A colleague and I were in NYC for a board meeting, and it wrapped up early. She said let’s stop at Irish Exit for a drink and well we did. Once you walk out the “station”, it’s like walking into a true Irish bar (albeit busier). Amazing selection of beer, wine and the hard stuff. Good service, free Wi-Fi and most things can be done via QR code. Will definitely visit next time I’m at Penn.“

“If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. Was here back in November, we popped in as we seen it while we were walking past. We ended up coming back 2 or 3 more times as we loved it. The chicken wings are some of the best we’ve ever had and as Irish people we can confidently say the Guinness is some of the best in NYC. Staff and service is exceptional. We wanted to have a going away party and after reaching out to numerous places with hefty minimums we decided to stop by and ask James if we could host it at Phil Hughes. He was super accommodating and reserved a whole area for us. He was attentive all night and made sure everyone was taken care of. “It was late on a Friday night when I came here. At this point it goes from a simple bar into more of a dance hall. The place was a bit crowded but I found a small corner to get some beers and hang out. It's fairly close to the subway station.“

“After reading several reviews about this place, I decided to stop in for brunch. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the bartender/server Micah, and I was seated immediately. Even though the place is small, it has a real charm to it.

I ordered the cheeseburger, and it was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The fries were good, too, but a bit on the crispy side. The bartender makes a really good Bloody Mary as well to accompany my meal.

They have a good food (brunch) and drinks menu and everything is priced reasonably. Since the weather is still warm, they also have seating outside.

Overall, this restaurant is such a nice little addition to the Windsor Terrace neighborhood, and I look forward to dining here again in the future.“

“This victorian inspired restaurant was very pleasant to the eyes. It really looks like you’re stepping back in time. I hear they offer an afternoon tea. I would like to come back and try that someday but we were here for dinner and it was wonderful. We had the lobster ravioli, and the steak and frites. Everyone we came in contact with was attentive and pleasant. They also have a full bar so I imagine they have a great cocktail hour or so.“
