I had my 2 1/2 year-old son in there and they were so nice to him and letting him push his little car all over the place. Every area was very clean, including the bathrooms. “We staying at the Hilton Hasbrouck Heights/ Meadowlands and Foodies Diner is about 1 miles from the hotel. Cute little place. My Wife and I we like th atmosphere. This is our first time here for breakfast. We order Greek omelet and Fruitie tuitty fresh toaste with 2 coffees. The fresh toast is very good but the omelet need more meat in it. “Our server Katie, hands down the best person I have ever met, sis came over with the most energetic attitude, filled my water within 30 Seconds of me sitting down, she answered any questions I had about the menu (there were quite a few) she was so attentive and made this experience one of the best ones. She made sure we were comfortable and having fun the whole time. She made our 1st time here definitely memorable for I’ll be back for my birthday in a month THANKS TO KATIE ????

“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

We've been staying in the Franklin Guesthouse (hotel adjacent to Madre) for a couple of nights and decided to give Madre a shot - boy were we in for a treat! Firstly, shout out to Armando, who made us feel immediately welcomed with his warmth and energy! For food, we got the Frutti di Mare, Croquetas, Brussels Sprouts, Cornbread Madeleines (compliments from chef) and Chicken - massive MASSIVE props to Chef Bryan and his very talented team. To say that they cooked "well" would be the understatement of 2022. They absolutely blew our minds with top quality medley of ingredients, depth of flavor, and masterful execution in every way. Cocktails were fun and delectable, which added the perfect "pop" to the culinary rocket ship that Madre served up. Just when my wife and I were ready to call it a night, Chef Bryan and Armando were kind enough to bring out the Pot de Creme for us, which was the bow and ribbon on this very special dinner. My only regret of the night was not having enough stomachs to enjoy more of what Madre could serve up. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Madre!“

“I was in NYC with my sisters for a sister trip, we were headed to the Hudson yards for a to around the Statue of Liberty and asked a man walking his dogs where to eat. He recommended this restaurant. He was spot on! We arrived around 3 pm on Friday. The waitress Nora seated us in the back room, which was very nicely decorated. She was very nice and super efficient. We ordered 2 burgers and 2 orders of fries, and they quickly arrived. The food was exceptional, hot, savory, and delicious. The restaurant was quiet and charming with just the right flare.“

“We came in last Thursday night for some pre dinner drinks while on vacation and we're so glad we found this spot! Our trip was drink/food focused and the bartenders here did not disappoint. My husband and our friend had a "Ramos Gin Fizz", (which was literally like the best cocktail I have ever tasted), I would have had one myself but I was already three deep into the Cucumber Mint Collins (which was also delicious)! There was a great live band playing and it was just what we needed after not being in the city for so long. Can't wait to come back!! Did I mention the bartenders were awesome? However, my recent visit to Gramercy Tavern compelled me to share my thoughts due to the disappointing experience. I was excited to dine at the bar after waiting half an hour for a seat. I ordered my usual drink, appetizer, and main dish, knowing the restaurant’s reputation for excellence. However, things took a turn when I stepped away to use the restroom. During that brief moment, my belongings—two bags—were removed and given to the coat check staff without my knowledge. When I returned, I was unceremoniously escorted to the exit, which left me confused and uncomfortable. At the reception, I tried to express my concerns, but the staff was dismissive. I requested to speak with a manager, but the coat check attendant firmly stated there was nothing to discuss and closed the door in my face. This treatment was not only unprofessional but also disheartening, especially after spending $145 on my meal. It’s unfortunate that a great dining experience was overshadowed by poor service and a lack of accountability. I hope the management reviews this situation to prevent it from happening to others in the future.“

“AMAZING. I visited NYC this past weekend, and my friend and I randomly decided to pop in for caviar and champagne. We were able to be seated outside without reservations. When I say "outside", it was really more of a covered outdoor area with very comfortable seating and beautiful lighting. Our waiter, Austin, was very accommodating, fun, and attentive. We ordered the lobster rolls with caviar, and honey, they were DIVINE. The rolls were tiny but oh so good. We also ordered the truffle fries which were amazing. Be sure to visit the bathroom... it's stunning. I will be sure to go for dinner the next time I'm in NYC.“
