“Finally - a restaurant where great food doesn't require a second mortgage! My wife and I stopped in for dinner tonight with zero expectations. Boy were we pleasantly surprised. I ordered the French onion soup, which was excellent. My wife ordered the Brussell sprouts which were out of this world! They were light and flaky and flavorful. I was happy the wife was willing to share! For entrees the wife got the Tuna Nicoise, which she loved. I ordered the Chicken Caprese sandwich which had the perfect ratio of meat to bread. The sandwich came with a small salad and the most delicious fries I've had in a while. Service was attentive but not overbearing. My water glass was consistantly filled. With appetizers and entrees out of the way, we had to try dessert. Sadly, this fell short of expectations. The lava cake was uninspired and the ice cream was crystalline. But we finished it anyway. Overall my wife and I were very pleased with the quality, food, and ambiance. I look forward to returning and trying the burgers. Definitely a new favorite.“

“Came here for a quick bite and a drink. This place did not disappoint. The hot honey chicken sandwich and truffle fries were delicious. I also ordered a margarita which was just as good. Atmosphere was pretty live for a Thursday night. My friend ordered the double smash burger with an espresso martini which she said was also good. Thursdays their wings are $1, will have to come back to try them.“

Her experience behind the bar should never go unnoticed. I’ve been coming here for over a decade and she’s always stood out among anyone else back there.“

“I was blown away by the generosity of the servings. You certainly get your money's worth here! The flavor profile has evolved into something much more sophisticated. The ambiance is chic yet comfortable, and the waiters are exceptionally polite. It’s a 10/10 from me. The food is much tastier than my last visit and I’m completely full. “I didn’t expect to like this place as much as I did, but honestly everything we had was delicious. The fried chicken was incredible, but what really surprised me was the chicken and waffle combo — I had no idea that would work so well together, but it absolutely does.

We ordered the Rev. Al Sharpton and the President Obama, plus collard greens and black eyed peas on the side. Both sides were really good, but the black eyed peas stood out for me — super flavorful and comforting. The collard greens were also great and tasted very authentic.

On top of that, the price was more than reasonable for the amount and quality of food we got. Definitely not expensive for what it is.

We started with the baked clams, which were fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick things off. The bar pie was exactly what you want from a classic Jersey tavern pie—thin, crispy, and packed with flavor.
For mains, the steak with shrimp scampi was outstanding. The steak was cooked perfectly and the shrimp scampi added that rich, buttery garlic flavor that made the whole dish stand out. The Drunken Onion Burger was another highlight—juicy, loaded with caramelized onions, and just downright satisfying. The owner even came out with some of their dessert options to try which ended the night perfectly.
The food, atmosphere, and overall experience made for a great first visit. Safe to say I’ll 100% be back to try even more on the menu. If you’re in the area and looking for great food in a classic local spot, Charlie Blood’s is absolutely worth the stop.“

“Brooke and Anna made my 60th birthday extra special at Hard Rock. My wife and I stopped in for lunch before taking a tour of the stadium. Brooke was our server and was fantastic. She told us to come back for a drink at the bar after the tour and before the game. We did. Brooke had reserved us two seats and the atmosphere was great. Another server named Anna found out it was my birthday and brought me an ice cream Sunday with a candle, Had the whole place sing Happy Birthday to me……Brooke and Anna really made my day. “Tuck’d Away has the BEST brunch in the area. I never had a more diverse brunch in my life. the entire staff is very attentive and professional. Michael is the best owner in the world I ever met - so fun to be around and cares about the community. Jason is a very fun and friendly bartender and Stephanie and the serving staff always make it feel like you belong.
