“Wife and I flew into JFK late one Friday. We were famished , it was 1030 by the time we got to Arthur Ave.. We parked and walked , came upon people eating alfresco. We asked if any place was still serving. The "MAN" Vic asked what we would like, from one of the tables. In no time we had a bottle of Vino Tinto in front of us and people were making us try food they were dining on. I felt like I was at my friends ,' THE PIAZZAS " house. The food was excellent and the people better. Can not wait to go back !“

“There is not much variety of food, the atmosphere is good but there is no place to give celebration surprises, I didn't like that. I went to celebrate my first year anniversary and I couldn't give the surprise because they didn't do that there. That's what I liked. I'm quite disappointed.“

“Perch is a cocktail bar that I've had on my list to visit for a while and I'm so glad I finally got the opportunity to try it. Coming in the bar is fairly small. There's only bar seating available so not the best place to bring a group. I came with my partner on a random weekday night around 7pm and there were only two seats left so def plan accordingly. Perch does not take reservations so visiting during off hours will give you the best opportunity to find a seat :) My partner and I ended up ordering the Mambo Siciliano and the Luna de Miel cocktails, respectively. Both were delicious but if I had to choose a favorite it would be the Luna de Miel. It was smooth, not too sweet, and well balanced. For food we ended up ordering the longaniza croquettes, smashed fingerling potatoes, and the lamb meatballs. All 10/10 with a slight edge to the croquettes for my fave. We also ordered the NY strip which was flavorful and tender but ended up coming out a lot more rare than what we asked for. All in all a really strong cocktail bar choice that I can't wait to add more into my rotation!“

“Pleasantly surprised, I went with my family to celebrate my parents 33rd wedding anniversary and we loved it! Service was exceptional and the food was delicious, perfectly seasoned and we thought the variety was good. I would choose this over the “nicer” looking chain Brazilian stakes house at the mall any day. “My friends & I went to Vinoteca last week and had such a wonderful time. The wine is very refreshing & delicious!! I love the fact that it’s self-served. To top it off, the food was out of this world!!! The staff was very kind & attentive and I would recommend Vinoteca to all, but, most importantly to all the wine lovers. So I visited here on Tuesday night.One little thing from my own perspective : Weird restroom ?Downstairs (bit steep stairs) and you can watch people preparing food near the restroom entrance ? wasn’t a big deal for me but I thought it was interesting to watch the cooking area.“

“I had one of the greatest dining experiences at this restaurant a few weeks ago. Everything I expected from a great restaurant was available here. We were greeted at the door. Decided to sit at the bar. Bartender was very friendly and professional. The menu had a ton of options. We decided to go with the mussels and skirt steak. Just amazing. Mussels with fresh and steak was cooked exactly how we ordered. The bread was so delicious we ordered twice - slightly toasted and warm and soft on the inside, perfect for dipping with broth. Sangria is perfect and very refreshing. This is the type of place I will be returning to very soon!“

“My boyfriend loves red snapper so I am consistently seeking places that serve it - on the bone where possible. We just so happened to be in the area when I found it on the menu. Went once and now regularly drive an hour just to come here for the red snapper and Pollo al ajillo which is my favorite (huge garlic fan). I want to explore other items on the menu but I can't because I absolutely love that dish. Try the Colombian breakfast or the breakfast burrito for a flavorful breakfast/brunch option, and the blueberry muffins and Nutella croissants for a sweet pastry on the go.
