“Catered a large order on 8/22 for my BFF's family consisting of trays of Sesame Chicken & Chicken w/Broccoli, Spare Ribs, Fried Dumplings, Egg Rolls, etc.! Trays came with a half tray of Rice. The food and presentation were outstanding and were plentiful. I ordered for pickup and everything was correct and on time. If you need to feed a group of people or need individual dinners Wing Lee is an outstanding choice! I would recommend it to everyone looking for excellent Chinese food!“

“I stopped in here yesterday for lunch and it was without a doubt top 5 foods I’ve ever eaten, both inside and outside the U.S. The malatang hot pot broth was so savory and umami I couldn’t believe how good it was. Medium spice level was just a tad too much for me and I handle spice pretty well (should have listened to the girl at the front counter…). Cant wait to go back and try the other hot and dry pots.“

“The pickled cabbage was a 10/10—super simple but packed with flavor.

The Crab Meat & Pork Soup Dumplings were decent, but the crab flavor was pretty subtle. The broth was good, though I’ve had better versions in Flushing. The filling could also use a bit more fat and seasoning for richness.

The Peking Duck Spring Rolls were fine but nothing special. The duck inside leaned a little dry.

The Fish with Szechuan Sauce was excellent—very flavorful. Definitely one of the highlights of the meal.

The Crab with Tofu was disappointing. I was expecting something closer to a crab roe / mitten crab style tofu dish, but the crab flavor didn’t really come through.

Overall the food felt a bit hit or miss, but the standout dishes are excellent.

That said, the service, atmosphere, and ambiance were all great and made the meal really enjoyable.

parking: NEW UPDATE: The city should help with the parking and help fix the restaurant, it would be nice, because those Chinese employees work really hard to help the customers, so it would be a nice gesture, I am also glad that they have two days off now, they deserve it...“

The mala broth was quite spicy (which I liked), and all the vegetables, meats, and other ingredients were fresh and well-prepared.

The pork soup dumplings are tasty and hold their own compared to some of the best I’ve had. The braised beef noodle soup is rich and comforting, while the bao chicken is flavorful and satisfying.

Portions are generous for the price, which makes it a solid value overall. The restaurant itself is modern and clean, giving off a nice vibe. Just a heads up though, it’s not really the best spot for parties larger than 6 people. But for smaller groups or casual meals, it’s a winner.“

We ordered the bubble teas (brown sugar milk tea and original milk tea), and they were SO good — perfectly balanced with that floral black tea flavor coming through. Not overly sweet, just smooth and refreshing.

I got the golden fried brown shrimp with fried rice and it was FIRE. Crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and broccoli, and they absolutely do NOT skimp on portions. The serving sizes were generous and so satisfying.

The staff were also super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.

“Super impressed by how authentic the food here is. We just moved to NJ from California and have been looking for an authentic Chinese restaurant that’s not just about chow mein or general tso. Forgot to take pictures of all dishes. The spicy dishes have very complex tastes than just spicy, and the non spicy dishes are also super fresh and flavorful. The restaurant does get busy because it’s very popular amongst Chinese people, but the staff is always attentive and makes sure that all of our needs are met. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely come back.“

They have wonderful customer service, always pleasant when I call, speedy delivery, and quality food (and packaging) There is no other chinese food in bergen country i’ve found that I can say has all of these qualities about them. I only ever ordered delivery because my brother is living at a Senior Rehabilitation center on W190 st. I was surprised to find the Chicken and Broccoli not drenched in oil or overcooked! It's not salty or full of MSG like other typical Take outs. Everything I ordered showed a true experienced cook. No lumpy gelatinous "gravy" although I always make it a point to ask for little gravy and they actually followed my request! I don't ever judge a Chinese restaurant by its decor. Some of the BEST ethnic foods I've had, we less than inviting. I get why they do not bother w the "atmosphere" but focused on good food. I get that it would be nice to be able to enjoy going there if you are a long time patron but I used to love a place called Peking Duck in Chinatown until they moved to a new space and changed to an upscale look and soon the food was not at all the same. Perhaps the chef left but I still missed the dishes they used to make to perfection. So don't fix what's not broken. If this is the only Chinese restaurant near you count your lucky stars bc they do authentic Chinese cooking.“
