“Tried DHC and honestly it did not disappoint! The chicken is tender, juicy and flavourful. The meal options are not too expensive either! It was so good we came again the next day. Also it is halal certified!

It's also worth trying their slushe drinks! So much better than the 7/11 stores.

Only negative is that there is not enough seating and it can get super busy. It is a 10/10 and would recommend.“

This place is honestly one of my go-to's whenever I'm not totally sure what I'm in the mood for but I know I want something really good, and they never, ever let me down. Their wine list is solid too. The staff are always super friendly and on top of things. Everything comes out perfectly seasoned and the portions are seriously generous.

My usual order is the chicken sandwich with a Caesar salad and fries on the side. You can't go wrong with it.“

So we got a bucket of mixed chicken, two sides of Mac and cheese, and some collard greens (they make them with black eyed peas and tomatoes; totally different from any kind of greens I ever had and I definitely was left craving more. “I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. If I were in NJ longer, I would surely order again! The food is absolutely delicious 😋“

“Today, I walked down to Staples from W. 97th Street. I always walk down Broadway, so I decided to walk down Amsterdam's west side of the street instead. I passed Poulet Sans Tete on my way down to Staples. Whatever they were serving smelled delicious from the street. On my way back, I stopped in and asked the very nice waiter if I could order to go, and he said of course. I ordered the Chicken baguette au jus with provolone, broccoli rabe on a toasted garlic baguette. I had a few more errands to run so it took about fifteen minutes before I was able to sit down to eat it, but was it ever delicious! That was my first visit there, but it won't be my last. So happy they had their windows and front door open so I could get even a whiff of what was cooking inside. Rock on!“
