“Our caterer gave us a choice of two bakeries, and we chose Country Sweets Bakery. From the moment we went in for our tasting, we knew we made the right choice. Their tasting setup was amazing, with samples of all their cakes and fillings. We had so much fun trying different flavor combinations and loved that each tier of our four-tier cake could be a different cake and filling pairing.

I loved their Lambeth-style designs and emailed photos of our inspiration. The final cake was absolutely beautiful and even better than we imagined!! Every layer tasted incredible and our guests raved about how delicious it was.

We also love that we can order a fresh anniversary cake from them a year later. We’re so happy we chose Country Sweets Bakery for our wedding and even happier to have found our new favorite local bakery!!“

“Your curb side pick up is not great! I have an issue every time! The app doesn’t let me check in then I have to go into the store and wait in the long customer service line. What is the point of curbside pick up if I have to do this!! Oh and you literally gave me rotten bananas today. In the past I have gotten wilted lettuce. So displeased! Really what makes you think it’s ok to give someone these bananas in their order ????“

“I love the food here. But i went there tonight around 730 and it was frigid outside. Just as we were sitting down to eat our food the worker decided to open the doors to carry all the outdoor furniture in then kept them open while he changed trash outside too. Not a care in the world for how freezing it was for his customers. It was extremely disappointing. We drive like 25 minutes to eat here. May be a while before we do that again.“

They have 6+ flavors every week and they rotate through new flavors weekly. They also have exciting holiday themed flavors. It's easy to get invested in coming back over time to try different delights! Their app is easy to use for orders and their rewards program points add up quickly. “I’m obsessed! Found this bakery on too good to go & took a ride over (from jersey) I came home with 4 different flavors of the banana pudding & my 16 year old and I tried each one. I can’t even pick a favorite because they are all so good. The Magic flavor name makes complete sense when you take a bite because different flavors seem to magically appear in your mouth (peanut butter being the last to hit…) hard to explain but if you taste it, it will make sense! I got 2 large puddings in my order than bought 2 different small ones in different flavors & i regret not getting the 2 extra cups in large! Driving in Philly stresses me out but I’ve never wanted to drive back over there so bad! For more pudding! I will be recommending this bake shop to everyone! “We worked with Joe to put together a tea reception after our wedding ceremony, and we couldn't have been happier! The pastries themselves were so delicious and very pretty (my personal favourites were the mini-cupcakes). And, Joe was a pleasure to work with, very communicative and upfront. We had to switch things up last minute from having the food out on display to having it packaged and handed out, and Joe and his team did a fantastic job pivoting, even coming up with a cute little QR code sticker with the menu for each box. We'll definitely be going back again.“

“My teen is obsessed with the cookies of the week at Crumbl . Our love language is food and I'd do anything to see my girl smile so this location and all it offers is our favorite Crumbl. The staff is kind ( even in mad rushes- like the 2 hour wait for their birthday a few weeks ago) The staff is mostly teens and I’m impressed with their ability to run it as uniformly as they do.
I usually wait in the car while my daughter runs in, so I’ve never ordered. The staff was helpful picking flavors and showing me the ropes of ordering. We will be back again soon!“

I stopped by Mayflower Bakery & Cafe while I was in Chinatown and I’m so glad I did. The pastry case was packed with options and everything looked super fresh. I grabbed a pineapple bun, a roast pork bun, and a coconut tart, and honestly all three were delicious. The buns were soft and fluffy, the fillings tasted fresh, and the coconut tart was perfectly sweet without being over the top. I also ordered a Vietnamese-style coffee, which was strong and smooth and paired perfectly with the pastries.

The place itself is small and simple, but the staff were really friendly and even offered to warm up my pastries, which made them taste even better. Prices are very reasonable, so you can try a bunch of different things without breaking the bank. Overall, it’s the kind of spot I’d happily come back to whenever I’m in the area, tasty food, good coffee, and a welcoming vibe.“

I went for my first time and the owner Steve could tell I was into bread and pizza and history and stuff and invited me back to check out how he bakes everything and showed me all the old machines, the mixer, the dough separator. I haven’t had an experience like this visiting a food establishment in ages . The pride and labor of love Steve has for this are evident in all he does. His colleague Albin was awesome too!
