“We were here several nights in a row during a work event, it was definitely the popular spot amongst my colleagues. I did not try any of their food, but they had an OK beer selection for a hotel bar, and the overall atmosphere was really nice. The outside space with multiple fire pits was really awesome too, gave us some options.“

“Tap and Taco is truly something special. The food is amazing, but what really sets this place apart is the kindness of the owners. They go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated, treating customers more like family than guests. Their generosity and genuine care shine through in everything they do, and it creates an atmosphere you don’t find very often. Pair that with some of the best food in New Mexico, and you have a place worth supporting again and again. Thank you Joel and Laura Marquez you guys are the best ever:) we love you guys“

“This place serves genuinely authentic Mexican cuisine. From quesadillas to chips and refried beans, everything surpassed my expectations. If you're in town, it's a must-visit spot. Plus, their ice cream is a delightful bonus, allowing you to indulge after enjoying a satisfying meal.“

“I was visiting New Mexico and went to the Range Cafe twice in my short stay. Both experiences were nothing short of perfect. The food was the best ive ever had and my server (Elizabeth?) was one of the best servers ive ever had. Just an incredible place that I could not recommend more. And dont forget the deserts!“

“This little restaurant consistently delivers great authentic Mexican food and their tamales are the best - tasty flavor wrapped in masa that is moist and not too wet or crumbly. I found this place after reading some reviews and thought I'd try it out and I'm so glad we did - we love this place. You can order ahead and pick up or they offer a small sit down area inside. The staff is always super friendly and helpful, all done with a genuine smile too. We moved from LA where there's plenty of good Mexican food choices but not too many out here (more New Mexican than Mexican) and we're so happy to have found this restaurant. My personal favorites are the burritos and the tamales, you definitely can't go wrong with either of those options. We'll be back for more and so should you!“

“Thanks guys for keeping it right. This sounds like a real national dish. Thank you very much! Behind the forest to the east, there is a wonderful Mexican cuisine on wheels. I recommend it because it will really soften a hard working day. Thanks to the owner for the quality of the food.!!! If you continue like this, everything will be great for you!!!!“

“The food and most of the staff we’re great. One of the staff started a debate about Mexican and New Mexican foods not served. No potatos in NM ? What and Perea family being the oldest in the state. We all have roots girl but learn your facts. You do serve Mexican here, flan is Mexican. But became an argument not a place for this made the meal less enjoyable to bad.“

“Had me & chips & salsa Greeted as I entered by a friendly welcoming staff, quickly seated and brought water, fresh brewed iced tea and as I gazed the menu I found things I had never tried before, the staff answering any questions I had and very willing to accommodate my hunger, ordering Huevos Rancheros, with side sopapilla, it was absolutely delicious, I had asked what a stuffed sopapilla was they explained, but I did not order one as it contained mushroom, staff made me a fresh one without and presented it beautifully for me to enjoy, what a great breakfast and experience and being able to witness staff that take pride in their chosen line of work!!! Thanks guys you ROCKED it!!“
“Wow. I can’t stop thinking about your quesadilla and birria tacos !! The best in New Mexico !“

“The absolute BEST huevos rancheros I’ve had in a very long time. Complemented by smashed roasted potatoes that I’ve never had before. Everything was excellent. We complimented the waitress on the food and the sous chef Jordan came out and greeted us. with a huge smile. Will definitely be coming back and everyone we know will hear about it.“

“I knew the tacos were going to be good when I saw the cook was being hygienic. He took the order without gloves and applied gloves to make the food and removed them when he packaged them. Most food places keep their gloves on during the whole process and it’s unhygienic. Also he prepped my tacos with cilantro and cebolla. In most places they have you grab everything after so you can prepare them. Highly recommend, the tacos were hot and delicious.“

“Celebrating an 80th Birthday. Everyone's food was good except for the Birthday guy. Huevos Rancheros had very little taste and the eggs were too mixed up in meat. Would not have ordered meat if he'd known that. Meal was disappointing for him. The dessert Flan was a nice gesture.“

“Burritos have flavor and they are a good size! I got a veggie Burrito with bacon added red, and it was delicious. I would have liked some more red but you can always get a side of it. Overall great experience. The place is quite small so we did take our food to go but they also have drive thru. Definitely our new go to spot for Burritos.“

“They're honestly the best Filibertos in the US, even out of most of the Tucson locations too! I just moved back here after staying in Tucson for several months and had Filibertos in around 6 locations around AZ, even up to Scottsdale, and this location rivals the best locations in the Phoenix Metro area (Scottsdale included) and Tucson area. I'm a major lover of food and truly knows what that means. That Tucson UNESCO intangible cultural heritage flavor exists at this place in Rio Rancho, NM. The flavor at many AZ locations was sadly VERY hit or miss, but this location has consistently had impeccable food since my first visit in 2013 when I moved here and fell in love. It actually influenced my decision to move back here for this location. That's not a joke. Lol They have the best carne asada burrito in the Southwest that I've tried. The AZ locations CONSISTENTLY failed to season their meat or get the proper grill crust on the carne meat, sometimes runny and no flavor. MANY carne asada burritos I ordered there were boiled beef, not grilled. Disgusting texture. Like eating rubber. Like no effort in some places. But this location nails it EVERY time. Please don't change.“

“My mom and I go here for breakfast every Saturday and the burritos never disappoint. The breakfast burritos are a great value. You get more than you pay for. The staff is always friendly, and the restaurant is always clean. We've been doing this for nearly a year now and have never had a bad experience. 10/10 recommend.“

“We have been dining here for breakfast for as long as they have served breakfast. Today I realized I had not done a review - which was a mistake. Now open at 8:30 AM seven days a week, you are really missing something by not watching for their specials. The initial specials were free breakfasts for the first fifty patrons. That lasted a month and they were the same breakfasts as on the standard menu. This past month, they have offered BOGO - again the same standard menu. The first few weeks of December (2025), we were told they will offer half-price breakfasts. We're coming back even after the specials are done with. Friendly service from a delightful staff. Some folks are put off by the sports bar ambiance for breakfast, but we don't mind since we arrive when they open and just ignore the numerous TV screens and music. Great place to enjoy a surprisingly good dining experience. I favor the Crab Cake Benedicts with beans instead of the papitas. My wife really likes the Avcado Toast but with two eggs. Highly recommended.“
“The Range Cafe is beyond cute...it is adorable in a kitschy way. There is art everywhere along with some amazing bronze sculptures...really impressive. Anyway, the food is the main event. We liked our experience so much that we came back a couple of days later. The first time around: I ordered the Huevos Rancheros with sunny-side-up eggs...which were perfectly cooked. Drew had the cheese enchiladas...which he enjoyed. We shared an order of their Blue Corn Blueberry Pancakes...OMG!!! These pancakes were amazing...filled and topped with fresh blueberries and also topped with pinons...to die for. The service is excellent as is the food. As I said prior...we liked The Range Cafe so much that we came back a couple of days later. For that experience I had the Veggie Omelette...which I wolfed down and finished every-single-delish-bite. Drew had the Huevos Rancheros which he said was excellent. And, yes of course we shared an order of their delish Blue Corn Blueberry Pancakes...yes, to die for. Your tastebuds will burst with joy. The food...the service...the atmosphere is awesome.“

“Come to eat here quite often, usually pretty good. Last night ordered green chile stew which lacked green chile. Burrito Grande which was cold and asked for it to be warmed in microwave. The staff behind the counter and in kitchen looked at me as if I were speaking an unknown dialect!!! All I asked was for it to be warmed!! They tossed it in the trash, made me another one, which was also cold! I apologized for requesting it to be warmed, but their attitude was unreal.“

“It's the food you're used to, which is good. It seems nowadays most of the Twister restaurants are empty and depressing. This address, in particular, has a weird sewage smell, it always has so I always get it to-go from here. Not sure if the smell is from the area or their drains.“

“This taco bell location specifically is usually pretty clean although could use updated/repaired dining room furniture... the food is where they really shine, the meat and veggies are well balanced and you feel you've had warm and well prepared food items almost 100% of the time.“

“Santa Ana Café offers a solid, satisfying meal in a laid-back setting that feels both local and familiar. The burger was flavorful and cooked nicely, with smoky bacon, melted cheese, and crisp lettuce adding good balance. The bun held up well without overpowering the rest of the ingredients, and the overall execution showed care.
The sweet potato fries were the standout — crispy with just enough seasoning to make them addictive. They paired perfectly with the house ketchup, which had a nice tangy bite. Service was friendly and attentive, and food came out quickly even during a busy dinner hour.
This isn’t a spot trying to reinvent anything, but it doesn’t need to. It’s straightforward, comfortable, and hits the mark for a casual night out in Albuquerque.“
