“We were here several nights in a row during a work event, it was definitely the popular spot amongst my colleagues. I did not try any of their food, but they had an OK beer selection for a hotel bar, and the overall atmosphere was really nice. The outside space with multiple fire pits was really awesome too, gave us some options.“

“Tap and Taco is truly something special. The food is amazing, but what really sets this place apart is the kindness of the owners. They go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated, treating customers more like family than guests. Their generosity and genuine care shine through in everything they do, and it creates an atmosphere you don’t find very often. “Was weary about another café, haven't been to a good one in awhile..I gotta say that this place was delicious 😋, Definitely try the tequila lime shrimp tacos and the the range chicken,and their soup...omg!! Definitely come for another drive just to eat here, and thank you Mz Shelby for your excellent customer service and sweetness..such great staff.. 1 of my favs in Albuquerque area“

“Good food but fair warning, DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!!! I arrived and my order was non-existent so I had to wait for them to “find” the order and wait another 20 minutes. They said the online ordering system is not enabled but they will take your money trust me! Lol!! Enjoy!“

“The food and most of the staff we’re great. One of the staff started a debate about Mexican and New Mexican foods not served. No potatos in NM ? What and Perea family being the oldest in the state. We all have roots girl but learn your facts. You do serve Mexican here, flan is Mexican. But became an argument not a place for this made the meal less enjoyable to bad.“

“The absolute BEST huevos rancheros I’ve had in a very long time. Complemented by smashed roasted potatoes that I’ve never had before. Everything was excellent. We complimented the waitress on the food and the sous chef Jordan came out and greeted us. with a huge smile. Will definitely be coming back and everyone we know will hear about it.“

“Passing through Albuquerque and this place was recommended to us by someone we passed on a hiking trail on Sandia Peak. Went there for lunch and loved the atmosphere, decor and overall vibe. Food was delicious and the service was great. Shout out to our server Michael who was attentive and responsive - the whole team pitched in to make sure the customers were being served. It is our first time in NM and our fellow hiker said we had to try the sopapillos - they were delicious. Highly recommend El Pinto for a meal in Albuquerque!“

“Excellent breakfast dishes. Affordable and unique flavors. The surprise of our morning (my wife, two daughters and me) was the fry bread appetizer. Recommend you eat on the covered deck if the temperature is comfortable. Service was attentive but not excessive. Location is convenient in Bernalillo but just far enough off the heavily trafficked roads to give a serenity to the atmosphere.“
