“Fun place but I pray that it was a BAD NIGHT for wings cuz they sucked,I ordered 18 and struggled through about 5, they were lacking meat, nearly burned and honestly tasted like dirty oil,they went into the trash. The ranch,blue cheese,bbq,hot & sweet heat sauces were boring,straight out of the bottle and the teriyaki wasn’t available. The beer was cold & good wine selection. Sorry but WTH happened to your wings? I heard they were great but not even edible.“

“Fun atmosphere, with a great selection of candy.... IF you know where to look.
Would have loved to see more emphasis on the old fashioned style candies as the main attraction. It seems as though when you first walk in you are bombarded with candy you would find at any old gas station. In the far farrrr back, on mainly lower shelves is where I found my haven. Taffy in every flavor, rock candy, old style rootbeer barrels, you name it. The older gentleman working was incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly. We will certainly be back soon for the genuinely nice conversation and delicious locally made sugar free candy!“

“We went to Ijji Noodle House for my birthday last night and I’m so glad we did! The food was delicious, but more than that the customer service was amazing! Our server, Alexander, was attentive without being overbearing and was so much fun! Brent, the bartender, made me a birthday martini with 4 olives! It actually was my first martini ever and it was so sweet of him. If you want a wonderful, enjoyable, relaxed meal and love noodles like I do, this is the place to go.“

I personally love the Basil because the food is always fresh, nutritious and great tasting. Recently we chose them to provide catering for a 35-person birthday celebration at our home. We were extremely impressed by the time and attention that Chai gave to the planning of our event. The result was a beautiful set-up of amazing food and appetizers. Our guests totally loved it! Whether it’s for a simple lunch, a romantic or family dinner, or all-out catering, we can’t recommend The Basil enough!“

“This lady started her business selling tamales from her car almost 30 years ago. She has had her own store front now for several years. Extremely hard work and the best damn tamale In 500 miles!
She has a small, little cafe that local work crews like to frequent, but most of her business is take out.
Posole and Rice pudding is absolutely amazing!

“I went to the Cracker Box for the 1st time always wanted to go. I have to say a nice little hole in the wall joint. It is a very small place and you are sitting right on top of people I am sure when it is crowded probably to much for me. The service was excellent on top of their game and very friendly. The food was ok I got the Chilli burger I probably wouldn't get that again. It isn't a place I would go to all the time because I don't like to feel crowded but I would go again and maybe try the breakfast I heard that is good. Go there about an hour before they close and you will be good if you don't like crowds. 1 last thing make sure u bring money it is cash only but they do have an ATM that was cool. I will give it 2 thumbs up 👍 👍“

I was barely walking in the 60's, but we ate at Philippe's in L.A. at least once a month. (Philippe's being the claimed originator of the French-Dip.) Chef Brandon has evolved this dish. “Because we were up charged for everything. I ordered a burger that came without mayo or mustard and when I asked for mustard it was an additional .50 my husband asked for blue cheese instead of ranch it was also an additional .50 we ordered a child sized apple juice which was over $5 but the worst part was the service. Our waitress was the worst. She never asked if we needed anything so many things. I took one bite of my burger and it was so nasty. The other guests were nicer than she was. At $175 for our meal our service should have been better. We will certainly pick another restaurant for our next visit to Carson City.“

“I come in frequently and everytime I order oysters they are tiny , they used to be good size or large ,not even an extra to make up for the loss or a discount for something not worth paying for. The seafood soup is good but the fake crab is horrible better to remove it or change type of crab for a better one .I'll give it a try soon to see if anything changes and hopefully the micheladas are better too ,just beer and clamato won't do in my opinion“

“We eat here about 6 times a year, Virginia City is our home away from home, and this Cafe is our favorite breakfast place! We take the short drive down to Dayton usually on the last day of vacation, but if we go earlier in our trip we always go back the last day, as we want it to be the last place we eat before leaving! You will not be disappointed! Did I mention my favorite dish is their Huevos Rancheros! Steve's is their Chicken Fried Steak 'smothered and covered'!“

I ordered vegetables instead of rice with my chicken. They have other options besides chicken. The Veggies & chicken were really fresh. I'll be stopping back in again!“
