“Tasty pizza. I liked the flavor a lot. I liked the cheese, the texture and the flavor of the cheese and oil. Crust was good especially for some reason on the top of the slice that people often discard. That was very good plain it had a nice taste to it so I ate it. The base of the pizza itself was pretty good but maybe could have had a little more crisp and structure to it and maybe just a small fraction thinner. Overall, this was a fantastic pizza I'd be happy to eat. Good flavor. As far as ambiance, the place was nice and empty which I like and they had a bar as well as a good number of tables inside. Looked like they had a good number of fresh and many local beers on tap. It would be a good place to have a quiet chat and drink with a friend. Service was good, straight forward. I would return.“
“My husband and I went to burrata for dinner today. It was a Saturday so we did have to wait around 50 minutes, so I would suggest making a reservation online if possible. We grabbed a drink at the bar next door while we waited. I really liked a the ambiance of the place- modern yet homey feel. Service was excellent, food came in a timely manner. We ordered the Araninci which was delicious, the burrata - yum. For mains we ordered the pappardelle which was really good, and the mushroom jalapeño pizza which we also enjoyed. For dessert we had the tiramisu which from a distance I thought looked like a store bought tiramisu because they wrap it in one of those plastic pieces to keep it together, but once the waiter opened it up all of the cream at the top fell to the sides like lava! It was really good- coming from someone who is very picky about tiramisu! Drinks- I had an espresso martini (no baileys) which was also good Definitely will be coming back here- with a reservation next time!“

“We found this place on a spur of the moment lunch date decision and so glad we did as we really enjoyed ourselves so much. The pizza is fantastic and we also enjoyed a shrimp app with this incredible tomato sauce and got cheese served with some crust to soak up that yummy sauce. The owner Stephanie I think is her name was so welcoming and even let our dog come join us as it was late and not crowded in the front. “Excellent quality food, generous portions at reasonable prices! From the outside, this place looks like a plain-looking slice shop, but it is so much more than that. The service is friendlier than you normally would expect at a place like this, and they even packed up the leftovers for us. That's always a plus in terms of service. I had the fettuccine carbonara, which was certainly above average in quality. I find that carbonara is a difficult and unusual dish to make, so it's a good way to test an Italian restaurant. This place certainly passed the carbonara test. The portion size was absolutely enormous! It was better than the carbonara I had at a certain Michelin-starred restaurant in New Rochelle! I also had the opportunity to taste the fagioli soup, spinach pizza, and eggplant pizza. Everything was delicious. All of this, and the bill was under $50, with the tip included. Can't beat that.“

“An old school authentic Italian deli run by mom, dad, and their son. The food is outstanding, I had an Italian Combo and my wife had a turkey sub, there was no skimping on the ingredients, WOW! As for the pizza ? we traveled here from Cape Cod in search of the best pizza from Rockland County NY through Bergen County NJ. We eventually landed here at Petrillos and met John and his parents working behind the counter. An old school hard-working family making traditional pizzas. We were blown away by what they had created, a super tasty combination of classic sauce and the perfect amount of cheese on a slightly crispy underbody with a soft but crisp crust. We ordered 13 pizzas that day, 10 plain,1 green pepper & onion, and 2 chicken cutlet and cherry pepper. After trying the Chicken cutlet and cherry pepper I called the next morning and ordered 3 more...wow it was awesome. Upon picking up the pizzas Sunday morning we discovered John making breakfast on the flat-top grill so my wife ordered French toast and bacon, yum! We gave this establishment a 5-star review but on a scale of 1-10 we gave our highest review 9.8 only because there has to be room for something higher, we just haven't found it yet. I had the bucatini with zucchini and it was so special; savory and rich without feeling heavy. The cocktail list is small but the tequila mule was pretty good. We ordered a ton of food - three appetizers, two mains, two desserts, a cocktail, sparkling water and one soda and the bill came to just under $200 which felt really reasonable. My jeans feel tight and that is fine for me because it was worth every calorie.“
“Dante's is a great place. We have been delivery customers for a few years always enjoying dinners, apps as well as fantastic pizza. Deliveries are always quick and efficient . Friday we had to stop by a chef from the CIA who lives in Cresskill and we mentioned feeling like a nice bowl of pasta. So it was no surprise that Dante's was the pick. It's definitely one of the best around. The menu is fairly priced, they are absolutely affordable and the menu is thoughtfully put together. Service was great . Our waiter "E" did a great job. “I feel like the above-average cannolis are the secret menu item of this place; sometimes out of stock but worth every penny. Their plain cheese pizza is unfortunately only delicious about 60% of the time when a particular chef who adds seasoning to the bottom of the crust is cooking. I have yet to figure out the best day of the week and time to order to get him/her every time. When the pizza is mediocre, the crust is too thick, the cheese tastes bland, and it needs more red sauce. A shame this place can't be more consistent with their pizza flavoring and prep.“

Our waitress, Courtney, was incredible! She understands service. She was polite, very knowledgeable and engaging. She was also extremely efficient! The food was oh so good and the portions were huge. I felt greedy releasing the grip on my waist to eat it all up. But I couldn't. We had a 'to go' bag. Everything was excellent, the music, even the bathroom was clean and organized.
