“Very clean environment..great service..food was delicious“

“I didn't know, is there a legit 'bagel club?' Found this spot via google maps and thought to give it a try while waiting for my nearby coffee shop to open. Today, before 8am the place was quiet. Only one other customer, who was engaged in a conversation with the guy behind the counter. The shop is spacious and the fact that it wasnt busy and the food items for sale were very spread out, made the place seem very big, too big for the amount of business seen and lack of table seating. It was clean though. Customer service was ok. Straight forward.
I went with the sunflower seed (flat) bagel. Not a usual bagel flavor of other bagel shops. It is actually very good. A lot of seeds. If you like sunflower seeds, go for it. I guess it is flat to accomodate all the seeds.
I also grabbed two pumperknickel and one everything toasted with cream cheese.
The everything wasnt toasted enough for my liking. There was a decent amount of creme cheese.
Overall the vibe was off, very quiet for a weekday morning. Maybe they are more of a mid-day lunch spot. They had everything a bagel shop typically has e.g. cream cheese flavors. But not heaping amounts of each compared to City locations which anticipate much more business. While it is a decent place, i wont pick this club over others if I had to choose.“

Not authentic Chinese food, but quite authentic if you go to S. Korea.

The mandu (pot stickers) are good. And the jiang men noodles are great. The seafood stew was much better than expected. Great ocean flavor without smelling fishy or being overcooked.“

“Mengqi is an EXCELLENT server! From the very beginning, she had an extremely positive and great attitude. Before we even begin to eat, she noticed that I was wearing glasses and she handed me a lens wet wipe. I thought this was extremely sweet from her part! The way that she noticed this type of detail was just adorable.

My friend and I had questions about a couple of the menu items, and she was just so patient! There were two kinds of fish that my friend and I were deciding between to order, and Mengqi went to her phone to do a Google translation just so that we could get an accurate and descriptive description of what was the difference in taste between the two types of fish.

Throughout our dinner, she would come back to our table to see if we needed anything, to add more soup, and just to show that she was available for any requests that we might have.

There are not many servers who can continuously have a smile on their face while working - but Mengqi LITERALLY had a smile every time! And literally every time I asked for something to be brought to the table, she would immediately smile right after. But I must say, her smile was very genuine, and it did not look forced whatsoever. She is *so* sweet.

You can tell that she has a really great attitude and that just makes her customer service so memorable, to the point that I want to come back to this restaurant. Please, if the ownership of this restaurant sees this — give her a prize! Thank you, Mengqi !!!“

“I’ve been to another Che Li location a few times and visited this location for the first time back in May. The restaurant’s design is always lovely — each dining area is built like a small wooden oriental courtyard, which matches the Zhejiang cuisine theme perfectly.

We ordered quite a lot, and every dish turned out to be enjoyable. The crab roe noodle was especially delicious, better than the version I make at home lol. The soup dumpling were also quite good. Overall, a very refined and satisfying meal.“

Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. “We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. The flavors and taste are just the best. No matter what you order you will not go wrong. The service is top notch and Rocco and his staff are just the best at what they do. “Juqi was a nice dining experience. Most of the dishes when served were presented in a way to elevate one's dining experience. I was there for a birthday dinner and we were seated in a room. The table felt small at first but the waitstaff knew what to do that it never felt too crowded. Besides the food being good the waitstaff were consistent with changing plates and bringing the next course. Some of the dishes that stood out was the beef and tomato soup, the duck, the black rice that is set on fire (the aroma was pleasing where you're not sure what ingredients were put in) The soups were presented in a small ceramic bowl and tea lights were put underneath to keep it warm. This was a set menu and because there was a lot of food it was hard to keep track. Overall a good dinner out and a nice place for all group sizes to celebrate a special occasion or just a nice evening out.“

“Around 6:30 in the evening on weekdays, the store is almost full, business is pretty good, and the store also takes a lot of takeout orders.
The two of us ordered a bowl of mixed beef pho, a fried spring roll and a pork bun, and were very satisfied with everything. The fried spring rolls were very hot when they were freshly fried. They were crispy on the outside and filled with minced pork. They were delicious with the dipping sauce. There are three pork buns in a portion, and the fillings are crispy pork belly, pickled radish and sweet noodle sauce. This combination is unexpectedly harmonious and very satisfying. It is my favorite. The beef rice noodles contain beef tendons, beef slices and beef balls. There is not much meat but a lot of rice noodles. The soup is sweet and has a bit of Chinese medicine. It is just right for two people to share a bowl.“

The shell was cooked to perfection while the inside was a treat of flavors that was heavenly. The Silpancho had such great flavor. So authentic with the Carne lightly breaded and seasoned with the flavorful Zarza and a beet, carrot and vegetable salsa that complimented the egg and potato. Highly recommend to anyone that wants to experience a little part of Bolivia here in Queens, New York.“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“My first time they send really good food. And the staff really tried to accommodate my dietary needs. If they manage to have options with cleaner oils and etc. It would make them especially unique. But this is nothing to ding them on as you would be hard-pressed to find another vegetarian place with those options. It is fantastic to have such a favorable vegetarian restaurant in this neighborhood. I'm not surprised that they've been around for more than a few years. Give them a try!“

“I never thought I would find a kosher restaurant on the border of Bushwick and Bed-Stuy. And as far as I can tell, the closest place elsewhere you can find kosher food is in Crown Heights, which is about 2 miles away. Still, the shakshuka pita I had blew me away. That, and Eddie (the owner) helped me put on tefillin earlier. Considering it is a kosher establishment, the prices are pretty fair. Jewish or not, if you find yourself over here, try it, you won't regret it. My Orthodox friends would love this“
