“Modoo Korean in Queens is my go-to spot when I’m craving something comforting and flavorful. The beef ramen is honestly one of my favorites—rich broth, tender beef, and super satisfying every time. Today I’m having the chicken katsu udon, and it’s hitting the spot too. The staff is always friendly and the vibe is relaxed, so it’s an easy place to keep coming back to.“

“The food quality is very good and the staff is very nice and courteous.
The front also sells different varieties of kimchee, which was great!
It tasted different then what I normally buy at hmart. It has a homemade taste to it.
Enjoy going here.“

“Great place. Amazing service and food. Took care of my dad meal for being a USMC veteran days after Veterans Day. Class act. Would recommend to anyone in the area or traveling! Danny and Geraldine were amazing. We will definitely be back! Thank you again!“

“A cute little spot- not that big but can accommodate small parties if it’s not busy.
Clean inside.
Each pork tonkatsu 9/10 meal comes with a cream soup 9/10.
If you want, you can get more rice but it’s an extra charge.
The portions are a decent size for one person but if you order to go - it seems like they give you less and it doesn’t taste as good as with any crisp and fried food items - so I don’t recommend it.“

“We tried BBQ Chipork for the first time. The restaurant is small but clean. The host and cook were friendly. We ordered the $19.99 Ribs meal and had a feast! There were 6 tender ribs stacked on top of one another with a flavorful marinade. Their version of fried rice was far superior than other places - it wasn't greasy at all. The other sides were just as fresh and tasty. Street parking wasn't difficult and will defiantly revisit again.“

“We’ve been to Rolly Kimbab in Bayside so many times, and we always end up getting their combo boxes. The combos are pretty reliable — nothing fancy, nothing “wow,” but definitely not bad. It’s just good, simple food that fills you up.
If you’re hungry and want something quick and solid, this place does the job. Just don’t expect anything high-end — it’s more like a tasty “eat till you’re full” kind of spot.“

“I love coming here for quick and casual korean food— especially their spicy tofu seafood soup. If you’ve been a loyal customer here for long, just know that they raised up their prices and took away the little seaweed pouch they would give to each order. Still affordable, still hot and delicious.“

“The decor of a restaurant says a lot. Sometimes it says, you are about to break your bank and hunt down a pizzeria after and sometimes it says you are about to have a good homemade style meal and walk out with belly full.
Seafood noodle soup (Jjamppong) was the best. Tang soo yook was okay. Service was as good as it gets at these types of establishments. Will return to try other items!“

“Been coming here for decades. If you are Korean and a NewYorker there is a 90% chance you know of this place. Classic Korean black noodle spot that doesn’t disappoint! They make less than 12 dishes here and they do it well! Not much more to say. Big space, lots of seats and chill vibes. Totally biased but maybe the single most know korean restaurant in nyc? Who knows but Enjoy!“

“I ordered the wings with soy garlic and Korean bbq sauce. Both were delicious and very good. The garlic Parmesan fries actually has powdered sugar on top. I called to make sure it wasn’t someone in the kitchen messing up the seasoning. Turned out sugar is added on the fries so it’s salty and sweet. It’s not what I was expecting so not really my thing. I would order the plain French fries next time. The fries were very crunchy, just wished it wasn’t sweet.“

“I picked up a few different types of kimchi- one cabbage, the other made with bachelor radishes. Both are delicious. I also picked up a non-spicy white kimchi for my wife. For lunch, I chose a package of dumplings- 4 kimchi and 4 pork. And I couldn’t pass up the spicy tuna Kim bap- and I am glad that I didn’t!
My first time here- extremely clean, and the staff was very helpful. I was hoping to buy a small package of the regular cabbage kimchi but they did not have any in the display cases. They were kind enough to go back to the kitchen and put one together for me.
There isn’t any option to dine in- no tables or anything, but well worth the visit for take out. :-)“
