“Truly the greatest dining experience you can have in the area. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is so welcoming and inviting, you’ll never want to leave. If you get a chance, Monica is also the best part of the whole experience. She made our night a 10 out of 10 to 11. Might have to come on a weekly basis moving forward.“

The waitress was very nice and helpful with giving recommendations for dinner and I definitely do not know her but I think her name was Joanna pic related: this was my face after eating the burrito followed by a quinoa bowl“

“I really loved this place. It has a nice indoor and maybe an even nicer outdoor area. The staff was very kind too. I came here with a mission. 😎 I’m a huge fan of tripa so of course i tried the TRIPA taco and i chose ASADA too with steak. I really loved both, the textures, the flavours, everything was great. I loved the texture of the tripa tha most!!! Oh and the texture of the tortilla… wow, i loved that too. 😋“

“Stopped by on a lazy Sunday afternoon and ended up enjoying one of the most comforting meals I’ve had in a while. The tortilla soup completely stole the show — rich, flavorful, perfectly thick, and packed with crispy blue corn tortilla pieces in every bite. Honestly wished they had a bigger bowl because it disappeared fast.
Tried the bean & epazote tetelas on the side and they paired so well with the soup. Also shared the black bean avocado tlayudita and chilaquiles — both fresh, satisfying, and full of flavor. The chilaquiles do get a bit pricey once you add the extras, but the taste made it worth it for us.
Came around 2 PM on a Sunday and still found outdoor seating easily, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and unhurried. Great food, warm atmosphere, and one of those places you leave already thinking about coming back to.“

“Great Maxican restaurant in lower east side. Friendly service, busy. Large portions for us Europeans. Had the spicy prawn sliders which was like a large prawn roll in a spicy tomato soup. Too much bread for me. Then had fish tacos ( both were starter courses). Too much for me but excellent. Nice cocktails too“

“Quite possibly the best softserve in NYC, and I eat a lot of icecream. Went just for the icecream tonight, and even though the restaurant was full, they were able to accommodate us. (Thank you Ren for your hospitality!) Once again, it didn’t disappoint.“

“Esse Taco keeps things simple, and it works. I tried the chicken taco — juicy, well-seasoned, and served on a fresh tortilla that held everything together nicely. The flavors were balanced without being overcomplicated, letting the quality of the ingredients stand out.
The space is small and casual with mostly standing tables, but service is quick and the focus is clearly on the food. A solid spot if you’re looking for a straightforward, well-executed taco.“

“Amazing food and the freshness was unmatched! The burrito bowl was a good size and every layer had flavor. The meats were all well seasoned and had distinct differences. The Qaxacan cheese on the nachos was such a good addiction. Not to mention the owner Sebastian was terrific. You can tell he cares so much about your experience at his restaurant and it shows! We will be back!
Ps. Also sneaky good place to watch the World Cup because they had the game on!“

“My first time at Wonder was exceptional. Was recommended it by a friend has no idea what I was walking into. Food was exceptional - I got the Tejas Barbecue brisket meal. The place was clean, people were kind. First time here and I’ll definitely bb back.“
“Smothered Mexican influenced sandwiches?! I mean.. it’s a yes from me. The bread is a wonderful French baguette that comes from another great spot in Williamsburg but you’ll have to ask them for their source I won’t spill it here. You can choose between 3 meats you want on your sandwich we picked chicken and spill the sandwich cause we also order nachos which were also great. I would give this place a visit I’ve never seen/had anything like it and it was very satisfying.“

“Dolores is the perfect step above casual; dimly lit, intimate, and very “worth the wait” NYC dinner spot (and there will be a wait, so go early). We started with chips, guacamole, and cheesy refried beans, and honestly, all three set the tone. The chips were house-made and perfectly crisp, the guac was bright and lime-forward, and the beans were creamy and rich. The El Rey short rib taco was super tender and packed with flavor in a delicious house-made tortilla, and the cheese-filled croquettes were crispy, melty, and paired so well with everything. The papadilla (blue masa stuffed with potatoes) was simple but done really well. What stood out most was how well everything worked together - we said we wouldn’t come back without ordering the exact same spread.
Service was excellent! Friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. The only downside was the drink menu: very tequila-heavy with limited alternatives, but that is to be expected at a Mexican restaurant I suppose lol. The spicy margarita wasn’t great, but the cucumber-forward vodka cocktail was refreshing and probably the only one I’d reorder. Also worth noting: vegetarian options are somewhat limited, but the ones we tried were all genuinely good. Overall, Dolores is definitely a spot I’d come back to (& I hope it’s soon)!“

“My friend and I visited Elnico Rooftop on 5/19/26 on a hot spring evening, and we had such a wonderful experience. The sunset views were absolutely beautiful. I had heard that earlier in the spring season some of the surrounding buildings can block the sun at certain angles, but now that it’s later in the summer, the sunset is much more visible. Even before the sun fully set, we were treated to a stunning pink and purple skyline that made the evening feel extra special. I also loved the pastel, modern décor and furniture throughout the rooftop, it gave the space a stylish yet relaxing feel. Combined with the open layout and fresh air, it created a bright, airy ambiance that was perfect for unwinding. The guacamole was fresh and delicious, with just the right hint of spice. I ordered the short rib entrée, which was incredibly tender and flavorful, and it came with tortillas and salsa that paired perfectly with it. The potato and yucca puree was to die for. The cocktails were refreshing, well-balanced, and full of flavor, and we even appreciated the small ice cubes in the drinks. We had. We had a pineapple on punch, prickly sour with tequila and a prickly margarita.. I wished the cocktails could be a little bit stronger. The rooftop itself is spacious, wasn’t overcrowded during our visit, and the R&B music added to the great atmosphere. The venue is dog-friendly, which is a nice touch, although I think having a designated area for dogs would make the experience even better, especially on windy days when fur can travel near other tables. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the food, drinks, views, and ambiance, and I would definitely return for another visit.“

“Second time ordering take-out from here. They’re really friendly and have great service, but it’s not going to become my next favorite unfortunately. Food was okay, ordered cheese birria tacos which I thought would be cheese crusted rather than just some shredded cheese tossed inside.
The birria consome was great though! I think it was missing some salt but when combined with the tacos (as it should be) it was a perfect combination.
The place is small though, not a lot of seating space and the space that is available is a bit tight, so that ruins a bit of the atmosphere for me. But, for takeout nearby, I think it’s in the right neighborhood and deserves its round of applause.“

“Ordered online for pickup on a whim, and I'm glad I chose this place for lunch! The burrito bowl was delicious, and the serving size was perfect! The grilled shrimp I added was so worth it, they definitely didn't cut any corners like most places do when it comes to shrimp. The sweet plantains were also absolutely delicious. I really want to come back to this place to try more of what they have to offer. Thank you!“

“Love Bar Milagro! The drinks are fantastic, and the service is always top-notch. I’ve been a few times since it’s right around the corner from me, and it never disappoints. Mauricio, the bartender, was especially helpful with recommendations from the drink menu and made the experience even better. The atmosphere has a welcoming neighborhood feel, while still offering fun weekend events like sports watch parties that are always entertaining. If you're looking for great drinks, friendly service, and a lively vibe, Milagros is definitely worth a visit! 🍸✨“

“Taqueria El Torito was a great spot with delicious food, fun drinks, and a really cool atmosphere. The presentation stood out right away, from the clay cup cocktails with the spicy rim to the branded burger bun and rustic serving boards. The shrimp taco was fresh and flavorful, with bright peppers, herbs, and lime that made every bite pop. The burger and fries were also excellent juicy, filling, and served with a nice crispy side of fries.
The vibe inside was warm, lively, and full of personality, with fun décor and a cozy bar setup. The drink menu had creative signature options, and the cocktail El cantarito I tried was refreshing with the perfect spicy kick. Overall, Taqueria El Torito is a great place for tasty food, good drinks, and a memorable night out. I’d definitely come back.“

“Legitimately some of the best chilaquiles I've ever had! Just the right amount of spice, plenty of sauce, perfectly cooked eggs, some tortilla chips crispy and some soft. Absolutely delicious, as were the rice and beans served with it! My waitress was super sweet and patient, and the decor in the restaurant is cheery and fun to look at. Will definitely be back whenever I'm in the area!
ETA: Also, prices were super reasonable. Chilaquiles with two eggs, rice and beans included, was 14 bucks. Also got a limonada and total with tip was around 22 dollars. So worth it!“
