“I always come here when I’m craving a good slice of pizza. All of their locations are great, but this one feels especially welcoming and the atmosphere is amazing. Their vodka slice, barbecue chicken slice, and white slice are all incredible. Eating pizza with my girlfriend, whose father owned a pizzeria for over 20 years, means finding a good pizza spot is crucial for us, and this place has exceeded both of our expectations. The slices are always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I’ll always come back to The Pizzeria for a great slice. Highly recommend! 🍕“

“This was my 4th time back to Root & Branch Brewery and my 3rd time having pizza from Nico’s Charred Pies. Had the pleasure of being able to try their new square pie. It was very light and crispy. I would’ve liked to put some toppings on it, but was interested in just trying it as is, which is “upside down” style! I really enjoyed the crust - there was visible olive oil on there - yum! The round pie is the spicy red. Large, thin slices of garlic and a fiery kick! The crust was thin and crispy!“

Their Chicken a la Mama, as well as their Granma Vodka pizza brings me to my knees without fail. I'm a bit picky (like extra lemon butter sauce and garlic knots please) but the staff always gets it right. Called and spoke to the Manager Angelo, he took care of everything and did the right thing and because of his actions I have been back several times and will continue to use Pino’s as my go to restaurant for all things beyond pizza.

Truly from the way they make their fresh dough, choose their top of the line cheese, tomato sauce, Dearborn ham, etc, I can tell they shopped around and chose the best. From perfectly crisped meaty bacon bits, tender chicken and how they cut their produce to carmelize the onions on top so it complements the entire BBQ chicken pizza I just tried. This is the first round pizza I had from them and it didn’t disappoint. It had a nicely seasoned Parmesan garlic butter crust and the toppings were perfectly placed with just enough bbq sauce. Can we talk about their salads, too?? Quality produce with romaine lettuce cut like pros-uniform and easy to eat. And generous toppings with a yummy ranch (my favorite here) dressing. ! My spouse and I only had 5 minutes before we needed too drive to the Ferry or we would miss it, but we were SOO hungry!
We were only looking for a gas station to get chips because of time constraints. When this lovely spot caught our eye with their pizza by the slice. Apon entering we were greeted by 2 fellas. I could be wrong but to me it seemed they maybe related, best guess was grandpa and grandson. They were warm welcoming and happy to even share a tasting of their own “boom boom” sauce. We ordered one sausage and one chicken parm Stromboli. They cut them in half and packed them warm with boom sauce and red sauce, and even some parm sprinkle cheese. We decided we would share so we can taste both. First up was the sausage. It was love at 1st bite for us BOTH! The perfectly crisp outside with a filling to dough ratio that was heavenly! The blend of peppers and cheese paired well with the sausage. The chicken parm is a Classic and did NOT let us down! Just like the sausage’s crispy dough & warm center, and perfectly cut, bite size portions of chicken! Although we had sauces, it was NOT needed for either of the items, but indeed we saved them to try at home. As my niece would say, this was definitely a “GREAT mistake for me”! We are delighted to have discovered this GEM and look forward to going again!
Due to driving and hunger, no photos were taken. I am not one to sit and write a review but this meal was worth my time and effort, I had to write it as soon as I sadly took my last bite!“
