“Best shawarmas and super friendly owner! I am so so happy to have such good shawarmas so close to my place. I love shawarmas so you can trust me, also other stuffs are really good too. My vegetarian friend loves the fried cauliflower sandwich and falafel sandwich too! Great fries too! I rarely write reviews but this deserves one. Will definitely try more items in the future.“

“I was craving some kimchi stew and just happened to find this place and wanted to check it out. The banchan is so delicious especially the kimchi — my friend and i got 5 servings of it!! This place has the best kimchi i’ve had at a restaurant so far and the kimchi pork stew is delicious as well. The atmosphere is really nice as well, perfect for a date or just a nice hangout!“

“Very authentic Korean restaurant!! We ordered Kimchi fries, Fried wings, Kimchi Pancake, Calamari Udon, Yukejang, Soondoboo, Bulgogi, and the Kimchi Stew, and we really enjoyed all the dishes. The wings and fries were very crispy. The calamari udon was very delicious. And the soup based dishes were very flavorful. Overall, all the dishes were truly delicious and I recommend this restaurant if you are nearby a lot! Definitely will be coming back soon!!!!“
“Best Kimchi I've ever had. They have so much to choose from other than kimchi as well. Everything I've ever tried there has made me want to go back and get more. Love this place and love that they have a jar deposit as well so they are helping reduce waste.Overall excellent staff, great food, and well run business. What more could you ask for?“

“Had a very pleasant lunch there. They have really good Kimbap (Korean sushi roll, not raw). I usually order Galbi or Soon Tobu when eating in at Korean but I got their Bibimbap hot stone. It was really good. Even for lunch they give you banchan. Food is $20-30 a person, but the portions are excellent so you don’t have to order a ton of food. I saw Koreans eating there and that means something when you’re randomly in Fort Greene. The female service was super nice and attentive. The male food runner was working hard too even though there were only a few tables. The inside was style, not too messy to look at and was very very clean. Like the floors looked brand new. I think they remodeled from a couple of years ago? I remember it being more black inside. I’m not sure. I’d be back. I wish they had more customers because I want them to do well and stay open.
Kid-friendliness: Yes
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. Ground floor“

“Don't know where the bad reviews are coming from, but I haven't found better value Korean food for the price in the neighborhood or in Brooklyn for that matter. Flushing/Bayside or Fort Lee/Pallisades Park of course is another story, but this is Brooklyn.“

“This was my first time coming here and I loved it!! We were immediately greeted by the most amazing hostess Janice with a friendly, positive, and genuine smile, creating a welcoming atmosphere. She explained everything really well and made us feel welcomed and valued. You can tell she genuinely cares about the customers. Our server was friendly and attentive too. The food was also delicious and we had a blast!“

“Excellent neighborhood restaurant. Food was very good. Great service. Restaurant was exceptionally clean, bathroom, menu, and surfaces. $25-30 for an entree was a little shocking at first but the portion was good and it came with banchan (Korean appetizers/small plates) rice, and miso soup. 2 people split 1 entree and a kimbap and it was the perfect amount of food for $20-30 per person.“

“From Minnesota to try this.... Great concept at Whole Food... Fresh and healthy... Sauces and also pickel were good with Kimbap...“
“Their kimbap is yummy but their tuna onigiri were even yummier. I am very distraught on weekly basis that they don’t serve the tuna onigiri anymore, it was quite literally the best onigiri in the whole entire world. Even the ones I had in japan couldn’t compare. I used to come every time I had 5$ just for that tuna Mayo onigiri, I would even buy multiple at a time. I have been a loyal customer since the pandemic era. When they told me at the register that they don’t serve them anymore, a part of me died. Please…..bring them back..“

“Kri was an excellent server and handled the entire restaurant very well.
Portions were amazing. Come hungry.
We had the Korean Fried Chicken and the Chicken Buldak Bowl. It was savory and not overly seasoned. However I'm sure the other options are just as great!
It was a quiet and inviting environment. Seats were okay and overall a great three star restaurant. Really a restaurant when you're hungry but have a tight budget or you don't want to spend more than $100 between two people in NYC.
It was a bit chilly and wondering if they could bump up the heat.
Overall a good experience on a Tuesday night. Cheers“

“moonbowls has three vegan options which you can get as a bowl, salad, or plate: Impossible beef, crispy cauliflower, and sesame tofu bowl. It also has a special avocado bulgogi bowl. Each option, in whatever form, packs a punch. With the exception of the egg, all their sides and sauces are vegan. Also carries Sweet Loren’s edible cookie dough and edible brownie for dessert. Operates out of the Doordash ghost kitchen with only a pickup or delivery options. It’s on the pricey side but a good lunch option if you want something different from the usual and want to treat yourself.“

“The place is very small, tables for 1-4 people. Although there is still a bar area. Friendly staff, very tasty and large bowl'sI personally recommend Dol Sot Bowl + Bulgogi (beef), and you have to be careful because the stone bowl is very hot“

“BK location is more pleasant than KTown Manhattan. Clean tables and fries to order. Had delicious boneless tenders in honey garlic sauce and the order came quickly and the skin was crunchy and light. I’d definitely prefer this location to Manhattan because the food is made to order vs KTown had pre-made takeaway.
Plus if you want to listen to non-stop kpop while watching Brooklyn foot traffic from the window, this spot is for you.
It also looks like you can get delivery. There was a constant string of delivery bikers in and out of the location.“

“I've been a loyal customer of Sweeties since it opened. I've loved their Soy Garlic bowl, Bulgogi bowl, chicken sandwich and french fries! The flavor and tenderness of the chicken is fantastic!
Just one suggestion: One time I recently ordered the Soy Garlic bowl and it came with I believe basmati rice, rather than the usual white rice it has come with when I ordered the previous several times. In my opinion, the classic white sticky rice takes the bowl to a different level, so hopefully they were just out that day!“

“Food is tasty. Portion size is a little bit smaller than I like it to be. There's a special event held there that day called "CelebrASIAN" with lots of Asian vendors to check out. You get a stamp card to collect stamps from each vendor you purchase something from to enter into a free raffle drawing.“

“The lady at the front desk now is super pretty and nice, and has a great attitude. The drinks made by the tea making lady are also delicious every time.
However, there is a strong smell of cigarette smoke every time I come here. The smell of smoke wafts in after the staff smokes, and it lingers for a long time, which is very unfriendly to pregnant women and children.“

“Best flower selection in the neighborhood to customize and pick a variety of floral arrangements. The market is solid too - the Korean food (wings, bimbimbap rolls, kimchi soup) and snacks are delicious! Really great service and owned by an even better family!“

“Update: I came in the next day and the manager said he processed a refund and he gave me lunch on the house. Apparently a technical glitch allowed me to order when they are closed. I appreciate them making it right. I enjoyed the food, especially the tofu and vegetables with brown rice which was served promptly and piping hot. I wasn’t as impressed by the fries but many reviewers seem to enjoy them so maybe it’s a matter of taste.Original: Ordered for pickup. Walked over with wife and kids and the restaurant is closed and there’s a church service going on inside. No one answers the phone and there’s no instant refund like Seamless. Hopefully I get my money back tomorrow.
Vegetarian options: Tofu and vegetables was delicious“

“I’m so glad I found you AGAIN! I used to come here during the pandemic, and this place is truly a gem. The food is absolutely delicious—I’d grab something to go and walk to the beach. I shared this spot with so many friends and honestly couldn’t stop talking about it. It was such a sad day when I thought it had closed, because this place is so special.
Years later, I just learned you’re still open! Too bad I’ve since moved to the West Coast, but I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in NYC. This isn’t just about amazing food—it’s a cultural experience like no other. Please keep warming our hearts with your delicious dishes and unforgettable atmosphere.“

“Taaaaasty tasty food. Wow, wow, wow. I am a big fan of their kimchi and scallion pancakes and an even bigger fan of their galbis, both beef AND pork. The pancakes are always crispy and flavorful with a really nice sauce (I think soy sauce with citrus? I don't know what it's called but it is surprisingly great paired with the pancakes), and the galbis are always heavenly and juicy. The galbis come out on a steaming plate with kimchi and some vegetables and rice, and it's just a home run every single time. I've really only had the best experiences here. Service is fantastic as well. Great atmosphere. Great drink selections, both alcoholic and NA (found out about Milkis through them!) I couldn't speak to their takeout, but I do wish I lived closer so I could order everyday... but every time I go to Prospect Park I always make sure to stop by. Until next time!“

“If you’re in the mood for great food, Hangover Burger on 86th Street is the place to go. They serve up some of the best burgers around—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. But they also have a standout Korean Poke Bowl, which is equally impressive. The BBQ chicken version is tender, perfectly seasoned, and served over rice for a satisfying, flavorful meal.
With excellent service and a great variety of options, Hangover Burger is definitely worth a visit whether you’re craving a classic burger or something with a Korean twist!“
