“If you're looking for authentic, delicious Korean food with great service, look no further than ChinGoo. Whether you're craving a flavorful bowl of bibimbap or some seriously great fried wings, you won't be disappointed. Five stars all the way! Also splurge on their selection of Jinro Soju but be mindful of the fact that it is a strong drink!“

“I was craving some kimchi stew and just happened to find this place and wanted to check it out. The banchan is so delicious especially the kimchi — my friend and i got 5 servings of it!! This place has the best kimchi i’ve had at a restaurant so far and the kimchi pork stew is delicious as well. The atmosphere is really nice as well, perfect for a date or just a nice hangout!“

“One of my favorite spots in BK. The food is excellent!! The owner and staff are super welcoming and refreshingly friendly. Coffee is also excellent and it's one of the few places in the neighborhood that serves coffee/tea/matcha well into the afternoon.“

“Excellent neighborhood restaurant. Food was very good. Great service. Restaurant was exceptionally clean, bathroom, menu, and surfaces. $25-30 for an entree was a little shocking at first but the portion was good and it came with banchan (Korean appetizers/small plates) rice, and miso soup. 2 people split 1 entree and a kimbap and it was the perfect amount of food for $20-30 per person.“

“This K Pot location is clean and the AC is pumping! We
were taken care of by Justin and the service was impeccable.
He was courteous, helpful, patient, and extremely knowledgeable because my sister is gluten free and he made sure she was set. Will definitely be coming back and the food comes out so quick! Delicious!“

“Tiger Box is a bright spot in a part of town that doesn't have many restaurants. Korean food in particular can be hard to find, but Tiger Box is my new favorite for sure. I had the sundubu jjigae, a perfectly spicy stew of tofu and pork. Sai the owner clearly knows what she is doing. I haven't had a jjigae that good since I lived in LA's Koreatown.“

“Absolutely loved this place! Just had the most delicious bibimbap and Korean fried chicken, along with some very good cocktails. The price is extremely reasonable for such high quality food. On top of that the ambiance is nice- I ended up staying here long after the food was gone because it was so pleasant. The owner was very warm and kind and generous. Will be back soon!“
“As a new resident to the neighborhood, this place gives me a little piece of home cooking. Good kimchi is hard to find, and most are poor imitations. Kate’s Kimchi is one of the best I’ve tried in a long time, and having it so close is brilliant. I’ve tried their Bibimbap and the Dubu Bokkum—both fantastic. If you’re like me and miss home cooking, but find it a hassle to drive into the city or to Queens, Kate’s Kitchen is a time saver. What a gem! Highly recommended. I just hope this place doesn’t get too popular.“

“Best shawarmas and super friendly owner! I am so so happy to have such good shawarmas so close to my place. I love shawarmas so you can trust me, also other stuffs are really good too. My vegetarian friend loves the fried cauliflower sandwich and falafel sandwich too! Great fries too! I rarely write reviews but this deserves one. Will definitely try more items in the future.“
“The Food is good here just like the other Bon Chon's. If you love Korean style fried chicken this is the spot for you. The flavors are good and I love that they don't drown you in their sauce. This restaurant is an order at the counter style spot, there are no servers who come and take your order.“

“Update: I have to also admit if i was wrong.
I have since placed a few deliveries and the care for packaging and condition has been perfect.
I can appreciate the attention to detail.
Well deserved edit to 5 stars.
Come on, the person packing this could have done a much better job. Coming home to this is very disappointing.“

“Their kimbap is yummy but their tuna onigiri were even yummier. I am very distraught on weekly basis that they don’t serve the tuna onigiri anymore, it was quite literally the best onigiri in the whole entire world. Even the ones I had in japan couldn’t compare. I used to come every time I had 5$ just for that tuna Mayo onigiri, I would even buy multiple at a time. I have been a loyal customer since the pandemic era. When they told me at the register that they don’t serve them anymore, a part of me died. Please…..bring them back..“

“They don’t have a sign, and the ambiance is pretty sparse / strange BUT THE FOOD IS INCREDIBLE!!
Soon dubu was beast mode. Bibimbap was incredible. And their chicken bowl (forgot the name) was awesomeeee!
Huge portions and really great flavor. Also the food came out quick.
If they got a sign, better menus, and a vibe going on inside the restaurant, it would be nuts.“

“Don't know where the bad reviews are coming from, but I haven't found better value Korean food for the price in the neighborhood or in Brooklyn for that matter. Flushing/Bayside or Fort Lee/Pallisades Park of course is another story, but this is Brooklyn.“

“moonbowls has three vegan options which you can get as a bowl, salad, or plate: Impossible beef, crispy cauliflower, and sesame tofu bowl. It also has a special avocado bulgogi bowl. Each option, in whatever form, packs a punch. With the exception of the egg, all their sides and sauces are vegan. Also carries Sweet Loren’s edible cookie dough and edible brownie for dessert. Operates out of the Doordash ghost kitchen with only a pickup or delivery options. It’s on the pricey side but a good lunch option if you want something different from the usual and want to treat yourself.“

“I've been a loyal customer of Sweeties since it opened. I've loved their Soy Garlic bowl, Bulgogi bowl, chicken sandwich and french fries! The flavor and tenderness of the chicken is fantastic!
Just one suggestion: One time I recently ordered the Soy Garlic bowl and it came with I believe basmati rice, rather than the usual white rice it has come with when I ordered the previous several times. In my opinion, the classic white sticky rice takes the bowl to a different level, so hopefully they were just out that day!“

“BK location is more pleasant than KTown Manhattan. Clean tables and fries to order. Had delicious boneless tenders in honey garlic sauce and the order came quickly and the skin was crunchy and light. I’d definitely prefer this location to Manhattan because the food is made to order vs KTown had pre-made takeaway.
Plus if you want to listen to non-stop kpop while watching Brooklyn foot traffic from the window, this spot is for you.
It also looks like you can get delivery. There was a constant string of delivery bikers in and out of the location.“

“Best flower selection in the neighborhood to customize and pick a variety of floral arrangements. The market is solid too - the Korean food (wings, bimbimbap rolls, kimchi soup) and snacks are delicious! Really great service and owned by an even better family!“

“The lady at the front desk now is super pretty and nice, and has a great attitude. The drinks made by the tea making lady are also delicious every time.
However, there is a strong smell of cigarette smoke every time I come here. The smell of smoke wafts in after the staff smokes, and it lingers for a long time, which is very unfriendly to pregnant women and children.“

“I was here last week for a food event/car show(?). The line and wait to get inside was not all too bad minus the stray rain showers that came down once in a while. Food was amazing but the venue itself was not well ventilated so I had to catch myself going outside after a short while.“

“I’m so glad I found you AGAIN! I used to come here during the pandemic, and this place is truly a gem. The food is absolutely delicious—I’d grab something to go and walk to the beach. I shared this spot with so many friends and honestly couldn’t stop talking about it. It was such a sad day when I thought it had closed, because this place is so special.
Years later, I just learned you’re still open! Too bad I’ve since moved to the West Coast, but I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in NYC. This isn’t just about amazing food—it’s a cultural experience like no other. Please keep warming our hearts with your delicious dishes and unforgettable atmosphere.“

“Mochick Tea in Dyker Heights is a hidden gem! 🍵✨ Their mochi donuts are hands down the best and most authentic I’ve ever had — soft, chewy, perfectly made. I’ve tried mochi donuts from so many places, and now I can confidently say nothing compares to these.
Their onigiri is fresh and flavorful, the grilled chicken bento is delicious and filling, and their bubble tea is spot-on every time. The quality here is incredible across the board.
If you love Japanese treats, bentos, and bubble tea, you absolutely need to try Mochick Tea. You’ll be hooked!“

“10/10 everything. I went here with my girlfriend and her sister and as soon as we left she wanted to go back. The food was amazing, honestly some of the best Korean food i've ever had, the customer service was great, they made me feel welcome and they were kind. This restaurant is really a 10/10 and I recommend it to everyone who wants to try some Korean to-go snacks.“

“I’ve never actually eaten inside Slow Loris, but it’s become one of my most reliable spots in Flatbush for takeout and delivery. What I like the most about this Japanese-Korean fusion restaurant is that you can order something different every time and still be happy with what shows up. Consistency is the key word here.
Over multiple orders, I’ve tried a wide range of dishes: Cream Cheese Roll, Japanese Ramen, Korean Ramen, J-Bao, Kani Salad, Bi Bim Bap, Shrimp and Potato, Bulgogi Fried Rice, and Chicken Katsu. Some are stronger than others, but nothing’s been disappointing.
The Bulgogi Fried Rice is my go-to—it’s hearty, flavorful, and consistently satisfying. The beef has that perfect sweet-savory balance, and the seasoning runs through every bite. The J-Bao are dangerously easy to demolish: soft, fluffy buns with rich, flavorful fillings. The Chicken Katsu travels surprisingly well, staying crispy even after delivery, which is no small feat. When I’m in the mood for sushi without overthinking it, the Cream Cheese Roll always hits the spot, and the Kani Salad makes a nice, refreshing side.
Both ramens are comforting and flavorful, though like most takeout ramen, they can’t quite match the dine-in version—heat and texture are just tough to preserve in transit.
Delivery can take a while, especially on busy nights—I’ve waited around 45 minutes at times—but the food quality makes up for it. The menu is huge, which is great if you like variety but tough if you’re indecisive. Still, it’s impressive how consistently good everything tastes, even after travel.
Slow Loris is one of those neighborhood spots that quietly gets everything right. The portions are generous, the flavors are bold, and the fusion of Japanese and Korean dishes feels natural rather than forced. It’s comfort food done well, perfect for a cozy night in.
Order ahead if you’re getting delivery, try the J-Bao, and definitely don’t skip the Bulgogi Fried Rice and Bi Bim Bap.“
