First of all, it's gorgeous, so sunshine-y and green. We sat at the bar and the service was great. We ordered the cantaloupe slushies and they were so, so good! They weren't overly strong + they mix them themselves, just a few ingredients. The guac was a little small but delicious. The pork tacos were pretty expensive for 2, I thought, until I tasted them. WOW, so good. We were so busy catching up, we didn't realize they'd closed to get ready for dinner. They emphasized we hadn't overstayed our welcome, we could stay as long as we needed.
And the disco-themed restroom + playlist? Excellente“

Tostada de atun was mouth watering, fresh, flavorful and my personal favorite of the night but a tough 2nd pick was the branzino we order which comes with a nice pineapple salsa. The fish was cooked perfectly and also so fresh.

“this corner spot caught our eye at around 9 on a thursday with it’s red glow & cute sunken dining room that is visible from the street. the ambiance - warm and cozy. the service - quick and very personable. the bartender is awesome. the food & drink - perfect. got the spiked horchata drink n a birria res gordita, both amazing and still thinking about… ***the best fresh masa/tortillas pressed right before serving - all within view from the bar - dinner n a show. literally can’t say enough good things. excited to come back. :)“

“This is delicious Crown Heights street food. Open late if your ambling home from a bar and need some filling food to put you to bed. Or in our case, wanting a Sunday night 10pm taco after driving 8 hours. We had tacos al pastor and birrierria - EXCELLENT. Fresh little double corn tortilla tacos with the radish and lime. Also, excellent sauces. Loved the green hot sauce.“

“Let me emphasize this, NOBODY and I do mean NOBODY, makes a delicious bowl the way Tacobees do. I live far and order with extra charges through Ubereats because it’s just that good and worth every penny. I get burritos the size of a tiny baby. I should know because I’ve had tiny humans before and those burritos are at least 2lbs or more lol.

The way the burritos and bowls are made, is just so good. They don’t skimp out on anything. It’ll be full to the absolute brim. Their queso and guac is hands down the best out of all other chains (Chipotle, Moe’s and Qdoba.) The steak and honey chicken is just chefs kiss. I love how my delivery is also always warm and the most important part, correct. They just get me and can take my check any weekend!“

“This location is now under new ownership. They don’t have food at the moment but I think you can bring food in. I had my 50th birthday party here & the space was great for a party of 25-30. The new 5 diamond pool tables were a great addition! The lighting needs some work for playing pool but overall the tables are pristine & play really nice. They had a few good drink specials but some folks found the prices high for the top shelf cocktails. The bartender Sean was great & took good care of our whole group.“

“JaJaJa is an absolute game-changer! I’m not vegan, but I was genuinely amazed by how incredible the food tasted. You’d never know it wasn’t your traditional Mexican fare.

We just walked in without a reservation around 4pm on a Sunday – super convenient! The vibe inside is fun and cozy, making it a great spot to chill and enjoy a meal.

The service? Top-notch. The servers knew their stuff and were really friendly, which always makes a difference.

Now, onto the food! I dove right in and completely forgot to snap pics (we were starving!). But trust me, the chimichanga is something you don’t want to miss. Crispy, flavorful, just perfect.

And let’s not forget the hot sauces! They're a must-try, and you can even buy them to spice up your meals at home. At just $5 a bottle, it’s a steal!

“Hidden gem! Found this spot thru Vinny Eat World on YouTube and 10/10 will be recommending to everyone and everyone. Had chorizo and carnitas tacos, and a Al pastor quesadilla, alongside a frozen margarita. The salsas didn’t disappoint either, with the hot oil stealing the show. Server said it typically goes with soups but it was 🔥 on the tacos too. Don’t get it delivered, the tacos are handmade to order and so to do them justice you need to get them hot off the grill. Best tacos in sunset park, hands down.“

“I know some people may argue with me, but you can tell a lot about a taco place by how well they make a chicken taco. Hear me out! Pork and beef are hard to mess up because of all the animal proteins available, they require the least amount of help to taste good. On the other hand, chicken needs a lot of it. It can either be too bland or too dry, but these tacos are juicy perfection! I don’t have a single note about them. The oyster mushroom tacos were even better! Vegetarian taco options are another true test of a taqueria and these have a smokiness that will not allow you to leave single piece behind on your plate. I ate these two, and order another set before I decided it was time to call it a night. I’ll be back for more.

“Mixed bag. Mainly writing this to inform whoever it may concern that they're bizarrely stingy with rice. I ordered the special, which arguably was a super deal, but the rice portion was like barely half a portion. They asked me kindly to move soon after I had started my meal bc a large family had arrived and I put up no complaint. They could have comped me a extra side of rice but they charged me. I guess i could have pleaded my case but i support local. Blah blah blah single people have no rights ok done.

“A favorite neighborhood spot. Love their mole sauce. The ‘to go’ order of enchiladas usually lasts me 2 meals. If you visit with 3+ people the Margarita pitcher is a great deal, margs do come from the machine so not the best ever but great price + good times def recommend! Guac is super fresh

After reading some other reviews - service can be a bit slow if you show up right when it’s busy, maybe skip if in a big rush. Or just grab some salsa and chill. I love the staff. Re: being bland, maybe rice+beans but I eat them with lettuce,tomato,sour cream, love them. Mole is bomb. Guac can take extra seasoning depending on your taste, but still so good. Get a queso fundido to go with it. Good homemade chips+salsa.

Last tip : if you do get takeout and you eat sour cream, skip the side of sour cream there and go to Acatlán De Osorio bodega down the street and get a big la crema for $6 👌“

Order at the counter and wait for your order in the garage. Food was pretty good, less expensive than others, good portion. For the taste, we preferred Tacombi (see other review) but price quality/ratio is unbeatable.

Service was minimal.

My friend is vegetarian so we got the veggie nachos and they were loaded up with delicious roasted veg. I cannot stress enough how dang good this burrito was.“
