“Whewwwwweee did I enjoy myself!

First of all, it's gorgeous, so sunshine-y and green. We sat at the bar and the service was great. We ordered the cantaloupe slushies and they were so, so good! They weren't overly strong + they mix them themselves, just a few ingredients. The guac was a little small but delicious. The pork tacos were pretty expensive for 2, I thought, until I tasted them. WOW, so good. We were so busy catching up, we didn't realize they'd closed to get ready for dinner. They emphasized we hadn't overstayed our welcome, we could stay as long as we needed.
And the disco-themed restroom + playlist? Excellente“

“If I could eat here for every meal I would-the cocktails, tacos, brunch-everything is pretty good! I walked 30 mins for their Gordita😋extra points for being completely celiac safe it is very pricey though and the quality has lowered a bit since I lived there“

“Small but fresh menu made it perfect for making decisions and also means the food SHOULD be great across the board and they did not let us down.

Calm atmosphere was perfect for intimate gatherings and a focus attention on your party.

Tostada de atun was mouth watering, fresh, flavorful and my personal favorite of the night but a tough 2nd pick was the branzino we order which comes with a nice pineapple salsa. The fish was cooked perfectly and also so fresh.

Everything here is fresh and packed with flavor, perfect for hot summer night, light dinners, or parties with friends.“

“We had our wedding dinner at Panzon-- and it rocked! Could not be happier with how it turned out.

We did a full venue rental and held a cocktail hour followed by family style dinner. David, the owner, was super responsive and helpful planning the menu and event. Staff, service, and food were amazing the whole night. Big recommend!“

The ambiance is cool.btje bright walls give it a festive vibe however during the summer there isn't much difference between inside or outside seating. By the time we left our table from inside, our clothes were sticking to our bodies. It's a sauna that with fans that blow hot air with a one working bathroom. Other than that I was satisfied.“

“Run, don't walk! Visiting from the Hudson Valley for a day trip, and my wife & I are foodies. With a hungry 10 year old tyrant in tow, we took our son to the park across the street and killed an hour before wearily stumbling into Miatzil.

First off, on a Tuesday to be dead at 6pm is a crime! The Happy Hour here exceeds anything I've ever seen. $18 for 4 tacos & a cocktail (1 of 3 choices.)

The service is friendly & attentive, the food is wonderful & the spice level is up there with some of my favorite Oaxacan venues down in Mexico.

This hidden gem in plain sight deserves all of the love from the Park Slope community.

“I live in Park Slope and for the first time, my husband and went to Alma Negra.
We had a great experience, from the moment we got there the waitress Ashley was so attentive and friendly. We had questions about the menu, she very patiently and with excellent customer service skills, answered all our questions. Her recommendations were excellent!

“Best birria tacos out there. Amazing consome. Two tacos each and we split a (large?) consome. Reasonably priced - I can’t imagine much else in the area is as affordable. Took about 20 mins after ordering, but we didn’t mind. The guys working the line were putting in overtime. Take out orders continuously pumped out to a never ending revolving door of doordashers. Pretty loud and chaotic but that was part of the fun of it. A few small tables and a small bar-style counter to sit at. Looked like a small market in the store as well. 10/10“

I was at a bar in Greenpoint, and locals told the tacos were the best in the area! I had to try.

“This is delicious Crown Heights street food. Open late if your ambling home from a bar and need some filling food to put you to bed. Or in our case, wanting a Sunday night 10pm taco after driving 8 hours. We had tacos al pastor and birrierria - EXCELLENT. Fresh little double corn tortilla tacos with the radish and lime. Also, excellent sauces. Loved the green hot sauce.“

“Let me emphasize this, NOBODY and I do mean NOBODY, makes a delicious bowl the way Tacobees do. I live far and order with extra charges through Ubereats because it’s just that good and worth every penny. I get burritos the size of a tiny baby. I should know because I’ve had tiny humans before and those burritos are at least 2lbs or more lol.

The way the burritos and bowls are made, is just so good. They don’t skimp out on anything. It’ll be full to the absolute brim. Their queso and guac is hands down the best out of all other chains (Chipotle, Moe’s and Qdoba.) The steak and honey chicken is just chefs kiss. I love how my delivery is also always warm and the most important part, correct. They just get me and can take my check any weekend!“

“We came here after my wife’s aunt just passed away and she was about to head home to put down her childhood dog. Server saw her crying and started feeding us shots and didnt charge us for them. Servers are people and they understood our general sadness. 11/10 would come back again just because the service was great, not because of the few free shots.

My partner didn’t love the chorizo burrito, but he’s not a fan of wet burritos. It’s nice to know you had a lot of protein after a big meal. Also the atmosphere is the best. Very cozy. “Was skeptical about this place at first because I didn't want to pay $5 for one fish taco (shame on me) BUT after tasting it... I was hooked! Especially since they use cod and not tilapia like other places do.
The establishment is authentic and the food tastes like it with really reasonable prices and great food. Now fyi the guac and churros aren't the best by themselves. You should order the guac mixed in and the churros.. I don't know what to advise on that one but hey you might like it.. idk
The agua frescas are delicious especially the watermelon when in season.
I can definitely say try them for that quick casual local neighborhood spot that will satisfy your cravings for Mexican food. ❤️“

“Came in on a Friday at noon - the interior was welcoming and clean. I ordered the La Callejera and it was delicious! Service was quick and very nice. Portion was big for me - ended up eating half and will be eating other half for dinner. Would definitely come in again. Order total was about 21 for the torta and a Mexican coke.“

“This is the best Mezcal bar I’ve ever been to. The bartenders, especially Eddie, are the best and SO knowledgeable. The cocktails are absolutely insanely delicious - you should trust the bartender. “Hidden gem! Found this spot thru Vinny Eat World on YouTube and 10/10 will be recommending to everyone and everyone. Had chorizo and carnitas tacos, and a Al pastor quesadilla, alongside a frozen margarita. The salsas didn’t disappoint either, with the hot oil stealing the show. Server said it typically goes with soups but it was 🔥 on the tacos too. Don’t get it delivered, the tacos are handmade to order and so to do them justice you need to get them hot off the grill. “Fonda for as far I can remember my times in Mexico visits bring me back to the authenticity of the flavors. Haven't been to the one in Park Slope in a long time, I have to say it was just as wonderful as all the other Fonda's I frequented. Had the Pollo de Mole was deep dark and spicy on point. Very, very tasty, my friend had the Burrito and thought it was one of the best she ever had. From the chips, red sauce, to guacamole all the flavors just danced in my palette. So many dishes to try, that's why I can going back when possible. FONDA PARK SLOPE is also a local favorite. Service was good, the restaurant was not super busy, I was glad to see the backyard opened.. their Msrgaritas are superb. Is a must gem to visit in this neighborhood.
