“Great take on Lu rou fan (minced pork and rice), excellent scallion pancakes and awesome dessert (Tian miantuan) that was like a sandwich of sweet fried dough, golden sesame ice cream and condensed milk (plus cilantro and butter dried peanuts)! Great beverages as well such as the slightly sweetened Jasmine iced tea and Sanzo (lychee & calamansi) sparkling water products!“

“Casual and homey spot. You order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. The dumplings come out saucy, juicy, and hot. Popcorn chicken's full of flavor and the winter melon tea was delicious, sweet and light. Good neighborhood lunch and dinner Taiwanese restaurant.“

The sesame balls here are so good!!! For catering we got veggie low mein, braised pork, bunch of different potstickers, sesame balls, and everything comes with cutlery if needed. They clearly label everything and the packaging is great because they seal all the containers so they don’t spill and the food came warm to eat. 👏🫶🤤

FYI there’s great catering here too! They offer delivery and have a great setup for any event. Will post pics of the catering if I can find them.“

“It’s so hard to find rice this granular and not all mushy in NYC, but this spot HITS.
What to order🍱The Fried Rice – Perfectly granular. Highly recommend trying out all the flavors they have to offer, no misses here.
🍢Mapo Tofu & Mushroom Fries – A solid side dish. The fries have a perfect crispy-to-chewy ratio.
🍹Kaoliang Cocktails – I knew I could trust this place when I found out they used Taiwanese sorghum as an ingredient in their cocktail. Very pro.

“Great food. Good seasoning with big enough portions for a guy. Rare case where I eat every dish in a bento. However this place is slow. Takes a while to bring out your food. Also the staff kids were being a disturbance. I get that asian places will keep their kids around the store and I get it’s sometimes necessary. However I’ve seen staff lids in asian places sit still and be quiet while here the kids ate constantly walking around and making high pitched young kid whining not yet full language kind of noise and it’s annoying.“

This used to be my favorite seasonal drink, and now it’s finally available all year round! The mango is super sweet, the pomelo adds the perfect citrus kick, and the strawberry ties everything together. If you see this on the menu, you HAVE to try it!“

“I’ve been coming here on the occasion for a few years now. It’s one of my favorite spots for food. It’s fast, affordable ($7-8 after tax), and tastes good. It’s not top notch food that makes me go “WOW!”, but it always warms my heart and soothes my soul whenever I’m exhausted or stressed.“

“This is a great spot for a date night or a meal with family. The complimentary appetizers are amazing. The fruit salad is sweet and juicy. The toasted butter bread is crispy, crunchy and full of buttery flavor. The drinks are sweet and fun and even come with a tiny ice animal on top.

The ribeye steak was so juicy, tender and full of flavor for a $30 price point. To add on the fine dining service, the waiter brings steak is brought out in display full of steam that my party go WOW every time we go. Outback Steakhouse has nothing on this place. I tried a runny sunny side up egg with spaghetti and it was creamy, comforting and delicious. At the end, little lollipops are given with the bill, which is perfect for kids. The restaurant feels cozy and fancy at the same time, even in the bathroom.
