“Great take on Lu rou fan (minced pork and rice), excellent scallion pancakes and awesome dessert (Tian miantuan) that was like a sandwich of sweet fried dough, golden sesame ice cream and condensed milk (plus cilantro and butter dried peanuts)! Great beverages as well such as the slightly sweetened Jasmine iced tea and Sanzo (lychee & calamansi) sparkling water products!“

Winter melon boba was also pretty solid and tapioca was really soft. Winson could absolutely never. Space is gorgeous and homely with open-concept lunch tables and large bar area.“

The sesame balls here are so good!!! For catering we got veggie low mein, braised pork, bunch of different potstickers, sesame balls, and everything comes with cutlery if needed. They clearly label everything and the packaging is great because they seal all the containers so they don’t spill and the food came warm to eat. 👏🫶🤤

FYI there’s great catering here too! They offer delivery and have a great setup for any event. Will post pics of the catering if I can find them.“

“Authentic Taiwanese fried rice. Visited this place a couple of times. Everything is absolutely delicious. Fried rice is comparable to DinTaiFung imo. Brought my parents here and it passed the test for them, so that's saying a lot.

They're also pretty consistent with food quality for takeout and delivery. I just wish they offered more hours.“

“Formosa was a hidden gem for us since we rarely hear people talking about it, which honestly makes it feel like a great little discovery. The space itself is cute and welcoming, and the food absolutely delivers.

We tried a few dishes and everything impressed. The dumplings were a great way to start the meal, and the beef noodle soup was rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. But the real showstopper was the scallion noodles. They were fresh, fragrant, and incredibly flavorful. One of those dishes where everyone at the table pauses for a second because it is that good.

There are so many tempting options on the menu that we already know we will be back soon to try more. I never expected to have great Taiwanese food this close by, but here we are.

If you go, definitely start with a small plate or dumplings before your main dish so you can sample a few things from the menu. This is the kind of place where sharing and trying a little of everything makes the experience even better. 🥟😋“

“Great food. Good seasoning with big enough portions for a guy. Rare case where I eat every dish in a bento. However this place is slow. Takes a while to bring out your food. Also the staff kids were being a disturbance. I get that asian places will keep their kids around the store and I get it’s sometimes necessary. However I’ve seen staff lids in asian places sit still and be quiet while here the kids ate constantly walking around and making high pitched young kid whining not yet full language kind of noise and it’s annoying.“

“Located inside Kings Plaza on the second floor, this is a good spot for some relatively inexpensive and okay chinese food/takeout. They have a self-service buffet in a overload-your-plate-one-time style. We ordered the kungpao chicken with rice, and stir fried noodles with a can of coke to share. They did not have diet coke, only regular. Portions were big for our appetites, we ended up bringing ⅔rds of the noodles back home with us.“

This used to be my favorite seasonal drink, and now it’s finally available all year round! The mango is super sweet, the pomelo adds the perfect citrus kick, and the strawberry ties everything together. If you see this on the menu, you HAVE to try it!“

“4/5 Special Rice Roll: the purple glutinous rice had such QQ chew, so satisfying! Personally for me the filling was a bit mayo heavy, and would have loved more pork floss. Very generous with the veggies tho!

This would make for a great small and compact lunch option, and love that they are made to order.“

“This is a great spot for a date night or a meal with family. The complimentary appetizers are amazing. The fruit salad is sweet and juicy. The toasted butter bread is crispy, crunchy and full of buttery flavor. The drinks are sweet and fun and even come with a tiny ice animal on top.

The ribeye steak was so juicy, tender and full of flavor for a $30 price point. To add on the fine dining service, the waiter brings steak is brought out in display full of steam that my party go WOW every time we go. Outback Steakhouse has nothing on this place. I tried a runny sunny side up egg with spaghetti and it was creamy, comforting and delicious. At the end, little lollipops are given with the bill, which is perfect for kids. The restaurant feels cozy and fancy at the same time, even in the bathroom.

If you love delicious, affordable food, fun drinks, and a classy atmosphere, you have to try this place!“
