“We had a quick stop over in Buffalo, and a Google search lead us to Angeline. What a great find that was. Starting with a creative cocktail, and finishing with Affogto, the meal was perfect. The restaurant is in a restored home with many if the original architecture still evident. The service was top notch, and seemed very well orchestrated. We shared a meal of mussels, buccatini cacio e pepe, and Utica greens.“

The menu is great with something for everyone and whatever you're in the mood for from flatbread pizza to homemade pasta with the most amazing sauces, delicious salads, fantastic steak and the freshest Italian desserts. if you can save room. We have to get them to go home. It's so hard to decide that we get several things and go family style sharing and going around the menu. bravo Nani in the meatballs! they are a must! great friendly service and beautiful atmosphere. sometimes the acoustic music in the bar. what a gem we love walking distance to the theater district, we try to go before shows and park and enjoy the evening starting with the best meal and drinks before a show downtown. “Chef’s is a true Buffalo gem for authentic Italian comfort food. From the moment we walked in, it felt like stepping back in time—in the best way. The atmosphere is rich with history, and the food absolutely delivers.

We started with the stuffed peppers, which were spicy, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick things off. For our mains, we had both the chicken parm and the eggplant parm—each one was generously portioned and packed with flavor. I tried the “double parm” with both chicken and spaghetti smothered in sauce and cheese. It was delicious, though next time I’d skip the parm on the pasta just for easier eating. Still, no complaints!

The house red wine was smooth and paired beautifully with the meal. And dessert? The cannoli was spot-on—crispy shell, creamy filling, just sweet enough.

Jayme, our server, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and even packed up our leftovers with care. Portions are hearty, so next time we’ll likely split a dinner if we’re ordering apps again.

“What a great restaurant!! The food was phenomenal! I had my birthday dinner at Bella Ciao and I was very impressed. The Lobster Mafalde was loaded with lobster and so delicious. The Rice Balls were out of this world. The Peanut Butter pie was the best I ever had. Also, Casey, the Manager was so accommodating and personable. She just couldn't do enough for us. Not a big pesto fan and the dish came in a bath of creamy green with an odd looking chutney of sorts on top. The green was a fantastic pesto tinged super flavorful sauce and the topping was a grand mix of sweet, savory and nut crunch, a fantastic meal.“

“By far the best place to get food on campus, if you love pasta and paninis go here. It's a good option for choosing between healthy or unhealthy food depending on what you create. Ordering is only done through the mobile GET app no other way to get food. Ordering here can be hard, must order during 15 minute interval times. For example if it's 1:26pm the next time they start a new ordering interval is 1:30pm then 1:45pm. People love this place so plan ahead. Paninis are good too for more of the unhealthy options.“

“I get my spaghetti from Mineo’s. It tastes great & comes with garlic bread & a large side salad. And, there’s enough spaghetti for two dinners. It’s the only place I get take out spaghetti from.“

Their chicken, stuffed mushrooms, and roast beef were cooked and seasoned to perfection. They have a lot of seafood options, clams and scalops too. “The Celtic Menu was planned for this week and a friend and I ordered the Seafood light cream soup and Fall salad with romaines, toasted hazelnuts, grilled orange slices,et cetera to start ! Each was so very delicious ! Before that we were given their complimentary amusebusce ( sp.? ) of their homegrown cherry tomatoes, flavored butter and asparagus. The breadbasket had Irish soda bread,and one other roll. My entree was two pieces of beautifully fried fish, and shoestring French fries,and Cole slaw. Best that I’ve ever had ! Another entree was a lamb pasty with vegetables. The crust was marvelous and the lamb gently seasoned. We could not resist the ‘pot pie’ on a light,crust with delicious vegetables. 2 desserts were offered but we must leave room for those on another visit ! The chef takes time to come out to the tables to check about the food,and the staff is VERY attentive . This was a wonderful experience, as every time we attend ! Treat yourself !“

“I flew to Buffalo to eat pizza for 3 days. Of all the photos I've seen of Buffalo pizza, the Wise Guys photos always looked the best. This was my first stop after I landed this morning and this was the pizza. When I first saw the thickness of the pepperoni, I thought it was going to be a little too thick for me but when I tasted it at the temperature they cooked it at; this is the perfect thickness for this char and this pizza. Jasmine told me she made it with pride for me. Pride? This thing was made by the gods on Mount Vesuvius! Bocce Club has a big hill to climb tomorrow.
