“loved the Pistachio cake from Luigi’s in Carmel so much that I ordered one for my mother’s 96th birthday. I was in Florida and couldn’t partake but my sister picked it up in Carmel and my mom, sister and family were able to enjoy it. There were 7 people at dinner and due to the size and height of the cake, you can see they barely made a dent (however it was completely gone within 2 days). Everyone was absolutely crazy about it and everyone sent me pictures and called to thank me. It’s a shame to even call it a cake because you naturally think of something you buy in a bakery. This is a whole different world. This cake is exquisite. The flavor is outstanding, it is extremely moist, it has a ton of filling and frosting but not that sickeningly sweet kind – this is all top notch ingredients and completely unique. I felt awful because I know I didn’t give Luigi’s much notice and I know his wife worked 14 hours the previous day baking. But I didn’t feel so guilty that it stopped me from ordering it and they were so gracious about helping me. As you can see in the pictures, the attention to detail, the edible flowers, the beauty of the cake made it a birthday present in and of itself. I just cannot thank Luigi and his awesome wife enough for helping to make my mom’s 96th birthday special.“

“The best Sicilian in Putnam County. Crunchy bottom, soft and tasty inside. My husband and I get a whole pie, it’s the best fresh out of the oven, we eat two or three slices in the restaurant and take home the rest, freeze for lunches. Bring a devoted Sicilian slice customer I ventured out to a salad, not any salad, their Asian salad. Cold crisp romaine lettuce, crispy chow mein noodles, sliced almonds and mandarin oranges, and the best Asian dressing. Really a very enjoyable salad. A great place for good food and great staff.“

“Mezzaluna restaurant is a great place to visit. I live in South Carolina and when my wife and I travel to NY we always visit Mezzaluna several times a week. The food and service is always excellent as is our usual waiter, Nick. He is great at his job, very friendly, observant, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The owner who we recently spoke with on the phone is very friendly and makes you feel welcome and special. If you are looking for a great place to dine in I highly recommend Mezzaluna Restaurant“

They are quick, often delivering faster than expected and the food is always great! If something is wrong they are happy and quick about making it right and they treat their customers so well and generously! I order delivery often and recently ordered catering last minute! “The food is always delicious. Whenever I order from the place I get so excited. The wings are delicious surprise or delicious although the mozzarella sticks the cheese is a little dry. Everything else is really good. Most of the time they’re on, but the longest they’ve been late is like 20 minutes. I recommend going here.“

“Just left a crazy Thursday night at IL Forno. What a fun and enjoyable evening we had. We walked in with no reservations and the manager snuck us right in and we even got to the listen to an amazing singer. We have been here a few times, this was by far the most fun we had. Everyone was laughing. The staff which seems to be plenty was having a good time. The manager and Owners kept walking around and making sure all was good and everyone was happy. There are so many great and delicious choices between the specialty pizza slices, salads, and pasta and chicken dishes. And is light on the salt, unlike the salt bombs at the most popular Italian restaurant nearby. The food is positively delicious. And their family meals are both delicious and a bargain. We had a last minute family get together, and ordered 5 family meals. It was a huge amount of food, and they had the entire order ready in 30 minutes. On a Saturday night!!!! I was a little lazy tonight and skipped better Pizza for ease of pickup on a rainy night.5 stars is not for the food, it is Domino's and while the food is as I expected, the fact that I didn't have time to turn my car off before my Pizza was delivered earns this location due respect.“

“I really enjoyed the food it was really amazing ?. The atmosphere was really great. The only thing that was a bit off was that it took an incredibly long amount of time for us to actually get our food. We got there at 6:15 and we didn't actually get our dinner until 8 and by that point I was beyond hungry because our party was so big the appetizers were not for a group that size. That being said the portion size of the food was HUGE! Definitely priced right ?. Everyone loved their food. Everyone had leftovers! I'm pretty sure if my friends made reservations EARLIER, possibly we would have had 2 waiters instead of just the one. If you have a big party, make reservations at least a week in advance. We were a party of 15 and they actually forgot one of my friends food and she sat there waiting for 5 minutes until they came over to put cheese on her ziti and she had no Ziti ?. They quickly recovered and got her a huge bowl of food but her meal was pretty simple, it didn't even have meat in it. The party of 15 I think was just too much. The other people dining looked like the service was pretty normal. Just ours too a while.“

At least it was very good. They also play god awful new country. It's brutal. I thought this was NY. Weird. Anyway. 4 stars for the friendly service and good food. Not five for the treacherous music and high prices.“
