“These guys make a specialty pizza they call a “San Gennaro” pie. It’s really good. But my mom likes the square-ish “Grandma’s” pies.

They were happy to make me a San Gennaro pizza, Grandma’s style, and let me tell you, it cranks. This pizza is so good. And it’s even the end of the feast of San Gennaro this week, so double sweet.“

“My kids love pizza but being originally from the Bronx we’re very picky about our pizza. Due to some health issues I have to limit carbs so I’ve been trying to find pizza with cauliflower crust. Mima’s offers a delicious cauliflower crust. I had a margarita pizza on a cauliflower crust. My kids had a hamburger, buffalo chicken pizza and pepperoni pizza the last time we went. “The best Sicilian in Putnam County. Crunchy bottom, soft and tasty inside. My husband and I get a whole pie, it’s the best fresh out of the oven, we eat two or three slices in the restaurant and take home the rest, freeze for lunches. Bring a devoted Sicilian slice customer I ventured out to a salad, not any salad, their Asian salad. Cold crisp romaine lettuce, crispy chow mein noodles, sliced almonds and mandarin oranges, and the best Asian dressing. Really a very enjoyable salad. A great place for good food and great staff.“

“Mezzaluna restaurant is a great place to visit. I live in South Carolina and when my wife and I travel to NY we always visit Mezzaluna several times a week. The food and service is always excellent as is our usual waiter, Nick. He is great at his job, very friendly, observant, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. “I can not say enough good things about Mike and Joe's! The staff is friendly and efficient, they learn their customers and always greet you warmly! They are quick, often delivering faster than expected and the food is always great! If something is wrong they are happy and quick about making it right and they treat their customers so well and generously! I order delivery often and recently ordered catering last minute! There are so many great and delicious choices between the specialty pizza slices, salads, and pasta and chicken dishes. “As far as take out goes Domino's has all others beat, with tracker you know exactly when your food will be ready and delivered to your car. I was a little lazy tonight and skipped better Pizza for ease of pickup on a rainy night.5 stars is not for the food, it is Domino's and while the food is as I expected, the fact that I didn't have time to turn my car off before my Pizza was delivered earns this location due respect.“

Drove up from the Bronx and even though it was enjoyable, I won't be going back. Why? Because I hate to be "nickel & dimed" ...I never question prices. I order what I want but when the check is upwards of $70 but I see I was charged for both cups of coffee, it's a turn-off! A little advice: let your customers be aware that there are no free refills on a cup of coffee instead of surprising them with a $10 charge for coffee. Good luck!“
