“Prices are good. Ice cream selection isn't the biggest but enough to find something you'll like. There was only two people working at the time we where there. It was pretty busy and a good size line. However it did move at a good pace. Lots of seating. I got the Caribbean Sunday. Pretty good.“

“This is the BEST sub shop, hands down. The atmosphere is fantastic and the employees actually care about their customers. They take the time to get to know them, as soon as you walk in as a regular, they know your order. They ask about your family and have really good conversation while you're there. To top it off they make incredible food. The subs are packed full of fresh ingredients and you most definitely get more than your money's worth. “We loved it here. We had just finished walking around Watkins’s Glen and we were starving! The waitress was the BEST. One of our 4 children lives off of chicken tenders and quesadillas and he voted their chicken tenders “the best I've ever had!” All 6 of us enjoyed our food. The cheese curds were amazing! Yum ?“

“Food was great. Wings are naked, not a ton of sauce. Chicken parm seems like chicken fingers with sauce and cheese. Wife got the chicken ceasar salad. Place was busy, service was great. Very friendly staff and owner. Ambiance-it's a dive bar. A really great one!“

“I am originally from the Southern Tier but left thirty years ago. While home for the holidays I asked who was serving up the best wings these days, Elbow Room or Bernie Murrays, I was surprised to hear both places have fallen and are hit or miss at best. A friend said, its a drive but try the Town Tavern so my wife and I went and found the pub, the atmosphere was ok, lots of people having fun. There was a GREAT BAND playing called Major Big Time and they really rocked the house and had people dancing and drinking up.We came for the wings and ordered, I got dozen with the house sauce and my wife was tempted by the Bacon Double Burger. After a short wait the food arrived and oh... my.... gawd..... the wings were absolutely HUGE and meaty (the Cincinnati area could learn a lesson or two here) and cooked to crispy perfection, the house sauce was amazingly good, not too sweet, not too hot but they found the spot right in the middle and it was absolutely delicious. My wife loved the double bacon burger, saying the patties were perfectly cooked and the bacon was exceptional.I highly recommend the Town Tavern, it is absolutely delicious food served with a smile. On my next trip to visit family, I know where I am going for a plate of wings.“

“Stopped in for breakfast. The place is awesome! I sat down at the counter and set my coffee cup down and the server asked right away if I wanted coffee in it. I ordered a Western Omelet which was huge and delicious. It is the quintessential diner.“

“My boyfriend and I stopped here driving through on a weekend trip. The service, food, and atmosphere were great. I had the blue cheeseburger, and he had the steakhouse burger. Both were terrific. “Good food and friendly staff. Some of our orders were mixed up, but they quickly fixed it for us. Prices are competitive and worth it. Chairs we had at our table had the centers fallen, so I left with a sore back. Otherwise an excellent place for dinner or late lunch.“

The menu is very straightforward but anything you order will not disappoint you. Kristin who was running the kitchen made it a point to clarify our order while making it and Tammy stayed on top of anything else we needed.
