“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!!! Their food tasted SO good and tasted like it was homemade food. It was made with so much love, and the food was so flavorful and seasoned. Every thing I got, hit. I got the curry chicken platter, and I cleaned my plate. The mint lemonade tasted so fresh and refreshing. The baklava was really good, as well. The customer service was excellent and so homey, as well!“

“My friend and I went to Miss Ada at 11am on a Saturday. My friend had been previously and requested a table in the back that has the outdoor feel without being pummeled by the cold. If you don't have a reservation, I recommend going close to 11am, as there was already a line at opening. The atmosphere has cute vibes, but nothing outstanding.
We ordered the Lamb Shawarma Hummus ($18) and the Israeli Breakfast ($15). These came with a side of warm pita, which was warm and fluffy, though I would argue it was not enough for both of the dishes. The lamb shawarma hummus was fantastic, and I would highly recommend it. The lamb flavor completely elevated the hummus, and the combination of flavors was a knockout. I would pass on the Israeli breakfast as $15 was totally not worth it for a few greens, eggs, and dips that paled in comparison for the hummus. While the food was tasty, they advertise these as family style. I personally felt like it wasn't enough food to share, and if I'm paying $21 for my entire meal, I would prefer to leave feeling satisfied.
Regarding service, they provide a bottle of water that you can fill your cups with, and they replaced ours when it was low. The food also came out incredibly fast (less than 5 minutes?). Our server did one check-back but we were quickly in-and-out, so I cannot speak to a highly attentive level of service. Overall, I would return to try a different hummus and a more filling brunch entree.“

“Had some great dishes, but didn't earn the 5th star for me. Go for the seafood. Those are the best dishes. The lamb was very average and the kebonah looks better than it was. Service was great. Also, save room for the chocolate cake dessert. Simple but phenomenal.“

“I was craving some middle eastern/Mediterranean food and this place did not disappoint! A great selection and the ingredients are all very fresh with the shish kebab made upon ordering. I had the build your own bowl and highly recommend. To top it off, the staff is very friendly and warm, even asking how the food was after!“

“I am SO glad I found this place! The shrimp kebab seriously is divine, I think I developed an addiction. Also, they have happy hour every day until 7pm and their house wine is so good. The place is cozy and relaxing. On a recent Saturday night I was there for 4 hours... they never rush you, the staff is super friendly.“

“I’m a server at a restaurant in Prospect Heights. My guests have been talking about Hart’s every time I make a wine recommendation or ask them where they like to go. 7 months after first hearing about Hart’s, I was able to go on a night off. Not gonna lie, the service was impeccable; friendly; open concept kitchen and kindness. Elan was immediately approachable and the whole team took care of us immediately. We will definitely be coming back - and I’ll be sending my partner with his friends since he doesn’t have an industry job.“

“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

“I adore this restaurant. It's everything you could possibly want no matter the season. It's the best kept secret in the neighborhood, so consider yourself lucky to be getting this intel via this review. The ingredients are fresh, the service is warm, they go above and beyond. I took a guest from the other side of the world here, because I wanted to show them the best of New York, which is exactly what this place delivers.“

“We had a really terrific meal. Stuffed cabbage was very tender and flavorful, as was the kebab. We enjoyed dolma and zucchini pancakes. There were many gluten free choices - most of the menu in fact. Everything was delicious. The service was very attentive, polite and helpful. I'm looking forward to returning!
Dietary restrictions: Many gluten free options - almost the entire menu. Because it is not a dedicated gluten free restaurant, cross contamination is possible.“

“Excellent food and service. This is a special dining experience, a place we chose to follow a broadway matinee performance. The chef plays artfully with traditional Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavors and dishes. It’s expensive but worth it for an occasional nyc nights out experience.“

“I've lost track of how many times I've dined here, but I've loved every visit. Bringing friends and family for their first visit has become a trend, and Iris delivers every time on all fronts. The team is warm and welcoming - never fussy or overbearing; the cocktails are innovative and delicious - suiting any palate; and the food is a comforting delight. We never leave hungry, but we always want more. Until next time...“

“this place was very nice! very good food. My mom was a bit upset that the tomatoes 🍅 were not very good, they tasted like they were in the fridge for too long. Other than that, the falafels 🧆 were a 10/10. Everything else was also good. A bit pricey but still very nice place with quality food. 🥘“

“Food is great as always, but whats the point of downloading Cava app and making a pickup order when ill have to wait in the line and then the employee will start making my order, although i received a msg that my order is ready for pick up. I asked the employee about it and she said this is the website and that has nothing to do with how they do their work as Cava employees which was a strange response, it felt like the employee was so annoyed i even asked the question. Wait time was very short but im just reporting that the app is useless if this is the way the employees handle app requests from customers!!“

“Phenomenal birthday cake for my mom. Light yet not too airy, great natural flavors and perfect balance of icing and cake. Also, you don’t feel bad after eating it. It’s just sweet enough that it’s satisfying, yet it’s not overpowering at all.
The only thing more phenomenal than the cake is the owner, Melissa. A chat with her will make your day. She is a real one and a good soul. We’ve got to protect her at all costs!
Go to this bakery ASAP!“
