“I had the most amazing experience at Baskin Robbins on route 112 in Coram on 2/4/22. I called up to order a custom cake because the app wasn’t working. Alli answered my call and proceeded to help me find a cake for my granddaughter’s 13th birthday. I needed a vanilla cake with Oreo ice cream and there was none to be found. Only ones available had chocolate cake. Well, Alli took my phone number and started searching for the cake I needed. She called several places, including corporate office. She searched the additional freezer at her location. She was texting pictures of various cakes to me so I could decide which one I wanted. After all her hard work, she found the perfect cake!!! I thought she was the manager, but she’s not!! Alli went above and beyond to find me a cake!!! I am now a loyal Baskin-Robbins rt 112 customer!!!! Thank you Alli!!!!“

“I have to share an incredible story with you.. It’s long so please hang in there. One of my children had their tonsils out last Wednesday. I’m sure when this happens as a child it must be horrible, I know growing up so many of my friends had their tonsils out, but I was completely unprepared for how healing would be for my child who is an adult. The recovery has been so much more than any of us anticipated. For their recovery I was asked if I would bring up Blue Hawaii ice from Ralph’s. Off to the store we went, purchased a few half gallons and brought it on the trip with us as we met up with our child the day of surgery. 24 hours after surgery my baby was a mess, the pain was horrible, and the only thing helping was blue Hawaii ice from Ralph’s! I called the store and asked if there was a way to ship the ice to my child. The gentleman on the phone, who I now know as the owner of both the Selden Ralph’s and the Farmingville Locations immediately started to explain to me how we may be able to make that work. The next morning, after my child had already gone through a half gallon, I realized I had to try. When I called that day Pat took charge, not only did he do the research for what I needed, he got it all together for me. He even went so far as to tell me that if he couldn’t figure it out he would be willing to drive the 2.5-3 hours to bring it to them. (Let me add in my other child who is on the island with me was just diagnosed with a concussion, and needed me home so I was unable to be with my child who was recovering from surgery 😭) Pat went to UPS for me and picked up the right size box and the packaging I needed. Then he went on to get dry ice to make sure Blue Hawaii would survive the trip. While the local dry ice place wasn’t so kind, he then drove to Bay Shore to another reliable source who helped. (This was now taking up a ton of this mans time, a decision he made to help me to help my child feel better at no additional charge or perks for him. Without his help I would have never been able to figure this out or get it out that day) He packed the order and I had a friend meet up with him who would then take it to UPS for me to ship it out. So off the ice went on its journey. And it arrived 100% prefect to my child the next day. Yesterday I finally had the chance to meet the man who cared enough to go above and beyond for my family. He didn’t have to do this, there was nothing in it for him, he even gave her extra ice, and I honestly believe he would have taken the drive himself. I went back in to purchase yet another gallon and a half for my child who has not spoken since the surgery but when I FaceTimed them from his store yesterday they did so to thank this wonderful man blue tongue and all 😂. As I am now sitting on the ferry reflecting I needed to share this story with all of you. I am a big believer in being there for one another and what a random act of kindness can do and the impact it can have. This man could have just left it, he could have told me how to do it, and I could have attempted to stumble through while caring for my other child recovering at home yet he went the extra mile for my family. We already were huge fans of Ralph’s but they will now be our one and only stop. I hope if you have never given them a shot you will <3 and my child’s suggestion of course is try Blue Hawaii! I can’t wait to bring her more ice today!“

“Honestly came here on weds night. I got the Bronx burger , my wife made her own burger. The burger was delicious and so flavorful. I could literally eat this everyday. I’ll deff be back . Highly recommend if you’re craving a tasty burger .“

“Ice cream seems to be fresh all the time. The ice cream sandwiches are filled.Some of the carvels don't fill them all the way.. The Carvel on portion road have icicles in theirs. Also , the people that run the carvel on middle country road , are very friendly.“

“Carvel is classic. A nice, busy Carvel on William Floyd, on your way to the beach. They have all the basics Carvel has to offer. A nice staff and a clean Carvel. Nowhere to sit though. It's a take out and eat in your car Carvel, as usual.“

“McNulty is a great family place for ice cream. Located on the eastern north shore or long island, it has a calm atmosphere, quaint outside seating and offers a good selection of ice creams, toppings, and other treats. It's been in operation since 1992 and seems to continue to do well. It's settled amongst neighborhoods and likely has a decent local following from the nearby homes and small businesses.“

“This place is a hidden gem! Lovely family-owned business with an amazing selection and outstanding customer service! I love that the boxes come with so many more bars than you get in the supermarket!! Plus, you can find items here that you never see in the supermarkets!!“

“Simply cannot believe the negative reviews…I have been going here for years and I’m pleased with every experience. Probably upwards of 25-30 times since it’s been open.

Complaints about the prices? You control how much frozen yogurt and toppings go in your cup! It’s weighed! How about you take…less? Like, what?!

The owner is always lovely and efficient and the place is spotless. They seem to take so much pride in keeping it clean.

Will continue to patron this establishment and I absolutely recommend it.“

“A clean Carvel in a busy shopping 🛒🛍️ center. May I suggest putting a couple tables with chairs. Up front by the entrance and exit doors. You certainly have the room for it. Also offer soda 🥤 as well my daughter's and I would love to sit and relax in this Carvel. 🍨 🍦.“

“I stopped in for ice cream, and my card kept getting declined, despite there being plenty of money on it. I kept asking the girls to scan the card at the top of the POS machine, and they kept telling me they cannot scan the card until the card was entered into the machine three times. I have never encountered this before.I really think there is a mistake, because the scan option was implemented to protect consumers from having to enter or swipe their cards at a POS machine. I never scan my card at retail establishments anymore; I always scan my card at the top of the machine, and my payment is always accepted. I am never told I need to enter my card three times before scanning.It ends up some lovely woman paid for my ice cream anyway, which I am highly appreciative of.“

“Carvel in Middle island is the Best! I went to order a m&m cake for my son that is no longer made and they made it for me!! Came out better than I expected. They were very helpful and friendly . I highly recommend this location for you ice cream needs! I know I will be ordering from them again.

“A very charming shop. In town for work and decided to go for a treat. Banana cream ice and peanut butter and jelly ice were the best I’ve had. I’m a stickler with banana flavored items and it is most definitely made with fresh bananas without any artificial flavors or colors. The owner was very pleasant and answered all of our questions. Highly recommend to anyone in town or passing through! Bring cash-it’s absolutely worth it!“

“I go almost every Tuesday with my son for the BOGO sundaes. Place is somewhat clean and staff is friendly. They could maintain the eat in area better. They know me there so they always hook me up with nice portions. It is also a dunkin donut store so a Boston cream donut is usually a staple to order. The ice cream is always good and on Tuesday it is worth the price. When it is not BOGO it would be not worth the price of $15 for 2 sundaes. It is a bonding time with my son which is worth it no mater the cost.“
