“This place has very special food. It was delicious. The small plates were a delicious surprise how are cooked and served. We loved the different beef cuts we have tried. And the desserts were magic flavors. Every thing was very well presented and cocktails and mocktails were fantastic. Service was incredible as well. Definitely no complains at all. “First time dining here, it was a fairly busy Saturday night. The atmosphere is really unique with the old schoolhouse vibe! Very cool but it did get pretty loud as the evening progressed. “We had an issue recently with the take out service at Tullys in Fairmount which was a rare occurrence. The food is always consistent and service prompt. I felt it was important to share my experience with management as I knew it was not typical of this location. I was called by Allen the manager who had been a friendly face for years. He was very apologetic of the situation and appreciative of my feedback, he wanted to make it right and advised me to ask for him when we decided to dine in again. We went on a typical busy Friday night. We’ were greeted and almost immediately sat. Before our meals touched the table he came over to advise me that one of our meals was on him as a courtesy. Allen is an important part of the Tullys family and the Fairmount location. He is always friendly and cares that his customers leave satisfied. The food was nothing less than delicious, tenders and fries came out cooked perfectly and within 10 minutes of ordering. Great Job Allen and Fairmount Tullys team!“

“This is my second time coming to Craftsman and I can’t wait for number three. Last time I was with my father who doesn’t drink but we came in on a whim and sat at the bar for dinner. We had burgers, they were good, and I was very happy with the draft beer selection. Now I’m back, staying at the Craftsman Inn next door again but with a new group. Myself, my wife, my 2 year old, and 2 month old came in for dinner on a Saturday night. We were seated a few minutes earlier than our reservation and immediately greeted by our server. We fired a kids pizza for my big guy and it was out within 5 minutes and it was absolutely delicious. Everyone was so nice and helpful, they gave my big guy crayons which was a huge hit. The wife had the salmon, I ordered the steak flight, we shared a hot honey and pepperoni pizza while waiting for our main course. We’re from Long Island, we eat a lot of pizza, this thing was top notch. Main courses came, we were both extremely happy with our choices. The steak flight comes with 2 sides and I chose Brussel sprouts and the fingerling potatoes. The sprouts were unreal, the potatoes were good but I’d probably select something else next time. No complaints, just a preference. Drinks were and always are top notch, very happy!!!! Just wish it wasn’t 5 hours from home.“

“What a find in the Double Tree Hotel in East Syracuse, NY! We stopped for the night in East Syracuse on our way to Boston. We arrived late into the city and were looking for a place for a late-night meal. We lucked out with the find of the Season Tavern inside the Double Tree Hotel.Our first choice was the Salt City Smashed Burger. The burger arrived large with lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese on a Brioche Bun/Roll with fries. The burger was great and the presentation was very good.Our second choice was the Street-Style Fish Tacos. This treat arrived with Red Snapper, Napp slaw, Pico De Gallo, Cotija cheese, Chipotle Aioli, lime, and Cilantro. All of this was served on our choice of either flour or corn tortillas. We picked the flour tortillas. We had a choice of either a salad or chips as a side. We went with the salad. Just like the burger the tacos were great and the presentation was very good. We enjoyed our meals with glasses of wine which were appropriately priced.Once again, I wish Google would allow ½ stars. The Season Tavern is a solid 4 ½ stars. This was great bar food at a reasonable price. The service was over the top; thank you, Ms Kim! We don't travel this way much, but if we do, we will make sure we stop and dine at the Season Tavern. “We went to Logan's twice in the last couple if weeks. The food there is great. Despite the fact that the restaurant is short on staff, the staff they do have is phenomenal and always going an extra mile to accommodate their customers. We had a great brunch in Sunday despite a very long wait. Everyone enjoyed their food and our waitress was great! We will return.“

“Great place to eat in the late summer and fall . The view of the trees turning colors from the outside dining on the deck is BEAUTIFUL ! The food is okay , service not that good , but it’s worth it for the view alone . You get an amazing view overlooking the trees and the lake below from the deck . I was immediately charmed by the ambience– black shiny brick, big mirrors, and lots of green plants surrounded attractive seating– and hoped the food would measure up.

The pork chop was well-cooked and flavorful but even more delicious was the egg and fried rice that surrounded it. The presentation was lovely (see little flower!!!)

The bone marrow appetizer was delicious, assuming you enjoy Gorgonzola (I do)

The pasta’s size was shockingly generous, and it was creamy and flavorful. The Calabrian peppers definitely gave it a nice kick.

The Snicker’s cookie topped with ice cream was exactly what I wanted– straight-forward, simple, and nostalgic.

As for the drinks, I wasn’t drinking tonight but my friend ordered the [Not Your Mama’s] Amaretto Sour which featured an overproof rum and was absolutely insanely delicious. Would highly recommend.

“At Rosie's it's all about the friendship. It's a place where they treat you like family even when you're visiting from another state. I don't travel much, but when I do, I look for a local place where they appreciate me paying cash.

When I walked in, I was greeted with a rousing good morning from behind the bar. Tables surrounded this tiny place and the bar sat in the center. The aromas of deliciousness wafted through the air. I knew I was in the right place.

I picked up the menu and looked for their house specialty. Then I saw it. The sever carried out this plate of heaven to another patron. I HAD TO HAVE THAT! I don't even know what I ordered but the first bite was like nothing I'd ever experienced. It was some version of eggs benedict and I didn't ask what it was. Now, eggs benedict usually takes four bites per English muffin but this one took six. Each bit was as good as the first until. I admit, it was gone. The home fries were great but nothing to hop around about.

“I disagree 100 percent that the riggies here taste better than Utica. They simply don’t. The portion size was great, but the chicken was so cut way too small. The sauce just didn’t hit my taste buds the same. The cheese and seasoning on the saucer for bread is just odd. Not bad, just odd. My server never checked in to ask how my food was, but he did have a lot of tables. I probably would return and order something else. Overall, it’s worth checking out. They do seem to get very busy though. Parking can be limited.“
