“i’m here to tell you the hype is true. The burritos are so freaking good. The sauce is immaculate. I always ask for extra sauce. My favorite is the sausage burrito and the bacon. I usually get both and eat half-and-half and split it with my partner. lol

“The food at Home frite White plains it's delicious. It's not just another burger joint. They have amazing combinations of chicken sandwich and hot dog options. My favorite is their Chilli dogs called the dirt dogs. Absolutely delicious. Nashville hot chicken and their BBQ chicken is my next favorite and offcourse their burgers are always on point. Buttery, fresh ground beef and offcourse toasted brioche buns. My coworkers favorite lunch spot Home frite White plains!!“

“The food is really good. My go-to is the quinoa salad with grilled chicken or the grilled cheese with tomato soup. The salad is very refreshing and delicious and the grilled cheese with tomato soup just warms the soul. Their drinks will do what it needs to do lol. We finished the meal with a decadent slice of chocolate cake topped with a perfect swirl of frosting and a side of ice cream. It was a wonderful treat. I cannot wait to come back and try more of the menu.“

They have a lunch and breakfast menu and for a Monday, there were plenty of people going in and out - a sign that it's a great spot with locals.“

“Been many times before and all experiences have been great. This past weekend, I had an issue with inattentive service, extremely salty food (the LillGriddle Sandwich), and not the best experience. Drinks were great, however, everything took way too long and the food didn't deliver.“

“I first visited this restaurant when they opened in 2016. A decade later, I happened to be visiting the area and stopped off here for lunch with my boyfriend. I can honestly say this place hasn't lost their touch.
The restaurant is dark and cozy with a fireplace in the back, making it a perfect spot for a romantic dinner or nice lunch. The servers are all well-versed in the menu items and oyster selection. The restaurant usually has some great specials that are always worth trying out.
This visit was somewhat brief so we only got mains. The special of the day was swordfish. They offer the option to choose your prep style so we each got the swordfish; I tried the lemon butter sauce and my boyfriend got the red pepper sauce. Both were perfectly prepared and delicious. We also shared a side of the grilled asparagus which was perfectly cooked.
A solid 10/10. Highly recommended for any foodies as this place also has some fantastic non-seafood options.“

“We came for a saturday brunch and it was nothing short of excellent. The manager greeted us and we had some drinks at the bar. The bartender gave us some great recommendations for the menu and the owner even came over to us and introduced himself which was very nice. We got the meatballs, rockshrimp and calamari, lobster guacamole, and burrata which were all incredible and great shareables for us. 5/5 and will definitely be back.“

For apps we had oysters- was really good but would love if they would add a mignonette. For my main course though the red snapper was FANTASTIC. And the chicken martini was also fantastic. We didn't stay for dessert but will certainly be back, the service was very kind and attentive. The ambiance was nice with the view of the fountain.“

“Slid in right before closing — not exactly the ideal way to walk into a wine bar. But the bartender welcomed us like we'd been regulars for years. That kind of warmth at the end of a long shift says a lot about a place.

I think they need to apply insecticide to all the drains and clean them thoroughly, and not to leave wet towels because that could attract them.“

Twice, recently, I dined at I'l Fresco with friends and family members; The words they used to describe Il Fresco were: -Fabulous - dinner was scrumptious -Phenomenal restaurant and staff -Tastiest sauce in the world - delicious hot bread out of the oven. -An Exceptional dining experience. -Amazing homemade tiramisu - wonderful desserts -Best meal ever - better than the meals I had while visiting Sorrento, Italy. From my cousin who went back to Belfast, Northern Ireland: I am keen to get back to visit again and hopefully we can visit the fantastic restaurant again, can't remember the name otherwise it would be getting a 5 star from me. The jerk chicken was perfectly seasoned, the curry goat was tender and flavorful, the fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and delicious, and the ackee and saltfish was authentic and well prepared. The Escovitch fish was outstanding, the rice and beans and spinach rice were cooked to perfection, the fried plantains were sweet and delicious, and the freshly steamed vegetables were the perfect complement to the meal.
