“The best word to describe this place is fusion. It combines Tibetan, Indian, Bhutanese, and Chinese flavors into delicious meals. The food has a great balance of all the best part of these cuisines.Try their Tibetan style cuisines like the Momo, the pork ribs, and the thin cut seasoned fries. Then try their Bhutanese ema datsi. Combine everything to create a unique sino-indo-Tibetan cuisine.10/10 would recommend.“

“Japanese Italian fusion? Something I obviously had to try!
I appreciate Kimika’s creative menu with plenty of vegetarian options. Our waitress Kara/Cara was so friendly and helpful. I started with a Spritz that I think could’ve used some more bubbles, but the flavors were on point. The food was good but I felt like there could’ve been a bit more flavor. We tried the Truffle Carbonara, Soy Butter Bigoli, and Eggplant Katsu - I think the Bigoli was my favorite (think elevated lo mien). For dessert, we tried the lava cake, matcha French toast (would get it with ice cream if I were to over come again) and the Nutella Bombolocini (very creative - think mochi stuffed with Nutella).
Overall, I loved the concept of Kimika and the service, but I think there could’ve been just a tad more flavor in some of our dishes. Definitely a place to try once!“

“My friends and I celebrated a birthday party with 12 guests and were completely blown away by the food and the hospitality. The duck, the trout, the skate, the beef longgasnia, the pork with pistachio-- everything was delicious. We did not want the night to end--Definitely our new favorite restaurant in all of NYC!“

“Holy smokes, I don’t think I’ve ever been to a restaurant where everything was so good! Genuinely shocked and just filled with happiness at every bite. Me and my partner got the fresh calamari, Thai spicy wings and beef stir fry noodles and also some oysters and gawd dam they were all good!!!!
This was my first time trying oysters and the flavor of everything just left me baffled. Usually I don’t think a spot is truly a 10/10 but this was above and beyond, super friendly and got free ice cream! Definitely will be coming back and if you read this far on my review then you should already know that you’re going to be coming here. I highly recommend everything here.“

“The food was exceptional. However, a lot of the items on the menu was not available. I understand it was probably due to the snowstorm we recently experienced causing delays with deliveries, so I didn't allow that to impact my rating. What was on the menu was delicious, I will be back!“

“This is a 2nd floor Japanese-Thai speakeasy in Alphabet City where the food menu leans toward Japan while the drinks are Thai-inspired with the menu designed by veteran NYC bartender and Phetchaboon native Sayparn. Her and her partners opened 11 Tigers in 2022 (year of the tiger which symbolizes success). The staff do an excellent job of mixing food and entertainment.“

“One of my favorite places now to eat Latino food now in NYC!!!! Visited mast week and had the Frito Mixto and ate every single yuca they had!!! Everything tasted fresh and hand made. Also got the rice and beans with the black pepper beef and chicharrón. My favorite was the black pepper beef. Was so soft and tender. The chicharrón was good but had a lot of fat (chicharrón always has fat lol) for me. The parts of meat were actually really good. For drinks we got the Pandan and it was delicious. Definitely one of the best drinks I’ve had in a while. Will surely pass and eat at this place if around!!! Btw they had Karaoke too if interested!“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with pleasant music that really enhances the overall vibe. Our servers, especially Jose, were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and truly welcoming. They checked in on us regularly and offered great recommendations. The excellent service and beautiful ambiance made the night especially enjoyable. It’s a perfect spot for a date night or a girls’ day out. I absolutely love their brunch hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and the live salsa music adds such a fun and lively touch. I’ve been here many times, and it’s easily one of my favorite restaurants. Highly recommend!“

“The food here is out of this world. Everything is so fresh, tasty, colorful, and delicious. The two sisters who run the place are very kind and again, love the food. Outside of Thailand, this is the best Thai food I've ever had in NYC!“

“Literally one the tastiest places I’ve been in NYC and I’ve been plenty of times and have had a lot of food. The potion size was amazing and the flavors were on point. I still think of the rice to this day! Most certainly a must try.“

“I’m so happy to see how busy they are now! This has become my favorite Japanese restaurant on Bedford/Williamsburg—they truly have the best sushi in Williamsburg, better than sushi on Bedford Ave . If you’re in the neighborhood, this is definitely a spot you need to try. Highly recommended!“

“We had a great time eating hot pot here. The coconut chicken hot pot is delicious, and the service is also great. The staff helped us cook the chicken, distributed the soup to everyone, and even helped us pick chicken out when it’s in the best texture. The ingredients are also high quality. Highly recommend!“

“One of the best momo spots in town! I love their service. It’s a small, cozy place run by a husband-and-wife team, so things can be a bit on the slower side, but the food is always worth the wait.
Their fried rice, momo, and chow mein are my absolute favorites, and they even have some great Thai dishes that hit the spot every time.
Everything feels freshly made and full of flavor. A true hidden gem!“

“There was a shortage of staff when we arrived. The woman notified us that order would take longer than expected, but we got our order in less than 15 mins. She was very attentive.
We got a spicy sauce that was actually spicy. That’s very appreciated.“

“Brought my parents here when they visited from Missouri, as I live in the area. The servers were so kind and attentive. I have a gluten intolerance, but not full celiacs disease. They were very careful about cross contamination (which doesn’t seem to bother me) and which dishes are or could be made gluten free. Great authentic Thai food, offered along with new innovations. Will be coming back often!“

“Flight got cancelled last night and I was in need of Asian food. I had the ramen. The soup was comforting. The bamboo shoots were delicious. The noodles were a little undercooked to my liking, and the eggs were not marinated but well cooked. The seating area was comfortable and bright. Service was good.“

“A fully vegan Korean restaurant situated right in the heart of Manhattan?! My west coast heart is pounding in jealousy and longing to return once again. It's often very hard to find restaurants that serve fully vegan Korean food so the fact that this exists is truly special. A lot of items will be vegetarian at best so to be able to have an extensive menu to order from is a treat. My friends and I came here for lunch and were seated fairly quickly in their hip restaurant. I ordered a couple of things: - Combination Pancakes consisting of sweet corn cilantro, scallion & spicy kimchi offerings. This was their take on traditional Korean jeon and I didn't realize they'd bring out so many small pieces for the table. My favorite was definitely the sweet corn cilantro. - Crispy Korean Chili Tofu Lunch Special, which included a soup and salad of the day as well as two additional banchan (including a pancake!) The tofu was fried to sweet perfection and the chili sauce was top notch. There ended up being more than enough food just from this alone. I hope this spot sticks around because I'll certainly be coming back to fill my Korean cravings without needing to play around with the menu at other restaurants.
