“We came here around 4:00 PM and were surprised to be told there would be about a one-hour wait for a table for two without a reservation—even that early! 😄 Since we didn't want to wait, we decided to sit at the bar instead.

We ordered the salad, steak, cheeseburger, and chicken wings. The food was good, and we enjoyed everything we tried.

The staff were friendly and attentive, even though the restaurant was extremely busy. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend making a reservation if you plan to dine during busy hours.“

“The food I ordered was so good and well made, great size portion too. Helena was our server and constantly made sure our bottomless drinks were filled to our satisfaction, proactively took away plates and felt no worry in asking us if certain plate could be taken instead of assuming that some left meant we still wanted it, etc. I loved the social aspect of the service, it made it feel like a place I can go and be remembered / taken care of. “Visited on Wednesday night to celebrate mine and my husbands wedding that day and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by lovely friendly staff. We were seated quickly and were introduced to our server. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was fantastic. We opted for the Korean bacon to start and we both had the butchers feast. My mom and I were celebrating a joint birthday dinner and trip, and the staff was super attentive, kind, and open with recommendations for us. The even brought out sparklers and sang to us, which was so beautifully over the top but still clearly from the heart. I can’t remember her name for the life of me, but our beautiful kind and perfect server will literally hold a place in my soul forever.

“I like the 22nd street location better. The steak wasn’t as good nor do they give you the same amount. Bartender at the bar served us open bottle beer which was warm on top of it. But the dining room service was exceptional. I like the atmosphere and ambience of this place more but I care about food so I won’t be coming back here unfortunately but will dine at the flatiron location for sure.“

We live over 2 hours away but knew we needed to eat good before the long drive back home. Listen… don’t walk, but RUN to this place! I ordered the Tomahawk steak and it came out perfectly. “Excellent is an understatement! We had an amazing experience at Empire Steakhouse. Armin was an exceptional server: attentive, welcoming, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal.

We ordered the Porterhouse Steak for Two, and it was absolutely incredible. Perfectly cooked, tender, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the dinner. We also started with the grilled octopus, which was an excellent appetizer and a great way to begin the meal.

From the food to the service, everything exceeded our expectations. Armin truly made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend Empire Steakhouse, and we will definitely be back!“

“Delicious! Hubby and I celebrated our 13th anniversary here after seeing a Stranger Things matinee. Everything is exceptional - from the vibe to the presentation to the food to the service. I had the second level of dirty martini - it was perfect. We shared all the recommended dishes and were not disappointed. The wagyu cheesesteak bites were incredible - best part of the night. Short rib croquettes were phenomenal. Mac and cheese was delicious, although a little more watery than i prefer. My husband had the wagyu burger which he loved. We shared the crispy rice tuna bites - those were the only thing I didn’t absolutely love and i think it’s just a personal taste preference. They gave us the best seat in the house, complimentary champagne and absolutely delicious chocolate cookies for dessert. I’m recommending this restaurant to everyone for any pre-or-post-theatre dining - they have a price fixe menu for the 4-6pm crowd that i plan to try next time. PERFECT EXPERIENCE.“
