Chef owners husband and wife duo Tony and Louie do it right on every level. Exceptional, interesting, and well executed food offerings married with attentive unfussy service. They offer you a seat in their home, one you’re happy to come back to time and time again. Hosted back to back 10+ parties for friends of ours who are expecting, and both events knocked it out of the park. Great food, great value, great vibes, and great service. Makes sense with their combined experience in the food world. I really can’t think of another restaurant around that makes you want to come back the second you put your fork down and I mean that with sincerity.“

“What a delightful place to host a party! The outdoor patio is enclosed just in case of inclement weather. The view is spectacular, right on the golf course. Food is delicious and the people working there are so accommodating and easy to work with. We hosted a party for 75+ people and it was fantastic!!!“

“Slid in right before closing — not exactly the ideal way to walk into a wine bar. But the bartender welcomed us like we'd been regulars for years. That kind of warmth at the end of a long shift says a lot about a place.
The wine was excellent. Exactly what you want from a spot like this — well-curated, well-poured, no complaints.
Didn't get to try the food this time but it's already on the list for next visit. If the kitchen matches the hospitality, this place is going to be a regular stop.

“The experience was great thanks to Jeff. I needed help finding a macallan lumina whiskey which is hard to find unless it was on a cruise or duty-free shop. The process was easy by calling in to see if they have it in stock and to order it. They packaged it nicely and had no problem picking it up a month after the purchase. Thank you again and I will be coming back to purchase another limited find.“

“Great find in Scarsdale! Cutest little spot that transports you to a restaurant in the Mediterranean/Italy. Small, well appointed trattoria style restaurant. Warm, friendly service. Great natural light.

This is the place for those perfect aperol spritzies & fresh food. Fresh bread & imported olive oil served to start. We then ordered the Mediterranea Salad which was so refreshing: tomatoes, red peppers, cucumber, red onion, feta & light lemon dressing - great start. Margherita pizza & the Chicken Parm were both outstanding. Pizza is the perfect size, light but crispy with san marzano tomatoes, mozzarella fior di latte, evoo & basil. The Chicken Parm is understated, but hits all the marks - chicken pounded thin, crispy breading, tangy sauce & fresh parm.

Same owner as Cafe Alaia, which we're trying next, but this spot is already heavy in our rotation from now on.

“Tarry Tavern for dinner: Mom had Seared maine sea scallops with local corn and leek risotto and I got the roasted Hudson valley duck breast with pecan cranberry wild rice and sunchoke purée. Unreal. Mom cleaned her plate at a restaurant for the first time in ages and mine was to die for. We shared the pumpkin pecan bread pudding for dessert. “Had lunch with two others a little past the midday rush hour so there were only a few tables occupied. Oddly, we could hardly have a conversation because the “music” was so loud and intrusive. Ambient music should be in the background not so loud that it is hard for patrons to have a conversation.“

“We took my husband and dad out for Father's Day looking for a wonderful time. With any holiday you know it's going to be busy and we anticipated some wait of course. Boy we were left more than disappointed with the overall experience with this restaurant. We had a reservation on the deck, but after being initially seated inside, my husband mentioned the outside status and we were gruffly seated to an outside table. The menu looked delish and we ordered some mimosas which the waiter said came with the specials. We got the drinks right away but had to flag down our waiter to place our breakfast order. Everyone around us got bread and olives and when I asked if we were getting it he said it just for lunch, but it was brunch! Everyone around us who came before us is getting their meals and we are just sitting there. We didn't get our food until over an hour later and mine and my dad's order was incorrect. When I got up to mention this and speak to the manager, to add insult to injury the manager can't show his face, he sends another waiter to talk to us. The waiter apologizes on his behalf and says that in order to make us happy we will be comped for my dad's and my meal. We say thank you and tell him we feel horrible he was to be put in this position. We get up to use the bathroom and get things going with the check and the waiter hands me the bill. The manager is standing right there. I see that there is a charge for the Mimosas. At this point I am really upset and I say "You said that they were included". The manager then rudely gets in my face and says "No, no, no. The drinks are Not included today". I tell him that the waiter told me so and he says no again. I then give him a piece of my mind of the whole experience and how it put a damper on the whole day. To this he curtly says " We are busy today miss, good day". This place has the potential to be excellent with the right manager and staff. To be disrespectful this way and then on Father's Day to boot was downright awful. Be a man and own up to making a mistake, don't send another employee to make things right.“
