“Great spot for dinner, open after midnight. Skewers are all great. Love the scallop appetizer the most though. Chicken skin and beef brisket is a must. The alcoholic drinks are good but the non alcoholic drinks are just ok - watermelon juice was not good in my opinion, so watery and seemed like it had been frozen for a long time. Love coming here and getting a bunch of different skewers!“

“My partner and I love cafe mado and have previously dined here but not in a minute.
Place de fetes was truly a 10/10 experience. They are so creative and seasonally aligned. The menu is delicious and exciting.
The service is wonderful and kind.
If you can, come here, order a lot and enjoy the nice vibes“

“Neighborhood gem. Great decor, homey, comfortable but well appointed. I have dined here alone and with family, both times it was a good atmosphere. GM Michael is really good and runs a good staff. The food is delicious- good for all types of diet restrictions. Fresh ingredients well prepared. Last but not least also great cocktails. Host and server were friendly and attentive. I will for sure be coming back here!“

“We had a wonderful experience at Musette celebrating my husband’s birthday! They were very accommodating for our group of six, but I strongly recommend making a reservation! The evening felt easy and enjoyable from start to finish. The wine flights were excellent and a fun way to try a variety of options. Both the Musette flatbread and the salmon flatbread were absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. On top of that, the service was fast, friendly, and attentive, which really made the night special. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you Musette Team!“
“With Others has been my favorite wine bar in NYC for quite some time. I love stopping in with a few friends for a glass or bottle of wine and some snacks, or booking their Sunday wine school for a fun weekend adventure. I hosted a birthday party in the backyard a few weeks ago. Everything was perfectly handled! Lauren and the staff helped me pre-order wine and food and kept everything running smoothly. Would highly recommend for parties!“

“Went for brunch. Good food but not great, pricey, with slightly over salted ham in the Croque Madame for my liking. We had a reservation for 4 but that changed to 6. They really couldn't accommodate that change, but it was last minute so I don't hold that against them. Very busy place with lots of energy.“

“I had a really thoughtful and lovely experience here. We were celebrating a birthday and the team - starting with the door guy and then to the lead/captain, whatever they call it. They made sure to help us out in any way possible and I was fully ready to have a typical ny experience, where they just have no patience for groups. Thank you for all of your true and genuine hospitality! <3“

“Cutest little neighborhood wine bar! The staff is very knowledgeable about all the wines they have available. (Shoutout to Austin and Tiffany.)
My friend and I stopped in on a Monday night after dinner. They let us try several different wines in order to make our selection.
Very intimate/cozy vibes and reasonable prices. Would be a great place for a date night!“

“Great small and quaint bar next to the 7 line this was like my fourth time frequenting this wine bar. The bar itself is very cozy and with unique decor. Besides serving many wines they have cocktails with unique names and beers. We were there for happy hour and had wine with a spread. We also ordered a charcuterie plate. We enjoyed playing a card game and stayed until the jazz performers played their numbers. We really enjoyed our night.“

“Lovely place. We got the 5-course prix fixe, which let us sample lots of different dishes. Everything was interesting and delicious. The staff was so lovely, personable and warm. I won't lie, in these days of hard budgets, this will be a splurge for many (we went with the help of a gift card!). With tip, it came to about $250...that's a lot for two people. Was it worth it? Yes!! But is that kind of expenditure hard for many right now? Also yes. Still, I am so glad we went, and I am thankful to the staff for the great food and service. This place is terrific for a special occasion.“
“The food at Bar Bira was absolutely delicious! everything we ordered was packed with flavor. Service was great, friendly, attentive, and helpful without being pushy. I’m not a wine expert, but the staff did a great job guiding us to something we liked, which I appreciate it.“

“This place feels like coming home to your favorite cozy spot that always hits just right. I've been here for date nights and catching up w friends- a perfect place for both. It's such an ideal NYC neighborhood hangout- the food is ALWAYS outstanding, and the ambience (think cool jazz tunes, no tvs) is exactly what I need after a long overstimulated day.“

“We just hosted our (fairly large) baby shower at Commune this past weekend, and it was a truly positive experience. I’d wholeheartedly recommend Commune to anyone—from those looking for a relaxed evening with wine to those planning a beautiful gathering or celebration. The venue also hosts a range of thoughtful events centered around international food and music, which adds to its charm.
Dean and Vanessa, the owners, were incredible to work with—gracious, patient, accommodating, and genuinely kind. We wrapped up the day feeling deeply grateful and so happy we chose to celebrate at Commune. We wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you, Commune!“

“I had the pleasure of visiting Rhodora last night for the Critical Whimsy pop-up in the back room.
Laura-Sage not only provides incredible service, curated a welcoming and intentional vibe, but also is the brain behind Critical Whimsy, an incredible expression of unique and special ferments.
Laura Sage is a gift to this wine bar and anyone with the chance to catch another Critical Whimsy pop up should run, not walk.“
“My husband and I had a fantastic experience at Frog Wine Bar! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a casual night out or a special celebration. The wine selection is impressive, with something for every palate, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area — a hidden gem!“

“From the moment we walked in, to our exit the atmosphere was superb and the staff is attentive but not overly so. From appetizers to main course, thru dessert everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. A true 10 out of 10 experience!“
“This is a pretty interesting spot! It’s one part wine bar, one part restaurant, one part art studio and showroom - the wine is the star here imo, and it’s worth checking out for a drink and a little bite. The food is yummy for sure, but definitely felt too expensive for what it was and how much of it you get. I’m planning to go back for the wine!“
“I'm always on the hunt for tasty gluten-free pancakes...and Columns Wine Bar serves it for brekkie! I had the Buckwheat Griddle Cake with apples / honey caramel-like butter. The pancake was light and fluffy sweetened by the apple topping. I still poured syrup all over lol! Others in my party had the Bruleed French Toast which looked amazing, and the toast & scramble. We all fought over the very tasty Patatas Bravas. Needless to say, we were quite happily stuffed. Who knew a wine bar can deliver delicious breakfast!“
“A wine bar that somehow manages not to take itself too seriously. The staff are friendly and there are lots of fun wines to try. You see a lot of dates happening probably because it's so easy to chat here and the wines give you something to talk about but not in an uptight way.“

“What a sexy and inviting blues, folks music joint. All musicians are welcomed on Tuesdays from 8 to 1 to share their love of blues, jazz, folk music and to be yourself. Vegan hotdogs and a simple menu. A sexy and warm experience. I go there all the way from Rockaway Beach to Williamsburg.“

“Essential by Christophe, was an exsperience of simplicity meets elegance and delicasy. Front of house staff were fast, aware and effective. You could feel seen and taken Care of without being overlooked. Asking tricky questions regarding the food or technices used in the kitchen was no problem for the staff to answer. This was especially true when it came to our host Michael. The dinning room was nicely designed, in a Way that give you room for yourself. But you could still hear and feel the joy of the other guests around you when they enjoyed their food. The food, was perfect. Im not a poet but it felt like a love letter to cooking. I Got invested in to every single component on the dishes. You also got the feeling that chef Christophe loves the ocean, with 2 of the dishes being chosen as oyster and langoustine. And the 2 multiple choise dishes I decided on were the scallop with caviar and the turbot. If you have the time and money this is a must visit.“

“Been here a few times, both for meals and drinks. The outdoor space is across from Fort Greene park and is relatively quiet despite being on the street. The indoor space is more intimate and you’re seated very close to other patrons which makes it a bit noisier when the restaurant is busy. The food was delicious, we got a mix of the steak frites, French onion soup, and foie gras. They have an extensive wine menu, so it’s a great spot for casual drinks on a nice day too.“

“A group of us walked in at closing and were fully expecting to be (fairly) turned away. The bartender initially said they were done for the night but then he said he’d be willing to serve us one round. Really appreciate his generosity in letting us get that round even though I’m sure he was ready to wrap up and head home. Vanguard was a super cozy place to end the night and their sparkling rose is delicious! Will definitely be back“

“Juan at Cotto at the LGA terminal C location was very attentive while visiting the terminal on our way back home from our NYC visit. It’s the airport so it’s a little more than if you got it somewhere else but I was very happy with the meatball Parmesan and the wedge salad my wife and I got as well as the Long Island iced tea. It’s New York and is not Burger King and you get what you pay for. They were all very good here. Juan was able to happily accommodate getting a little side of extra marinara sauce for my wife’s sandwich. Was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend. Enjoyed our visit.“
“Such a beautiful place the staff there is so accommodating and sweet. The drinks and food are to die for.“
“The neighborhood was in need for this beautifully designed coffee and wine bar. It’s a great place to work during the day. At night, come for cozy wine bar vibes with delicious bites. We went to an oyster pop-up here last week, which was awesome. They’re also baby friendly. Great addition to LIC!“

“The place is a vibe. The atmosphere and esthetics is everything. It has a great vintage, cozy, bookstore mature feels with these bold eclectic open frames. Food is good. Well presented but lacks flavor. Where the food lacks in the drinks make up in style. Service is attentive but not amazing. Overall. Great time. Great vibes. Would recommend and go again for the feel, not the food.“
