“Came here for lunch with two friends. We all enjoyed ourselves and the food was very good. The only thing I would ask is that there should be a vegetarian bento box option. It was mildly annoying that I couldn't get any substitutes because I really do enjoy bento boxes.  However, there were other vegetarian options so all was not lost!“

“Asian Fortune' food is very good and when you order for delivery it always comes very fast. Only one time in all of the years we've been ordering food have they forgotten an eggroll. No big deal. Mistakes happen.. But the main reason I left 4 stars instead of 5 is because they do not do special requests. Ever. I normally order the pad tai. It always comes with the peanuts and sprouts on the side. One day, I wanted pad tai made with wide noodles instead of skinny noodles..and they said no. That was a few years ago. Tonight, I figured I'd try to see if they would make a special request. I ordered The pad kee mao, which is a spicy dish made with wide noodles.
I didnt ask them to change the dish..
I asked if they could give me a side of sprouts and chopped peanuts on the side(which id gladly pay for) so i can add them on to my pad kee mao myself. Nope. The girl said they have to make the dish the right way. Whatever that means. I didn't ask them to alter the dish. I asked to buy sprouts and chopped peanuts on the side.
Seems like such a simple request to make a customer happy..but apparently getting some peanuts and bean sprouts on the side is impossible to get. It's so weird...considering, we've been good customers for years i find it strange that they wouldnt do this. I mean, they will alter the spice level if you ask..they will leave out onions or mushrooms if you ask. But getting peanuts and sprouts on the side..absolutely not. Its such a small thing to say no to. And i dont get it. I wasn't asking them to alter the dish. I wanted a couple of tablespoons of peanuts and some bean sprouts on the side..which they always give on the with the regular pad tai which i was willing to pay for. Such a strange thing to say not to.“

Only with the Falsa advertisement of romantic music this Sunday at 7:30 my reservation was for 645 dinner for live music at 7:30 which one person showed up with the equipment. It was 9:30 PM and still waiting for the music to start on a Sunday night. Finally got up to leave but went up to the musician and told him that it’s was a lack of respect that, even though they were not many people there they still advertised that they were going to play while they were sitting around on the lounge area, not respecting that there were a few people there waiting for them to play as they were told that was starting at 7:30 Very disrespectful from their part so don’t go on Sunday When they say they have live music at 7:30, which is not gonna happen if it’s not a full place, so Forget a romantic evening on a Sunfay evening with this band oh they also said the singer has not arrived it was 9:45 when we left and they close at 11pm

“There is absolutely no monkey-ing around at Monkey King. From the moment you grasp the handle of the entry door, there is no way you won’t leave transformed. While being greeted by the oh so kind hostess, you are given a moment to truly embrace the aura of the space. Your eyes first gravitates to the immersive semi sunken bar surrounded by blissful golden barstools illuminated by soft light. As the hostess carefully walks you to your seat, you begin to feel the opulence of the decor melting away the stress of your day.
The journey truly begins once you scan the restaurant menu. There you will find an array of beautifully thought out cocktails, wines, and dishes that truly awakens one’s curiosity.
To begin our journey, my cousin and I thoroughly enjoyed the Char Siu and Scallion Pancakes to wet our palettes. Hannah, our server, patiently guided us through the cocktail options making superb recommendations. Our first round of cocktails included the Serpent’s Tale and the Immortal Peach. We then drooled over the Cumin Lamb Ribs and Roasted Duck- Fat Fried Rice. All dishes bringing us to euphoria. To close out, we ordered another round of cocktails that included the Heartbeet and Pandan Express. The cocktails were so incredible that I literally got out my seat and walked to our bartender, Thieanna, to give her applause.
Which, by the way she accepted with such humility. The craftsmanship of those cocktails surely deserves a spot on the 50 Best Bars in the World. And as someone who has been to five bars on the list within the last four months, the compliment comes with ease because they definitely belong on that list.
I want to express my gratitude to Thieanna, Hannah, Thom, De Cory, and Nana for such a superb dining experience. Little did they know that the warm service along with the outstanding meal helped me to kick the depression that was knocking at my door that day. So thanks Monkey King for a memorable journey. “Was in a job interview and early enough that I could grab lunch here. I just got back from Nepal & was craving momos.

Place is really spacious and at 2PM was empty - just one other table. Service was friendly - but the kitchen took longer than expected. Still - hands down - the best momo I’ve had in a very long time.

“I travelled 40 miles deep into Flushing Queens for the best Korean Fried Chicken! Comes with Spicy or Soy Garlic, Juicy Drumsticks or wings and with some tangy sour pickled radish or sweet creamy kimchi cole slaw. You are missing out if you have not tried this!!! You want some?! Usually I would get this when I worked the Financial District or Midtown Manhattan but this was the closest to home and they did not let me down!! “A fully vegan Korean restaurant situated right in the heart of Manhattan?! My west coast heart is pounding in jealousy and longing to return once again. It's often very hard to find restaurants that serve fully vegan Korean food so the fact that this exists is truly special. A lot of items will be vegetarian at best so to be able to have an extensive menu to order from is a treat. My friends and I came here for lunch and were seated fairly quickly in their hip restaurant. I ordered a couple of things: - Combination Pancakes consisting of sweet corn cilantro, scallion & spicy kimchi offerings. This was their take on traditional Korean jeon and I didn't realize they'd bring out so many small pieces for the table. My favorite was definitely the sweet corn cilantro. - Crispy Korean Chili Tofu Lunch Special, which included a soup and salad of the day as well as two additional banchan (including a pancake!) The tofu was fried to sweet perfection and the chili sauce was top notch. There ended up being more than enough food just from this alone. I hope this spot sticks around because I'll certainly be coming back to fill my Korean cravings without needing to play around with the menu at other restaurants. “I got take out - Chicken with broccoli and oyster sauce with Hakka noodles from their express lunch menu. It came with momos, chicken satay, soup and salad. Everything was extremly flavorful and fresh, the vegetables in the noodles and salad were fresh and crisp; the salad dressing was a perfect balance of sweet, sour and spicy. Simply excellent. I found a new favorite place for Indo-Chinese food.“

“I was here yesterday for my first time. Our server was EIMY. She was great, very helpful and attentive. on the table, we have some fried wings, egg rolls, California rolls, alligator Rolls ,general, chicken, sesame chicken, and some kung pow chicken Also, I had special fried rice. It seems that nearly everything is prepared to order, and as a result if coming here you should be prepared to possibly wait longer than most restaurants for your food to be ready.
