“I went to PS 26 across the street from the pizzeria from 1988-1994. Went across the street for lunch on Fridays. The pizza used to be sooo good. Haven't been there since 1994. I wne to JHS and moved from Fresh Meadows. I was told by a friend it tastes the exact same from childhood. I decided to give it a try. It absolutely did taste the same. My boyfriend loved the grandma slice. I didn't go in so I cant speak for the customer service but the pizza was perfect. So nostalgic. I will be back.“

“The atmosphere was classy and inviting, and the food was delicious. My friend and I had the calamari, baked clams, chicken parmesan, and an eggplant dish, and everything was really good.
The cocktails were superb! I hardly ever drink, and mine was just right. The service was also excellent—the waiters were attentive and on point throughout the entire meal.
I live in the neighborhood, so I’ll definitely be ordering takeout and stopping by again for dinner or maybe brunch. It’s a great neighborhood spot, and I highly recommend it!“

I highly recommend trying the fagioli all’uccelletto, and don’t miss their pastas, we had a phenomenal cacio e pepe, and the cotoletta alla bolognese was truly amazing. Food is so authentic and spontaneous!!! We shared a bottle of their Poderi Melini Chianti Classico, which was perfect with our food and was recommended to us by Jacopo, in his typical Tuscanian accent. I’ll definitely be back! Ridgewood has a great Italian spot. What a discovery!“

And the food was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the porcini and truffle pizza, cacio e pepe, bucatini, and tiramisu, and every dish was outstanding and made with care. Each bite was full of flavor with remnants of true Italian flair!

A special mention to Chef Antonio, who is incredibly humble and clearly passionate about what he creates. That combination of talent and humility makes the experience feel even more special.

“Been meaning to stop in here for a while and we're glad we did! Made for the perfect lunch on an obscenely humid day. A/C was on, World Cup was playing, but the atmosphere was laid back and relaxed. The service was fantastic.
We both really enjoyed our tap wine - the pasta funghi, meatballs, and truffle fries were top-notch. And that Jesus cake ... that cake is something else. Unreal. We were both saying it was the best dessert we'd had in years.

It quickly turned into wine, free bread, and the best pappardelle bolognese I've had (and priced so well at $18 for fresh pasta).
