“This is a decent eatery. The app is easy to use for advance ordering and there is usually a promo. When I arrive, once someone is available, my meal is prepared and ready to go. In the past few months I have had some mistakes with preparation but that hasn’t happened recently. Prices are decent especially if you don’t get a protein. Tastes pretty good as well.“
“One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. Easily my favorite restaurant on Long Island. I am a chef and the guy at the table next to me was as well and we were both blown away. My kids (4 years old) loved everything, my mother (pescatarian) couldnt have loved her food more. The drinks were on point and the flavors were beyond compare. Their char sui bao were hands-down the best I have ever had.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian dim sum and a ton of dishes too. Absolutely fantastic vegetarian offerings!Kid-friendliness: My 4 year olds loved the place! The servers were great with them!“
“As you walk in the Restaurant, you immediately get a homey atmosphere in this place! The food was served very quickly. The Authentic Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup is excellent as the broth is very thick and flavorful. The beef that they use is half tendon half meat, which is the best combo that a merchant can use when preparing this dish! Overall, the food is excellent! I would definitely come back again! As a bonus, their pickled cabbage and peanuts side dish are excellent too!“
“We have had dinner at this restaurant several times. The environment is very tasteful, the service is very good, and the various dishes are very exquisite in workmanship. We highly recommend this place and will stay here again if we come back to New York.“
“Came here on a cold rainy Thursday for lunch. Looks like a mom and pop restaurant that seats a total of 13 comfortably. We ordered the Combo Ramen and the Yoodon Kimbap. The Combo Ramen (medium spicy) wasn’t that spicy, but good enough for me. It definitely hit the spot on this rainy day. The Yoodon Kimbap is a kimbap that is wrapped in a thin sliced pork cutlet topped with a sauce that they made. This combination worked really well and the soup that it came with paired perfectly with it. I hope to visit again and try their other dishes.“
“From the service to the food and even the music playing, it was all top tier. Miss Lucy was so sweet and catered to my groups little needs. Even with the language barrier I still enjoyed what she had to offer. Visit Ju Bang Jang and do forget to tip!“
“The new owner is lovely, and her food is delicious even though a little bit different. Unfortunately the menu has been changed, so many of the dishes we used to order there are no longer offered. But all of the noodle soups are still available. So important to support little shop owners. Definitely worth a visit.“
“We were looking for a place to celebrate our daughter’s first birthday. We live in Manhattan and needed a place where we could host up to 80 people with easy parking and good food. All of the usual ideas weren’t cutting it for us so my father-in-law who lives in Woodmere suggested Jackie’s place as an option. My wife was a little hesitant at first. I think she had her mind made up with some of the more traditional options like an ice cream parlor or room somewhere with catering. But her father and Jackie talked some more and sent her pictures of the location and the idea of hosting here grew on her.Jackie had never hosted this kind of party but he and my wife worked out the details in terms of setting up a buffet, the right cost per person, the time (on Feb 10, Chinese New Year) and the decorations. Everyone was a little nervous, including her father who kind of felt like he set us up on a blind date: we hadn’t had the food or actually visited the place.Cut to the party and it wound up being absolutely amazing in every regard. My biggest concern was the food. My family loves Chinese and who knew it would be so delicious. I knew the other details would be fine in the end and people being together would make the party fine regardless, but bad food would have been trouble. Not only was the food not bad, it was truly Delicious! We had trays of dumplings, spring rolls, cold sesame noodles (often tough to get good ones but not here!), Sesame chicken, pork chow fun, shrimp with vegetables, lo meins, fried rices, Mongolian beef, and lots more. We figured we would have food to take home and were shocked at just how little left overs there were. And this was not due to lack of volume but instead to how much everyone ate.I could say lots more about Jackie’s first time hosting an affair like this, and about him as a host, and about the party being so successful. But bottom lines are these:1. If hosting a kid’s birthday or other such event at a Chinese restaurant wasn’t a thing, it should be now2. Call Jackie to host your next event. You won’t be sorry3. Come any time for a meal or takeout. If Delicis was in downtown Manhattan, it would be insanely popularThanks Jackie and Delicis staff for your time, communication and amazing food. Hoping you start hosting events like ours more frequently!“
“I was really impressed. When I was told I wad being taken to a thai restaurant, I expected the usual indian curry fusion most Thai places offer. I began getting disappointed as I reviewed the menu, not understanding what spices it would contain or look like.Once I told our happy waitress that it was my first time, she was so glad to assist. I saw other patrons dinners and the couple at the table next to us made recommendations too.Though I didnt get photos of everything before we devoured it, I must say this is a GEM! Fresh, tasty and more than what the menu states. Dont be afraid if it says beef and noodles. You'll get a tastier mix than that. The stinky tofu was a flavor not average for Americans but there was so much it is a meal in itself! Definitely a partner needed to share.Chicken wad tender, so was the beef. We will be back“
“The broth is a flavor symphony and the noodles are perfection. But their omurice is an absolute game-changer. The savory omelette over fluffy rice is a must-try alongside their ramen delights. Quick service, cozy vibes, and a menu that hits all the right notes.“
“A cozy Taiwan restaurant in Bayside with high quality price ratio.Highlight: 5 mins to Cross Island Parkway exit 31w.Note: Cash only. Venmo/Zelle not available.Must-try: Lu Rou Fan 卤肉饭,Taiwanese Salt Pepper Popcorn Chicken 盐酥鸡Recommendation: Gua Bao刈包, beef in Niu Rou Mian 牛肉面Food: We ordered Lu Rou Fan (braised pork rice), Gua Bao (meat bun), Niu Rou Mian (beef noodles), and salt pepper popcorn chicken. The best part is how tender and soft the meat is, even the fatty parts melt in your mouth. They offer two types of rice, Lu Rou Fan and Khong Rou Fan. Gua Bao uses the same Khong Rou in Khong Rou Fan. Khong Rou is a large piece of meat with fat and lean parts. Gua Bao uses crushed peanuts and sugar on the meat. If you like big bites of meat, you will probably like this texture. Note that it is relatively greasy compared to other dishes. The crispy fried chicken is quite tender, but a bit salty. The beef in the beef noodles is top-notch, sadly the noodles are too soft and lack chewiness. My personal favorite is Lu Rou Fan. It has pickled cucumbers inside with a slightly sour but refreshing taste to balance the greasiness. The sportion of food is another highlight. It is more filling than it looks.Price: It is beyond my expectation. We were so full and even had leftover to bring home, while we spent less than $30 per person.Parking: they have parking lot in front of the restaurant, but spaces are limited.“
“The food is delicious and fresh. We also have food allergies and they call to double check, which is great. My only issue is the last two times I placed online orders they corrected the total and charged me extra for “add ons”. I had zero add ons both times. In fact the only thing I asked for was for them to NOT use sesame seeds or seaweed paper because of an allergy. So because they’re omitting something, instead of charging me the same or less, they charge more?? That doesn’t seem right.“
“I have never dined in here, but the space is cozy and pleasant when I go to pick up food. I also haven’t done delivery, so can’t speak to that. I’ve been ordering from Mizuno since 2019 at least. Their sushi and food is consistently fresh and delicious. Picking up is fast and easy. The packaging for takeout is excellent and protects the integrity of the food and flavor. They are a hidden gem on Long Island. 100% recommend them to anyone.“
“This is my go to spot! They have the freshest sashimi mackerel. When we need a fast sushi fix, we go here. I have never ordered from here and didn't have anything that didn't taste good. Wish it was a larger location to sit in and eat. You could before, but it's really small and due to COVID, you can only do take out now. Definitely a go to spot!“
“Stumbled upon this place after ordering take out from here and was pleasantly surprised to find it inside a supermarket filled with isles of amazing international foods. Unfortunately, when we arrived home we realized we were given the wrong order and immediately called them and they kindly Ubered our correct order to us without any charge and let us keep the wrong order. We ordered: 1. Scallion pancakes with sliced beef - a favorite 2. Steamed bbq pork buns - huge and pork was delicious but too much dough to meat ratio 3. Sesame chicken - too much dough 4. Chicken with broccoli - healthy option and delicious They had a promotion and gifted us 6 pork soup dumplings which were a fav as well. I will definitely order from here again for more dim sum style food as there are so many things I wanted to try. I also like that they have frozen options for dim sum to take home and make yourself. I recommend picking the order up to check out the food bizarre as well.“
“$10 duck and rice? Yes, please. Duck fat is surprisingly good for you. They season the rice and it comes with steamed cabbage and a soup. I ask what the soup options are because one time there was a chicken foot inside - I'm not a fan of it. The beef stock soup was great. I've had the whole duck, peking, and mushu, but I think the duck or pork with rice is the winner!“
“Delicious food!!! Not a long wait for the order. They always offer free bun or dumplings as a starter. Everything is very fresh and super delicious. I have lots of favorite dishes there. I am always trying to get something new. Real Asian food. They take cash only, but you can pay by Zelle or Venmo as well. Highly recommended.“
“Chinese beef dishes at its best and there are tons of creativity in there. They have several dishes that's quiet unique. 牛掌,Cha Siew, the beef stew are recommended. Additionally I think their beef sauce lo mein / rice noodle is so good that I've repeat this order several times already, it can not be found anywhere else, there are something special to it.“
“4.9/5.0Been looking for a very good Chinese takeout place near home. We finally found it. We will be regulars here.Beef with Garlic sauce - 5/5. Beef is a bit thicker cut but still tender. Flavors are spot on 5/5.General Tso Chicken - 4.9/5. It’s long strips of white meat chicken surrounded by a thick batter approximately 3-4mm thickness. It’s too thick, should be lightly coated, half meat and half batter. Outside is very crispy. The sauce is a bit sweet than I like.Thai Curry Chicken - 5/5. I usually don’t like this dish, my wife loves it. But with this dish, I couldn’t stop eating it. Flavor is 5/5, one of the best I had so far. Sauce is thicker than usual but I think it works for this dish, more flavor instead of the liquidity sauce other takeout places make it.Egg rolls. 4.0/5. Very crispy on outside. Flavor is 4.5/5. What makes this dish rated poorly is the filling, it’s mushy. Had far worse egg rolls but wish it wasn’t mushy. Flavor is certainly there. There are 3 tables for dine in, two 4 seaters, one 2 seater. If you dine in, you’ll get thick Dixie/Walmart generic quality disposable plates, not the flimsy pizza paper plates or styrofoam plates like many other places serve. Utensils also nice decent quality that you can actually use to cut meat with, not the thin plastic flimsy knives that bend.Service was top notch considering for a takeout place, guy brought out the food twice on a tray as it was ready. Other places just simply say food ready for pick up.“
“REALLY good! Tried the pork buns, fried dumplings, and Szechuan shrimp combo with a side of cream cheese wontons. Everything was extremely flavorful and fresh, and it traveled really well for Uber eats. The wontons were still very crispy. Will definitely order again“
“I have to tell you I have been trying all the local Chinese restaurants since Covid and nothing has been even edible. It’s been pointing and every time I try another so I won’t mention the names but I will say every other from Hewlett Woodmere no not even say to her in with Lawrrnce everything you can think of not even edible.Yesterday I finally found the most wonderful wonderful Chinese food and not only that they were able to speak to me on the phone and fill all my request . Could not have been easier and surprisingly oh that was the distance was further away then most the delivery time was almost half of the others. Forget everything you remember when you’re looking for Chinese delivery you must call D&Y kitchen . Trust me you won’t regret it❤️Enjoy your meal!!!!!“
“Good place for clean eating, which is hard to come by.I’ve had the Pho a bunch and their rice dish. The rice dish is white rice, meat, some veg with a small thing of sauce on the side. Very simple, tasty, cooked well, clean ingredients.Pho is great. Comparable to any good pho I’ve had.“
“I made a nice review before. My second time going there i had to spit the food back out. I asked for chicken and broc , pork fried rice with an egg and they left the pork out. Food was uncooked. Rice still raw chicken hard. Im so grossed out. Go to Wing Wong Kitchen i promise you will never be disappointed.“
“Looks like typical Chinese takeout with window and two small tables, but serves old school Hong Kong style dishes. Thought with name like Tea Station they have more options but it's your basic milk tea or lemon tea. Good if you want the traditional HK breakfast of spam macaroni soup and toast. I'd also try the black pepper spaghetti or tomato or cream sauce spaghetti. It's HK style so might not be what you expect if you've never had it before“
“The Food was fresh light airy not salty & very well prepared. The driver and delivery person was friendly & personable he provided Excellent customer service. I really enjoyed my first time ordering from this restaurant. I look forward to ordering from them again- we ordered a number of items soup. The Wonton soup was delicious. it was not salty. The scallion pancakes were not greasy, They were flaky and wonderful - please know that if you order the shrimp and broccoli combination - you will receive jumbo shrimp so you're only going get about five or six but they are massive meaty and delicious enjoy. Oh! Delivery was timely.“
“A very authentic Taiwanese place with the proper stinky tofu! The selection is very large, and everything we have tried in the three visits there was great: not a single disappointing dish thus far. The freshly made soy milk is especially great!“
“A quaint neighborhood hibachi place. The servers are so friendly and I have never had any problems with their quality of food. Once my boba was undercooked and I let them know and they immediately replaced it and apologized with no charge. Such a wonderful atmosphere.“
“Food is great! Just a little overpriced… and long wait time even when waiting in person… restaurant nearly empty but took about 20+ minutes to get only 2 bowls of noodles.. Also takeout containers are too small for noodles it’s kinda hard unless I have a bigger separate bowl to pour it in. Overall 3.7 “
“Sunday after church we gathered at Korean Noodle House with a large group of 11 to enjoy a meal together. We've been here on week days, evenings and often on Sundays. When you enter through the front entrance the main dining area spans left and right with the cash register located towards the back on the right side.To the right of the cash register is an entrance to a modest side dining area. As you enter there is a private room with newly install hanging barn doors which can be closed. What I notice today was they did some remodeling of the walls in the side dining area with paint and paneling. A nice refresh which made look new as it was previously looking aged. It is overall a low key atmosphere though. We were seated in the side room as we had a larger group and the main dining area was already 65% occupied by diners. The walls were decorated also with TVs playing K-Pop or K-Drama in the past. Today I noticed the volume was very low or off. We took our time to chat, teh wait staff brought out hot tea, I asked for cold water for a few of us. They brought out the usual Korean side dishes; Kimchee, Yellow Radish slices, and raw Onion chips with doenjang (fermented soybean paste). It was comfortable to hold conversations as restaurants with open spaces may bounce sounds causing it to be loud making conversations difficult. The tables and chairs were sturdy, clean, and did not rock or creak. If you have a younger child with you they have highchairs. The wait staff were courteous and attentive. If you speak Mandarin you'll surprised that our wait staff she spoke fluently or Korean and English. We ordered the following dishes:Ja Jang Myun (짜장면 / 炸酱面) or Beef Gan Ja Jang Myun (소고기간짜장 / 牛肉炸酱面) - two of use ordered this (either Noodle with black bean sauce or Noodle with black bean sauce and beef) comes covered with sauce, chopped onion pieces, and possibly small bit of ground beef. I believe it's egg noodle and they are long so it's advisable to cut them with the scissor that's provided. Which ever one it was it was yummy.Soy Garlic Fried Chicken (마늘간장치킨 / 酱油大蒜炸鸡) - the Soy garlic fried chicken is prepared with the sauce on the fired chicken, but you can have it on the side so you can dip it. Usually we order this to share s a family, but today I wanted to enjoy it myself, but I did save half to bring home for my son.Jam Ja Myun (짬짜면 / 炸酱面炒码面) - 1/2 noodle with black bean sauce, 1/2 noodle with spicy chop suey soup. This is a favorite that is often ordered by my wife and kids. There were three other dishes that were ordered, but they were new and I didn't catch the names of them and you will have to just figure it out by showing the pictures to the wait staff. One thing you should consider is what your spicy preference is. Get an idea from the wait staff by asking them questions because there is not way to convey how spicy is spicy. Yes they may have the dish labeled as spicy and they may tell you it is spicy, but if you have a higher tolerance for spiciness you might be disappointed and I suggest you go in with an open mind and experience it. Then the next time you'll have a realistic expectation and able to express it to friends who you know well their spicy tolerance is ;)* I'd recommend any of the dishes we ordered, but my top favorite is the Soy Garlic Fried Chicken alone or as a side dish to share.Normally I'd have provide pictures of all our dishes, but because my friend's wife just got the newest Samsung I asked her to capture all the dishes.Payment - Credit Cards work but I don't know if they don't accept AmEx or Discover which sometimes happens, and cash is king.I gave Korean Noodle House 5 Stars based on the food, service, and atmosphere. There are many Korean Restaurants from Flushing to Bayside along Northern Blvd., but this is our go to locations as it's close to home and for friends to join us. I'd rate it $, but I'd keep in mind that prices have slowly been creeping up.Parking: As it's a Sunday parking in NYC is free and I parked right “
“Finding this location was a bit challenging since it's situated inside HMart, as food court, surrounded by other restaurants. However, once inside, I experienced very fast and efficient service. The food was good.Parking: Lots of parking available.“
“I love the interior of this shop. It is so exciting and stylish. I love the private stalls as well. The ramen was surprisingly good. We went there just to grab something between a soccer game and a violin lesson with my son. I did not expect much thinking this is another Chinese ramen place, but ramen here was surprisingly above my expectation. It is not special, but it tastes like a regular ramen in Japan. My son had the combination ramen (you can enjoy two different tastes), a bun, and a tea. He was satisfied as well. I will go back if I have a chance.“
