“I don’t usually leave reviews but I just had to in this case. Pantano’s of Plainview catered my baby shower this past weekend. The food was amazing!! Three days later and I'm still getting texts complimenting the food. Gian Luca and his staff made everything so so easy, from the amount of food I would need to what to actually order to the sides and extra sauces; everything was perfect. With such a busy day, that was one thing I didn't have to worry and stress about. I highly recommend!“

“One of the few meals my family can all agree on. I could eat this every day. The regular philly with cheese wiz is amazing. After trying Pat and Gino’s in Philadelphia, and then others, I was convinced that I did not like cheese wiz on my Philly. I was wrong, hands down this is the best. Cost unfortunately remains the only barrier; over $70 to feed a family of four for lunch is a bit much. $50-60 is my top price point for a fun meal from out.“

“Honestly, this place is so slept on... Krave It has the best pizza in Bayside— by a LANDSLIDE. I love that they use unbromated flour and I appreciate that every piece (even the specialty slices with many heavy toppings) has great structure, no flop. Thin & crispy crust, great ratio of sauce and cheese. I also love how clean the restaurant is. They have some incredible specialty slices that I never knew I needed in my life until I tried them! Especially the “Desi Boy” slice and the “white truffle chicken cutlet” slice. I also have to mention their vodka slice with sesame crust 🤤 Everything in this place is high quality, even their regular slices. Their sandwiches are pretty incredible too, and you can tell that the bread is fresh made in house— you don’t feel bloated or overly stuffed after eating them! The owner is super friendly and even gave us a couple extra slices to try to complete our “pie” when we had already ordered a small variety of slices. The staff are all very friendly and it feels very comfortable and less stuffy than some of the other pizzerias in the area. Happy to give this place my business. Give them a try, you will be back for more!“

“I just ordered a spicy Italian footlong at 2:45pm. The food and service were both great.

It was raining outside and the woman who made the food was very nice when I explained to her I was waiting inside for the cab. I asked her to write down her name on a piece of paper to do this review, although the paper was ruined due to rain.

The sandwiches were so delicious &fresh on top of that the Owner was very personable and made sure we were happy with our orders. You don't get this kind of service so often . “We have ordered from here several times now for my office. They have a buy one get one free option which really is worth it. Their breakfast sandwich with scrambled egg, bacon, cheese and hashbrown on a roll is great. I get their Havest Quinoa Salad with crispy chicken and it's always fresh. Well worth the price. Their chicken strips with honey mustard are really good and everyone in the office likes their various Totz sandwichs.“

“I came here on Sunday evening with my boyfriend. The two gentleman behind the counter were very nice and made us delicious sandwiches. My turkey and provolone was layered perfectly with just the right about of condiments. My boyfriend Philly cheesesteak was cooked to perfection. Only kicker is if we went any later they would have been out of white bread but overall very good experience. We ate inside and the store was presentable.“

I was surprised to see reviews about the food lacking flavor. I do not agree with this. They are not a gourmet restaurant. They serve healthy food and they have large portions. “I went there April 27th with my BF. He ordered the sandwich and I wasn't paying attention, we left and in the car he said he had issue with how it was made and wanted to throw it away. I said no, that sandwich was expensive, just bring me back and I will explain the issue and hopefully they will remake it for free. I talked to the manager Tanya, and explained and she remade it and remembered my order. I think I came back 15 minutes later, the manager seemed tired but was nice, quick and efficient. “So, lot's of reviews coming in on this spot. I live right here and highly anticipated a firehouse subs coming in! So glad it did. The food quality is excellent. They try to get the orders out the best they can sometimes it get busy at prime meal times just be patient it's all delicious. Maybe It takes 5 to 7 minutes extra, um okay. That ham though. With all that being said the gas station and parking and trying to get that sammy is horrendous. Guess that building percent did not apply cause its all bolla mart no pavement. Walk up maybe best option. Firehouse subs is the ess ech eye tea!“
