“Ate here twice on a four day trip.
One of few clean places to eat. The staff were very friendly. They closed at 9pm, we stop to eat dinner at 8:55pm. They told us not to worry about the time it closed and to seat and enjoy our dinner. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.“

“Well done Mahar Moe.
The service is fantastic, the place is clean and the food is like nothing you've had at your favorite corner Chinese Restaurant.
The dumplings were so fresh and tasty. House Lo Mein was filled with meat and perfectly cooked noodles. The sweet and sour chicken was juicy and not greasy at all.
They give you a pot a tea to start you meal.
It really is a fantastic place with very reasonable prices and huge portions.“

“HomeTaste is hands-down the best Chinese food I’ve had in Buffalo. Everything was bursting with authentic flavor and came out fast, fresh, and perfectly cooked.
I tried several dishes and loved every one:
The Mapo Tofu with Beef was beautifully spicy and savory with that signature numbing Sichuan heat, perfectly balanced with tender beef and silky tofu. The Egg Tofu was delicate, rich, and lightly crisped on the outside, absolute comfort food! Stir-Fried Green Beans and Cabbage are classics, both dishes were simple but incredibly flavorful. The Chongqi Little Noodles were chewy, spicy, though it is a special, my group agreed that it wasn’t a favorite compared to the other dishes. The Fish Soup with Clear Noodles were light, fragrant, and soothing; a great contrast to the spicier plates.
The food came out quickly, and the service was friendly and attentive. The space is very small, so it’s worth keeping that in mind if you’re planning to dine in, but it adds to the cozy, home-style charm.
If you’re looking for authentic, flavor-packed Chinese cuisine in Buffalo, HomeTaste is an absolute must-visit!“

“We tried Lee’s for first time tonight. It’s a small mom & pop Chinese restaurant that I think is fairly new to the area. The food was fresh, tasted great and the service was fast and friendly! Recommended!“

“Very very great staff I might go again tonight.❤️ I love their meals. No long waits. I also like that the location is near other stops I make when out. I had not picked up food for take out in some time…(except typical fast food places when with others) from now on I will be stopping here more often instead. Thanks you guys😊
Last time I had ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken with veggie fried rice and two Egg Rolls. Yum.“

“This is my first time ordering from lucky dragon; I was so impressed!!
We ordered dinner for four, which was more than enough with generous portion sizes, and I was so impressed by the novelty and convenience of a family combo where YOU get to choose what is included... out of about 30 dishes, which ones you want to add to make your combo. (Almost always when you buy dinner for three or four or five, they tell you what is in the meal, no substitutions allowed)
Everything was delicious!
We all agreed that it was not too salty, did not make you feel thirsty and dried out afterwards, was not too oily/ greasy... That the vegetables were cooked perfectly, the meats were tender...
The chicken balls were small (which we liked very much) like a one or two bite...not all big puffy fried dough like many other places.
It was an excellent takeout meal.
And, the price on the menu was the price that we paid (when was the last time that tax was included in the advertised price?)
All five of us gave two thumbs up so, 10 thumbs up for Lucky dragon Niagara Falls
👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍“

“Highly recommend the chicken wings! You can’t beat the price. I was just craving some Chinese food and stumbled upon this hidden gem. The owner may not be super talkative, but the food definitely speaks for itself. They even accommodated my special requests. Definitely worth a try!“

“Definitely no-frills for the dining room, but extremely clean and oddly comfortable. Plus, with food like this, none of the rest matters. I've yet to have a dish that doesn't hit exactly right. The hot and chilli chicken is out of this world but everything is so, so good.“

“Still my favorite Chinese food in the city since childhood. Owners changed I think but the food pretty much the same! You know it me smelling like some good food when you pass by there.
Vegetarian options: As all Chinese restaurants they have plenty vegetarian options and they're well labeled
Parking: Good size lot
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps“

“Good for takeout. Great value and choices from the combination menu. Cashew chicken was well balanced with various veggies (water chestnuts, celery, carrots, broccoli stem, mushroom, baby corn) and chicken breast slices; excellent blend of textures. Lo Mein wasn’t amazing but still okay.“

“Whenever I go to Niagara I have to stop at Phongs for an egg roll. It is a meat filled egg roll and it’s so good!!! Their dishes are flavourful and not too salty. Their prices are fair and portions are filling. Everything is made fresh and always hot. I DO recommend this hidden Jem .“

“As is tradition, my girl and I got some Christmas Chinese food, and this place just happened to be close. I checked the reviews, and I almost skipped this place due to the negative reviews. I wanted to give some fair feedback on both the food and our experience.
First, the service was like most Chinese food spots; food is ready in about 15 minutes. They told me as much, but it only took a little under 10. The woman was very nice and courteous. I have nothing bad to say except..
The price. Most things were a dollar or two more expensive than the menu, and as some other reviews have mentioned, they do skimp a little bit on the protein portions. I understand that everything is expensive now, but I spent $65. On this one issue, I think they could do better.
So how is the food? It's about as good as any other local Chinese place. That's not to disparage them. It's what I expect when I go to these restaurants. I wasn't let down. In fact, I could tell that everything was cooked fresh except the wonton soup. That may have been on the heater a while as the wontons fell apart.
In addition to the Wonton Soup, we ordered General Tso, Beef Lo Mein, Sweet & Sour Pork, and Boneless Spare Ribs. Here's my thoughts on each of them.
-General Tso: It wasn't very crispy, but unlike a lot of places, they do serve it on a bed of broccoli, and the broccoli was perfect. I would otherwise say that this item was mid.
-Beef Lo Mein: This had some of the most tender strips of beef I've ever had in a beef lo mein. This was the real winner 10/10. My main issue was the amount of beef included.
-Boneless Spare Ribs: The strips of ribs were also tender, but I've never had it served on a bed of broccoli, and unlike the General Tso, they covered the entire bottom of the dish with broccoli which lead to far less meat than I would otherwise have gotten. It was very good, but I felt just a little bit gipped.
-Sweet and Sour Pork: These were great and didn't make the ride home. They were crispy, double fried, and delicious. I don't usually dip in sweet and sour sauce, so I have no review on it. The pork balls were good though!
-To sum it up, we had a good experience albeit costly. If I got the same quality for $10-15 less, or just a little more meat for the price paid, I would have given an additional star on all points.
Maybe my experience was different than these other people, or maybe they were expecting fine dining. This ain't that.“

“Much to our surprise, we had a fabulous dinner. The beef tenderloin, was the absolute best dish we have had anywhere. The beef was so tender & the wine sauce made it an excellent choice. Amber, our waitress was very helpful in our ordering process & she provided excellent service. She was very attentive and her caring attitude made this a Wonderful Dining Experience. Can’t wait to return.“

“If you are looking for a famed 3 star Chinese place, this is it. You get authentic American Chinese food, and the Father and Son who own/operate the restaurant are polite and friendly.
*Quick disclaimer*
They are Cash Only and don't have indoor dinning.
All in all, a great place for cheap food on the go.
Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp into the restaurant at the entrance, but the counter is a little high for a wheelchair.“

“I've been going to China Town for some years now. I used to frequent another local Chinese Take-out but an ownership change brought with it meats I was unable to identify.
I found China Town and haven't looked back. I hardly ever vary my orders, but never tire of the food. The BIG take-away from this place is first, you CAN identify what it is you are eating. That's a huge plus for me. Additionally, they provide a good proportional amount of veggies to their dishes, with generous slices of carrots, full broccoli florets, peas, water chestnuts, etc... So healthy is a thing (and yes, you can, and I have, request less sauce in the food).
Tonight I went against the grain and ordered the boneless ribs and white rice, and VERY satisfied. I usually order Cashew Chicken, which is a top notch mixture of meat, veggies and rice.
The owners may not always have time to be social, but they are hard working and seem to really care about putting out a quality dish. I've never used their sit-down area which is a bit on the sparse side, but that's no reflection on the restaurant.
All told I intend to be a customer as long as possible, and will order from them once or twice a week.“

“They actually have great Chinese food and it tastes better than other restaurants. This one is the best near the area in my opinion. Chicken wings have flavor, the rice has flavor and so does the brown sauce for the shrimp and broccoli. Overall great quality food.“

“Food was actually some of the better Chinese food that I’ve had in Buffalo. I got chicken lo mein, fried chicken rice, orange chicken, and vegetable spring rolls and everything was very good. Orange chicken were large chicken chunks. Lo mein very good and the fried chicken rice was very good was yellow rice and really liked it. Service was great and right to the point. Atmosphere was horrible but this is mostly a takeout place so it’s not supposed to be the most fine decor.“

“We seeked out this Korean joint while traveling in Buffalo for our sons college events.
The food for Buffalo was excellent, from the Jaja men to ttabboki and various rice dishes.
Everything was fantastic for the area and all reasonably priced.
We're from NYC, so certainly we wouldn't say it competes with K Town here in NYC, but it was awesome Korean food for Buffalo.“

“Food isn't that bad never really gotten anything bad from here the only thing i have got 1 time was overcooked fried shrimp one time from here.. other than that they're not bad they said they were open today why aren't they answering their phone? Anyway they're always pleasant on the phone they deliver on time and their food isn't that bad so I don't know why they're getting bad reviews.. they could be better but they're not as bad as what the people are saying.“

“Don't waste your time.
Order exactly this: Dry Garlic Spare Ribs + 1-2 orders of white rice
Chinese restaurants are not known for good customer service since it's the food that matters. Order the right food or be disappointed. Since having had this Dry Garlic Spare Ribs here for many years, I have since moved to the GTA and not 1 Chinese or non-Chinese restaurant have anything spare ribs that come close to as tasty with white rice as this place makes it over the years. Every time I come by Niagara Falls to see family I would order 1 to go. I wish this place reopen here in the GTA i would drive 1 hour 1 way just for their Dry Garlic Spare Ribs + white rice + coke. Next time I visit will update with photo of the exact dish. Oh and yes it pairs very well with Coke.
Order ahead of time, pickup and go.“
