“West end has been one of our favorite places to dine for over 30 years. They have kept up the wonderful food and service even though Management has changed. The food was always outstanding and it hasn't changed. The service was always spot on and continues to be warm and caring. The four of had their prix fixed dinner and it was outstanding. The portions were the same size as the ala carte menu and the food was spot on. hadn't been there in a while because of some health issues but we will be regulars again as will our friends.“

“I had an amazing experience at Applebee’s Grill + Bar, and it was all thanks to Crystal, our waitress. From the moment we sat down, she was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional. She made sure our drinks were always full, checked on us at the perfect times, and gave great menu recommendations.

What really stood out was her positive attitude and genuine care for the customers. Even though the restaurant was busy, she handled everything smoothly and made us feel like a priority. Service like this truly makes the whole dining experience better.

“157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.

Regarding the food:

Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.

Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.

King Salmon: Quite tender.

Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.

Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.

Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

It's a really nice family-owned restaurant in the area. Would be a decent date spot, especially because of the outdoor seating... call ahead and see if you can bring a board game.

Kimchi burger was amazing and I'd come back just for that!“

“Got a new place for over rice items or gyro items. One word..Delicious. Food was really good. I always have the mix over rice. Also the gyro was very good. Food taste and quantity is really good and enough for a person. Food Cart. So either take away or eat inside your car. Updated prices and menu added.“

“I have been a customer of Austin’s Ale House for many years, I know them well they know me well. This year I decided to give the excellent and highly favored family cooking team a break and had Austin’s Ale House cater our Christmas Dinner. I went with the ham dinner for 10 to feed 7 people🤣. The ordering was done with ease and so was the pick up. The family did a preliminary tasting...... LOVED .IT and whatever we have left after the “taste test” will have to serve as our Christmas Dinner. Since the taste test was so aggressive we may need to supplement what’s left with a few cheese omelets 🤣. We enjoyed it so much there was much talk about it becoming the new family tradition. “My family and I went to Veranda restaurant in Bayside yesterday for. Birthday dinner. The restaurant is well located, with street parking and valet service as well. There’s an outdoor patio, that for obvious reason we couldn’t use. The temperatures in NY have been in the single digits lately. The food and the service were on another level! Gregory was very attentive, welcoming and friendly. The food was finger liking good! I had the pan seared scallops with spinach risotto and OMG. I can’t wait to go back. Everyone was pleased with the their food choices and I highly recommend this place, unfortunately I didn’t take pics of everyone’s food. Only if mine, I hope you find this review useful. Our guests raved about the food - how fresh, plentiful and delicious everything was. We had several guests with dietary needs (peanut allergy, vegetarian) and Pam helped us craft a menu to accommodate our guests. The team for the day (Sean, Jon, and Natalya) were so attentive and we appreciate the staff and everyone behind the scenes that made the afternoon a lovely memory for our family and guests. “I've dined here at least 20 times and have always had a great experience. Our server Deneen was outstanding. So sweet and professional and took great care of us during our dinner. She should be commended. Two of us got the chicken breast dinner and the other two got the pork chop. Everything was delicious as usual. Our wine was great as were the little desserts they always serve. Seasons 52 has become a favorite which is why we always come back!“

“I was really disappointed with my experience here. The food looked promising, but the taste didn’t match the presentation at all. The food is highly overpriced, and doesn’t taste fresh. The appetizer quality was way better than the entrees.

I ordered the fish and chips for my entree, it only came with three small pieces. The fish was dry as hell and lacked any real flavor or seasoning. For the price, I expected much better quality. I left this restaurant still hungry and disappointed. Unfortunately, this is not a place I’d return to or recommend.“

“Always a pleasure coming to Rove! Tonite was an exceptional experience. I wish i got the bartenders name. Wednesday 4/24/24 between 7-9pm. Nice nails and curly hair. She was funny pleasant and took care of us. Long story short, after great apps and drinks, paid the bill and left…I dropped a $50 out of my pocket after I paid and left and was only 2 store fronts down and she came after me telling me you dropped a bill and gave it back. You don’t see this honestly often anymore. Kudos to her and Rove deserves her as an employee.“
