When I called asking if you could accommodate a large party after plans to go into the city fell apart, you made it happen within a 1/2 hour even though you were super busy with other parties and on a Saturday night before Mother's Day. You welcomed us with open arms and treated us like royalty. You, Sal & your staff made sure we were happy, and we were. The staff is amazing. Patrizia's, as busy as it is all the time, never fails to provide the most delicious and fresh food and in abundance of it. The staff is very attentive and all work well together. “This place is a hidden gem. It is a must when you want Indian food. I love coming here with my family. Chicken tiki masala is the best. Mango lassi is also very good and garlic naan is a must in your order. I have tried other places around Long Island and Queens and this place is still the very best. Their service is exceptional. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect — the location, ambiance, food, and service were all spectacular. I hope I’m spelling his name correctly, but Fasbiender was incredibly helpful and kind, as were the other servers who took great care of our party. Caitlyn, who helped us with the booking and made sure everything ran smoothly, was such a pleasure to work with. She was quick to respond, attentive to every detail, and made the planning process completely seamless.

Both Fasbiender and Caitlyn are wonderful assets to the restaurant. Because of them, you’ve earned a returning customer — and several of our guests who live nearby mentioned they’ll be coming back too!

“The Davenport Press in Mineola NY has been around for many years, and I just had the opportunity to go there for the very first time. I absolutely loved it. The ambiance is wonderful.. it's like a trip back in time. White tablecloths, the most exceptional staff and service and last but certainly not least the food was amazing. I had the lobster tails and my husband had the prime rib, both were delicious. I hope the Davenport stays with us for a long time to come.. I give it a ten out of ten and then some.“

“I came here for fresh seafood and ended up purchasing several prepared food items, since those are easy and looked well made. I tried both seafood and vegetable dishes. All were fresh and tasted delicious. I care about fresh seafood. Prices are not cheap, but with seafood, quality really matters. There also appears to be a sushi restaurant onsite, which I'll have to try next time I'm in town. Roslyn is fortunate to have several local gourmet markets and this counts.“

“This place was AMAZING! I never came here before they renovated, but the interior is so beautiful and well thought out, so great job to them! The environment, the staff, the FOOD! Absolutely no notes.

We had a variety of amazing apps (not pictured). Started with the tuna tartar, meatballs (10/10 wish I had a second order of them), and the garlic bread sticks. Everything was cooked so well, while presentation was just as great.

Next the dinner. We had a steak, the pork shank, a salad, and a surf and turf (off menu) that was a full steak with clam stuffed shrimp. Steaks were perfectly medium rare and tender, the pork shank was so tender it was falling off the bone (in the best way), and even the simple salad was fresh and tasty.

Now the dessert. Everything is made by either the head chef, the soup chef, or the waitress. Each one is better than the next. Personal favorite: the dark chocolate cake. My girlfriend, who hates coconut, tried the coconut cream pie and said "wow. I might like coconut now". Her personal favorite is the bread pudding bites.

After dinner we sat at the bar and had a couple drinks while chatting with the bartender, who is so attentive and friendly! Lots of regulars and locals here, but it's part of what made the whole evening so lovely! We will DEFINITELY be back!“

From the private dining hall, to our menu options (Crab stuffed Salmon, Surf & Turf Prime Burger & Mango Shrimp Skewers), to our wonderful server Danielle, we had a great time. Thank you manager Lee for your attention to our party. Big, big shout out to owner, Bryant Postell for making the plans seamless & easy for us. “We were a party of 11 people and the service wasn’t good. The waiters were not friendly. They gave us a very small basket of bread for a table of 11 people, and their tables are huge. I asked for another one and they took forever to bring it. I guess they don’t care because their tip is already included in the check. And I usually tip 20 to 25%, but not this time. It’s a nice place, the food is okay, but won’t be visiting again because of the service. You don’t feel welcome as soon as you come in.“
