“Quick eats spot that I think is underrated. Amount of food is reasonable for the price and not to mention delicious. I ordered takeout but there are about 3 tables in the restaurant for dine-in. Also, it’s a mom and pop shop and their daughter works the register. They’re super respectful and sweet. You should definitely go support them and try their yummy food!“

“I have been coming here for the past 8 years or so. The food is amazing, it’s been consistent every time I come. The staff is attentive and make sure their guests are doing well and continuously asking if we need anything. I love their drinks, I’ve had mojitos, margaritas, etc. Lorenzo always welcomes my friends and myself with a smile and amazing energy. The atmosphere has progressed overtime and keeps getting better. I highly recommend coming to visit hungry burrito for delicious food, great drinks, and a great time.“

“I did enjoy the food at Hellbender, but the service could have been better.
We were among the first guests seated, yet it still took about 5–8 minutes for our server to notice us and bring water.

The portion size of aguachile is quite small, considering the price. The Brussels sprouts lacked flavor.

On the positive side, the empanada was amazing, as were the mushroom tacos and fried cheese.

Update: The brunch menu is so good and tasty. The service was much better than our previous visit.“

“The quintessential Mexican food in NYC experience. Fast attentive service, family owned and operated, delicious, mexican comfort food.

The tamales were huge for only $3.50 and I tried one of each, also maybe the best tamales I've ever had.

Also tried the chicken mole, it was absolutely scrumptious. Perfectly cooked and the mole sauce super rich and finger licking delicious.

Ordered 4 different tacos, the chorizo was the favorite of the day.“

Our only issue was when we arrived there wasn’t any music playing for a while and out of nowhere loud music started playing which threw us off as we were sitting by a speaker. “I had a great experience at La Casita Mexican Restaurant. The customer service was friendly and attentive, which really made the visit enjoyable. The space is a bit on the smaller side, so on busy weekends you can expect a wait.

Parking can be a challenge in the area due to restrictions, so plan ahead if you’re driving. That said, the food was excellent with a very authentic taste, and the drinks were well made and refreshing.

“Edit: I reduced my review from 5 to 4 stars. I’ve noticed in the last several months, the portions have been noticeably reduced. The seitan burrito is ~20% smaller than it used to be. Still very tasty, but the portions are now a little disappointing in comparison.

He let us know they have different cook times and asked if we wanted everything served together or as it was ready. Food was great! Not too heavy or greasy. The quesadillas are handmade tortillas that are thin, light but pliable and filled with a small amount of cheese and your choice of filling. They are topped with crispy, refreshing lettuce and crema with both green or red salsa on the side. The tlacoyo was a thicker tortilla with melted cheese and filling inside and again topped with refreshing lettuce and crema and salsa on the side. We sat on the side where stools are provided. Great food and friendly service.“
