“Stopped here on a Sunday night as they were about to close they were pretty much out of everything. Kerry Ann was kind enough to make us some fresh fried fish and chicken topped it off with some extras. Super amazing customer service. Their coconut drops and peanut cake reminded me so much of back home, jamaica. Overall I had a great experience and will definitely stop by if I'm ever in the area.“

“My husband surprised me with brunch at this establishment for a pre-birthday celebration. This was my very first time here. Firstly, our waiter Christan was AMAZING! He was pleasant, professional, and had a great sense of humor. Right off the back I was pleased. The environment gave me classy, but a chilled vibe. I had the shrimp with grits with creole sauce. It was very delicious. I was not a fan of the creole sauce but only because that's not my thing. I just wanted to try it. The shrimp and potatoes that came with it were amazing! With a glass of mimosa (my first mimosa). My daughter enjoyed her food and so did my husband. Over all, the experience we had was a 10. And, trust, I can be picky, so this says a lot coming from me. Very clean environment, including the bathrooms. It was a really nice experience. Perfect for the occasion. Thank you husband.“

“Wow. Lemme just say this restaurant is my new favorite in all of Flushing, let alone the best Hunan restaurant in America. Spicy lovers this will definitely hit home with the boiled sauerkraut fish, braised lamb and minced meat with peppers. The brown sugar glutinous rice is to die for. Will be back very soon, probably tomorrow.“

“Came here for lunch because I’ve been craving some hotpot. I’m so glad I did. They have a wide selection of meats, seafood and veggies. I had the pork neck soup base which was rich and delicious. My favorite cut of meat so fat is the snowflake beef. It’s fatty, buttery and tender. The kimchi is amazing as well. Customer service is great. They leave you alone while still being attentive. And just in case they aren’t around, there’s a call bell. The seating is very private. They have booths that can close for even more privacy. The booths seat 6. Definitely recommend!“

I recently dined at Peter Clam Bar, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and the inviting aroma of fresh seafood. The atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant — the kind of place where you can enjoy a great meal with friends or have a quiet dinner by the water.
Every dish was a standout. The clam chowder was rich and flavorful, packed with fresh clams and perfectly balanced seasoning. The grilled lobster tail was tender and buttery, cooked to perfection. I also tried the seafood platter, and every bite — from the shrimp to the scallops — tasted incredibly fresh and expertly prepared.
The service was top-notch, with the staff being friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s rare to find a restaurant that gets everything right — food, service, and atmosphere — but Peter Clam Bar truly delivers on all fronts.
If you love seafood, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!“

“I've been to a lot of hotpot restaurants in the city. BeiJin Hotpot is a very average hotpot place. It's good, but hotpot is always good. Nothing exceptional for the price. The meat was good, maybe if we ordered different types of meat we would've had a better experience. There's nothing wrong with our dinner; we were just a bit disappointed. All in all, for the price range there are better places to go to.“

“My wife & I dined here from a friend's recommendation. The service was excellent, where the waiter would check on us and ask how the food was multiple times. The food was delicious. The dish we highly recommend is the lobster mac & cheese. It was flavorful and amazing. We also ordered the catfish platter, softshell crab platter, crabcakes, cajun rice with chicken & cajun pasta with shrimp. They were all pretty great. The strawberry lemonade hits the spot for sure. The restaurant has a parking lot, as well as street parking. A++ recommended.“

“This is not Deoksugung Palace, but has been changed to a raw fish restaurant. We went to Wassada Hoepocha for lunch, and the two of us ordered a large portion of assorted raw fish and ate a lot. If you go to other places, they serve a lot of sukidashi, but the sashimi is served in 4 pieces of each type on top of something like a stone, and they use dry ice to create an optical illusion, but here, the sukidashi is served simply, but the sashimi is really steamed and served in abundance. The salmon is eaten with red pepper paste and wasabi sauce, the tuna is wrapped in seaweed and dipped in oil sauce, and the flounder is eaten with ssam sauce, so it's really delicious. The sashimi was so plentiful and fresh that I thanked the chef and he really impressed me. The owner served me very kindly, so I enjoyed my meal. Oh, and after you finish eating all the raw fish, spicy spicy spicy stew is served in an earthen pot, so make sure to save some. There is a $20 difference between the medium size and the large size, so I ordered a large size to try to eat as much raw fish as I could, but I ended up getting so full that I ended up packing the rest. This is enough for two people to eat together. I think I will eat it generously. Sea Story was $200 for 4 people a few years ago, but it seems to have gone up now. This is a place where 4 people can fill their stomachs with sashimi for half the price. I highly recommend it to those who are serious about sukidashi.“
