“First met Danny & his family at their restaurant in Upper Nyack, Casa del Mare. It was our hometown favorite & sad when they closed. THEN we found him here, in Irvington! No place better for pizza, garlic knots & many other favorites. They treat you like family & are always happy to see their Rockland families. It’s worth the trip over the TZ Bridge!! Go & see for yourself! 5 stars for sure!!“

“You probably wanna order take out or delivery, but I ate inside anyway. It’s warm and friendly and Tony, the owner and his chef are amazing gentlemen. “The first pie I had from John at Fenice was the Detroit Red...which Tony picked up for me last week when i was at work...i finished the whole pie by just after midnight...but I had to go for the regular NY Cheese pie fresh from the oven. We scored one of the two tables there and were able to decide which of the other slices to bring home...it was like a pizza candy store. We didn't finish our pie so brought home two slices, and I wanted to try John's sicilian, I couldn't leave there without a Detroit Red slice and Tony wanted the multi cheese white pizza...every pizza we tried was perfect! something about the dough. The sauce. The cheese. The dough for the Sicilian and the Detroit Red was light and perfectly crunchy on the bottom. Flavor out of this world. We drove from White Plains just to try Pizza Fenice. worth the trip.“

“This was my first time entering this pizza shop. My husband works at the hospital, so I caught the train to New Rochelle to meet him but I was very hungry and was craving pizza all day. I googled pizza shop near me and I believe 3 popped up. Well I chose Mario’s shop, and was not disappointed. Something about that pizza sauce was different. It was so delicious and the crunchy crust was everything!!!! My husband told me I made a “good choice” after he swallowed his slices lol. I’m adding this shot to my list for sure. I recently moved from New York City to Valley Cottage in Rockland County and have been searching for a real NYC-style pizza place. After trying a few spots nearby, I finally found Village Pizza in Nyack — and it’s exactly what I was hoping for!

Tony is super friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The service is quick, the staff is great, and the pizza is absolutely delicious — thin crust, perfectly cooked, and tastes just like classic New York City pizza. They even have an extra-large 18-inch pie, which is a huge plus.

They also offer delivery, which is super convenient. If you’re craving genuine NYC-style pizza in Rockland County, Village Pizza is the real deal! 🍕“

“We stopped here while traveling from RI to PA and WOW are we glad we did. We needed a place to accommodate our small pup so we stopped to ask if they had outdoor seating. They didn’t but they created it by carrying a table and chairs outside for us - talk about customer service! Nick was such a fantastic host - setting us up, providing exceptional service and great conversation! I also can’t forget to mention how incredible the pizza and chicken roll were! This place is a 10/10 and we will definitely find a reason to stop back again!“

It took forever to get menus (we had to ask eventually) and it was almost half hour before we got our drinks and placed our order. Even more odd, we never knew who our waiter was. Normally they introduce themselves but I felt like we ordered from two or three different people. The value and quality was great. The amount of food we got for the price was enough to feed more than our table of 5. This is good value spot for big families to get an affordable and quality dinner Overall, not a terrible experience and would try again. If the service had been on par, this would've been a 5 easily.“

I really wasn’t expecting much considering it’s literally a truck on the side of the road randomly in the industrial part of Yonkers but I was absolutely blown away.
