“I’ve struggled with finding really delicious wings in the area. It seems like Buffalo was the only place to go-until now. I was recommended to this place and I’m very happy with the quality of the wings. I had Thai and extra hot wings. The only thing is that the extra hot wasn’t hot at all to me. But that’s just me and that certainly doesn’t take away from the quality of the food and the excellent service. Next time I’ll just specify exactly how hot I want the wings. I highly recommend Hickory to anyone who is looking for delicious smoked food.“

“We came to get takeout for our anniversary and we were not disappointed! Mercedes and Team are so kind and generous and the food matched their energy - clearly made with love! We had the fish plate with 2 sides (Mac and cheese and coleslaw) the fried chicken plate with 2 sides (Mac and cheese and potato salad) and their dessert - coconut pineapple cake in a cup. All the food was excellent, especially the fried fish. Beautifully seasoned and prepared! Mac and cheese is very flavorful and cheesy. Both the salads were good and I look forward to trying more sides! The desserts were phenomenal and we even got to try the sweet potato cheesecake which is SUBLIME and some sweet potato cornbread which was heavenly! You can be sure we will be back again!“

I had the Biggie chicken sandwich, and the chicken was seasoned to perfection. Rosanna was such a pleasure to chat with during our meal — super friendly and full of great insights about the area. “Usually offers good bread. But is very wishy washy on their "old bread sales" prices. If it's a day old it should be discounted - period. (I have worked for almost four years in a bakery) This is being aggregated by the fact that I was not notified of this pricing structure when I asked for day old bread (with the specific intend to get a discount for something that is not fresh and won't last me as long). Had I been informed about this, I would have just bought the same bread *fresh* - for the *same price*. I feel that the omission of this fact is even done purposely to mislead customers.“

It has the same welcoming atmosphere as its previous location, but this is so much better! Food and service are great, and they have been very busy since opening a few weeks ago. If you want to ensure that you can get a table, make a reservation in advance!“

“Cute spot. Good sandwiches. If you’re looking for really good homemade deli style sandwiches and dishes look no further. Great staff. It did take a bit of time for a takeout order but that’s because they make everything fresh. Try the specials especially the blackened chicken if they have it.“

“In town for a short visit with Friends and this spot was perfect. Since we were traveling with our dog we needed a spot with outdoor seating. The waitress was really nice and even brought our dog some water, and she was super patient with our party. Our group ordered a few items, including some drinks, and everything was good and filling. The atmosphere was really nice. Since it was later in the evening parking was free. The menu had a good selection of Gluten-free items. Chicken wrap, Stuffed Shrimp, Angus burger, pear slaw, fries. All very good.

“My hubby is from NY but I'm from the South. We stopped by to get lunch after family suggested it. OMG!!!! The best sub I've ever tasted. I got The Big and he got The Godfather. Can't wait to visit again. Not only was the food awesome but the staff were friendly and prices reasonable :)“

Also very reasonably priced. The woman at the to go counter was very nice too. She does a good job. I wish I would've tipped more now, but now I know for next time. Most places always forget something or mess up something, but my dinner was spot on. My order was ready right on time as well.“
