“Hilltop catered our wedding this past Saturday for over 200 people and it was absolutely incredible!!! We knew from our tasting that Hilltop was our winner! Everything was amazing; the display, the service, the ease and speed of the buffet and most importantly the food!!! We had people coming up to us all night raving about how this was the best food they have ever had at a wedding and people called and sent texts the next day still raving! Crystal is amazing and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a perfect celebration! We cannot thank Hilltop enough for helping us have the wedding of our dreams!”

“We always enjoy our trips to Shamus. We enjoy everything about the experience. Very pleasant people and excellent background music. My fish and chips was very good and they had no problem with a substitution. My wife ordered twin filets. We've found many restaurants are using tenderizer on their meat. No so here. The filets were outstanding. While there, we ordered the beef with Stout gravy to take out. It's been excellent at the restaurant, but the takeout was just marginal. The gravy was milky and the flavor rather bland. Hopefully they haven't changed the recipe from the rich brown stout gravy. That's the only reason the food didn't get five stars. WE aren't really dessert people, but in the past we've had no complaints on that front. Shamus is our home away from home for a great meal with really nice atmosphere.”

“They do indeed have fast delivery. I have never had a problem with that. However, I ordered an antipasto salad. it was very sad. I have ordered this item several times burn as delivery and in the restaurant. it has always been a very large salad. It should be at $16.99. This time it was not a large salad. it would maybe feed 2. Every time I've ordered it I was able to have 4 good size meals. The toppings were making, and the delivered it with the warm bread on top of the salad. Management was almost on the argumenative side. Not an item I'll order fir derive again”

They are literally the most responsive business I have ever worked with -- from emails to phone calls to answering every little tiny question I had, they were always so willing to help and offer input and make our wedding absolutely perfect. On our wedding day we had the NICEST catering staff and literally the most amazing bartenders. My husband and I are absolutely thrilled with our experience, and even though I'm all the way in Michigan, I have recommended them nonstop and had so many good things to say! I appreciate Spring Lake SO much for helping to make our day perfect!”

“It's a great ice cream shop, standard Perry's ice cream, but they do a lot of cool stuff with it. Their slices of ice cream cake are super creative and top notch. Really good place to go. Be warned, the line can be pretty long and it's not the greatest parking lot but don't let that stop you.”

Diane is so efficient and friendly. Just today, we discovered that she is our barber's mother-in-law! Sanitary Barbershop is another Lockport favorite, family- owned business, likewise, friendly and efficient. Cousin's Cafe's decor takes you back through the years. It's a walk down memory lane providing our children a taste of what life was like when my husband and I were growing up. “We held a rehearsal dinner picnic at the Widewaters pavilion tonight. We told the manager a week ago, and asked if he could accommodate approximately 30 people. He brought on extra staff and provided such great service! He even delivered the meals to the pavilion and brought a condiment bar over for us! Thanks for taking the stress out of the dinner!”

“I have been enjoying this par 3 golf course for years. The course is well maintained and a fun place to play. The owners and staff are exceptional! The food is always delicious and I am particularly fond of their Garlic Parmesan baked fish. There is a full bar and friendly bartenders where you can relax after golf on their beautiful patio. I highly recommend Gothic Hill Golf course.”

“I recently placed a large order. The food was excellent and nothing was forgotten in the order. Lo mein, crab rangoon, and sesame chicken were great. My favorite is the crispy noodles for the soup. Service was fast and staff very friendly. This is the best place in Lockport for Chinese takeout.”

“So I did a rapid pickup via the app. When I got to the store to look on the shelf my food was already gone. When I asked at counter, manager check and told me someone must of took it and was super apologetic. I doubt it was someone accidentally taking the wrong one, my name would have been on the bag and there are not many with my last name. They re-made it all super quick, and upgraded my drink. They were super kind about and offered my a cookie too. The manager apologized again when she handed me my food, I told her it’s all good. It was was out of their control, but they handled the situation with kindness and professionalism.”

“Jason, the kitchen manager, was easily the highlight of our visit. I was there with my elderly father, and Jason went out of his way to be kind and genuinely helpful.

Usually, if you see a manager walking around checking on tables, it’s a front-of-house manager. Having the kitchen manager personally come out to check on our food and ask if we needed anything else was a fantastic touch. You just don't see that level of care very often anymore.

I was really disappointed when the Applebee's on the Boulevard and Transit in East Amherst closed down, but starting to come to this location has completely made up for it. I'm so glad we made the switch!”
