“This pub has been here serving the locals for what seems like forever. It has been there at least since the early 70s. If dad wasn't home, you knew where he was.Other then the VT and the village cafe, this was the place for dinner on Friday nights.“

“I don't know why it took me so long to get to this place, but it was so worth it. Great for a date better with the family. Maybe next time we'll attempt their challenge, but you better be hungry. A must try if you're in the Syracuse Camillus area.“

“Always a good choice. They do breakfast and lunch. Servers are very friendly. It has a small town-like atmosphere as a lot of regulars go here. The food is fantastic. There is sometimes a wait around 11 or so for a table but usually there are a few counter spots open. Check them out“

“Lovely place my sister discovered and recommended. I had the chicken broccoli Alfredo dish, and my husband had the quesadillas. It was a very large platter and was good since I like garlic, but if you don't, that wouldn't be the dish for you! I tried their root beer, and it too was very good. My husband has the black tea and thought it could have been a touch sweeter. We were too full to try the ice cream.“

“Wow! Best pizza I've had in a long time. We we're visiting from Canada and popped in for a slice. Delicious. The dough was out of this world, just like Grandmas home made bread. The sauce was perfect. Try them if you haven't. You won't be disappointed. These service was top notch. Great job!“

“Went to the cider mill for the first time and had a great experience. I'm not usually an appetizer person but I like bread before my meal. You have to pay extra for the bread but I would not skip out! The focaccia was delicious and flavorful and I liked the tomato oil it came with. The apple cider donut was amazing as well. Overall great food and service.“

“The place was really cozy inside and it felt very welcoming.The food was great. My muffin breakfast sandwich was terrific, way better than a McDonald's sandwich. My children really enjoyed their pancakes which the waitress happily split for them to share.The coffee was hot and freshened regularly. Overall, I would say this is a great option if you happen to be in the area and looking for a breakfast place.Parking: You won't have a problem finding a spot.Kid-friendliness: Our kids had a great time here and seemed very family friendly. “I had a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner here and I will be back, but I'll be honest, I wasn't excited about going here. I left so pleasantly surprised after a terrific experience. So, the resteraunt is inside of an old house on a beautiful piece of farm land. It's clearly an older house, which I believe is historic. The inside was dated, but well maintained and very clean. By the end of the experience, I totally understood it. It was a vibe. It reminded me of resteraunts from the 90s, but everything was well maintained and again, very clean. The background music was an eclectic mix of 80s and 90s love songs (it was Valentines Day after all). So, initially I was hesitant based on the menu. It was full of classic dining dishes. There was nothing modern or innovative. BUT they pull off the classics very well and reminded us just why the classics are the classics. Very well done, Chef. We had the Beef Wellington, Lobster Bisque, French Onion Soup, the Calamari Special, a Baked Shrimp and Crab dish, and a Triple Chocolate Cake and Pecan Cheesecake. The main courses came with a salad, which we substituted for the Cesar Salad. The soups were terrific. No complaints. Bold and full of flavor. They tasted exactly how they're supposed to taste. The Calamari special was different. The Calamari was cut into strips. Lightly flash fried and seasoned well. It was paired with a unique sauce. I have to be honest, I don't remember what it was, but I really enjoyed it. The main courses had a basic plating. Based on appearances, I would have said, "ehhhh." The dishes were however executed very well. The Beef Wellington was excellent. Chef Gordon Ramsey would have approved. The Baked Shrimp and Crab was good, the flavor was there, but the shrimp were just slightly over cooked...which is very easy to do, so I'm not going to knock them too hard on this. It wasn't enough to ruin the dish. The Cesar Salad tasted exactly as it should. I would get it again. As for the deserts, I really enjoyed both. The cheesecake was surprisingly light, which was great because after a heavier meal I wasn't sure I could do desert. The crust was made up of pecans. It was great. If you like pecans you will like this. Now the triple chocolate cake. Decadent. Death by chocolate. Loved it. Lastly, I just want to touch on the service. Everyone was very friendly and professional - from coat check, to hostess, to our server (whose name I forgot!). Our server really helped make this a special night. Attentive, professional, and personable. I'll def. be back. I want to take my parents here when they visit.“

“Stopped today to enjoy an outdoor meal on a nice day. Was not sure what to expect food-wise. Pleasantly surprised ! The burgers are fabulous, the "pudder" burger was made to order,cooked to perfection, and the toppings were extremely fresh. While my wife had ice cream for dessert, I had another pudder burger ! My new fav place for a burgers“

“Go Here. We started with the fish appetizer plenty of fresh and hot with a dilly tartar dip. 5/5 would recommend. I got the Birds and the Bees (chicken and waffles) perfect portions, not too much chicken not too much waffle. The chicken was crispy the waffle was crisp with a fluffy center. The hot honey dressing complimented the plate and the extra was great for dipping the sweet potato fries. Pickles on top were a great finisher and made balance the sweet and hot.My counter-part (my dad) had never had osso bucco, but as a farmer who knows meats states it was great fall off the bone tender with a great gravy.“

“Last night for our girls night out we decided to stopped in here. Everything we had tasted great, my friends had avocado egg rolls, fish tacos(to me it was more of a quesadilla shape wise) and margherita stone fire pizza. I had the kung pao noodles. We all enjoyed everything we had and our drinks of choice were strawberry basil martini, blueberry burst martini and I had the black cherry mojito. Service was good and attentive. Dine in or takeout I've never had a bad meal here. “Tried Nestico's Too today for the first time and will definitely return! They have a nice variety of items to choose from and have something for everyone on their menu. Unlike the main Nestico's restaurant, they're more like a diner, but also have excellent food. It was really hard to decide what to order because there were many items that sounded delicious. I sat close to the counter and was able to see other people's orders and everything looked great. The portion sizes were generous too. I also noticed they had some really good salads on their menu for those like me that love salads. However, I did not order one of their salads. I've decided to try one on another visit, possibly in the summer when it's warmer. Instead I opted for their chicken riggies, which were really tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant and if you're looking for some good riggies, give them a try! Their service was also very good and the kitchen staff is very efficient.“

“I never write reviews but have now found a reason to recognize on of the finest restaurants I've ever experienced! everyone who knows me will say I quite often criticize food or cleanlines. the food was a 20 out of 10! amazing and can't believe how slow it was yesterday (Sunday) at noon. everything was outstanding, neither overcooked or undercooked. best riggies I've ever had as shrimp are Reef Riggies instead of Chicken. “My 1st visit to Heid’s, the hotdogs have a taste like no other. I tried both the frank and the snappy and they were both equally delicious. It was a 420 mile round trip but well worth the ride. As others have said it is a bit pricey but everything is now a days. Definitely try the Churros!“

“Everyone we(my sister and I) interacted with today was super inclusive and extremely friendly. Can't say thank you enough to Tara and the 2 girls at the hostess stand. The food was super quick, as well as yummy, and our server checked up on us very frequently. Thanks for being awesome humans, y'all ☺️“

“Had to run an errand nearby so thought we'd stop for dinner. Greeted at the door by waitress who said we could seat ourselves wherever we wanted, so went to dining area window seat away from the bar. Got menus and took drink order right away. Both of us were looking for fish dinners, so ordered those, 1 with fries and slaw, other with cup of clam chowder and slaw. Was pleasantly surprised with the size of the "cup", I've had smaller bowls! The chowder was excellent, lots of clams, potatoes and hint of smokiness from either bacon or salt pork. Would definitely order the chowder again. Fish dinners came right after and there were fries on both plates, which we didn't expect, but had said something about sharing and apparently waitress asked kitchen to split them. Nice touch, and good service. Fish was very fresh haddock, crispy coating and quite tasty. Homemade tartar sauce and good coleslaw took it all the way. Can only imagine watching a sunset from this spot in summer, so we will be back.“

“I ordered the fish fry and a cup of the New England clam chowder last week for take-out and was very pleased with my meal. The fish and fries were delicious and crispy, not greasy at all and the soup was very tasty, almost like a stew with nice sized chunks of vegetables and clams. I'll be back soon!!“

“Fantastic food and drinks at great prices. If you have a good head for alcohol and want strong, well made drinks, the bartenders can't be beat. We had a birthday party there and all the other customers were so friendly and fun. It was a most memorable night.“

“Sharkey's always has good music and their atmosphere in the summer is warm and welcoming. They have summer leagues for volleyball and kickball that I enjoy doing and my parents love Bike Nights on Thursdays. The food is good and the staff is very friendly. The owner usually is around and he is very nice and customer oriented.“
