“I was looking forward to the lobster egg rolls since the reviews sounded good but they were disappointing. Crunchy on the outside but pretty flavorless on the inside. The dipping sauces helped save them. I had the Sheppard pie special which was good but my wife ordered the striped bass. Full of bones which they should have warned her about and her asparagus was very overcooked.“
“I must say! This is by far the absolute BEST Italian Restaurant I have ever had the pleasure to dine at!!! The appetizer was plentiful & delicious-greens & beans & sausage!! “Been to the Pizza Shoppe several times in the past month and a half. Let’s start with service. Fast, friendly and fantastic. I got my pizza nice and hot each time and my chocolate chip cookies were to die for. Seriously, maybe the best I have ever had.I have had several different varieties of this Detroit Style Pizza and it is second to none. It is now my go to for Pizza without a doubt.I also love the small pizza shoppe atmosphere not like one these chain pizza shops that has no personality. It was quiet and pleasant to just take a seat and enjoy my pizza. “Excellent meal last night. We dine here 4-5 times yearly, we enjoy Italian/American and it's always superb. Our meal on Friday during Lent was another winner. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were very big as always. Our server Samantha was spot on, not only with serving but her suggestion to me was great. My wife had Codfish Picatta and I had the Seafood Chippino. So good, my wife took home 1 whole piece of the two served of Cod and I had plenty of leftovers from a bowl loaded with delicious seafood. Many things make this place a must go; great food, nice atmosphere, big bar, white linen tablecloths and napkins etc. Prices are very reasonable as are drinks. Little thinks like our server taking our leftovers to wrap instead of bringing us containers to do it ourselves and the owner (Donna) being on hand to insure our satisfaction means a lot to us as frequent diners of many establishments and kind of sends Perlo's to the top echelon. I guarantee with their extensive menu, you will not be disappointed.“

“Limoncello has been on my list to try for a while. I was finally in the area and am really glad I went! The restaurant is huge inside, with mutiple rooms and sections. We went on a quiet Wednesday night and were seated in a patio type room. Our server Carolyn was friendly and accommodating. The drink list is extensive, with numerous cocktails, beer, wine, and non alcoholic choices. I had a paloma and my husband and I started with the artichoke french (tasty). For dinner, he got the gnocchi with vodka sauce and peas and I got the Portobello pappardelle. They both came with a small salad, and we got the limoncello dressing at Carolyn's suggestion. The meal was great, I had enough leftover for lunch the next day, and I'd order all of it again. I'm not in East Rochester much but this restaurant is worth a drive.“
“You should just see how busy this place gets on a weekend and rightfully so. These guys rock when it comes to pizza. they have alot of people working inside and are ready to take to your order either by phone or in-person. I tried the buffalo chicken pizza as it was recommended to me by alot of people in the Rochester area and it didn't let down...wow. I cannot wait to come back down and have some real pizza where they are not afraid to go heavy on everything. We had a drink and nothing to eat so my review should be viewed in this context.As a gluten free person (have some serious allergic reactions) i had very little to choose from which is why we only had the drinks.The service was amazing, friendly, polite. The restaurant felt a bit old and in desperate need of a refresh. I haven’t been to other Olive Gardens so it’s something that might apply to the franchise.Will I go back? Not on own accord but this says nothing about the awesome people that work there.“

“Don’t be fooled by the mall location. Cosimo’s pizza is seriously the best we’ve had in Rochester. Their pizza has great crust that is light, has perfect “pizza oven crunch” and is flavorful. Their sauce and cheese also have great flavor, and toppings are always fresh and cooked perfectly. The calzones are so filling and to die for. I don’t know why it took us so long to realize we could order full pizzas ahead of time but this is our new pizza night in go-to.“
“My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Pane Vino on the Avenue last night. All the staff were attentive, starting with the gracious hostess, the knowledgeable waiter, Nico, and the bus staff who filled our water, gave us more delicious bread and packed our leftovers to go. “I’ve lived in Rochester for over 15+ years now and it wasn’t until recently I tried Delmonico’s. I assumed with it being right across from MCC it would be packed with college kids and cheap food. Boy was I wrong. So wrong, I came back a second time just days after. This place is “the cream of the crop” when it comes to steak and service. We’ve been extremely pleased with their food and the service has been so amazing. Our waitresses have been super nice and attentive (not just checking in once and no where to be found for the night) and the managers are working hard, not just standing around. They even have checked in on us and taken plates off our table. Plan a night out, enjoy a great meal with fantastic service!!“
“We ordered our pizza using Google toast. Our pizza was done in 20 minutes and when we got it home, it was so freaking hot I had to wait to eat it. Got 2 large pizzas and wings that everybody at the party loved. I made a mistake ordering and forgot a medium special pizza for a kid w/dairy allergy and they were super accommodating and made it on site while I waited. In fact, I think either the manager or owner brought it out to my car before I even remembered to go back in AND gave it to me gratis b/c I waited for it!?!! Everyone was very nice. “I've only had pies delivered to me from these guys, so I can't speak to what happens at the mall. But I have had great experiences with their food. It's a solid NY-style pie and it is noticeably less expensive than Joe's Brooklyn or Pontillos. And despite my love for NY-style, grab a Sicilian-style pie from them. It is fantastic! Dough is thick and airy, but still firm enough to eat like a normal pizza. They have good sauce too, so pair that with a good crust and you get good pies. Good garlic knots too.CALL THEM and ask about specials. They have really good daily specials, but I only know about them because it's on the box the pie is delivered in. Don't see them on the site at all.“
“I like this Branca location best. It's a nice atmosphere but also not too elite fancy. For me I enjoyed the variety of appetizers better than my entree but it was all pretty good too. My advice is do not go when they first open, give them an hour or so.Tammy took care of us on our last visit and was wonderful. “This trip I picked up an order. The order had 3 entrees and three drinks. I arrived and called in to say I arrived for my order. Within a few short minutes someone was out to my car with the order. Easy peasy so far. Arrived back and checked the bag. The salads were correct and so were the entrees! Whew, so nice when that happens! Food was hot and delicious. The Alfredo was good, as it is always good. The is a standard with this place. Forks, spoons, and knives were there plus napkins and straws. A great feast for all.“

“Great local pizza place. Really love their buffalo chicken calzone! Not only is it just spicy enough, but they make some of the biggest calzones around, packed full with juicy buffalo chicken. Their pizzas are also really good. The only thing that sucks is having to drive all the way to Mendon for this terrific food. Very much wish the Victor location was still open!“
