“We are from out of town but visit ROC frequently because our son plays on the Jr. Amerks Juniors/NAHL team. He and some teammates discovered this place and go there for lunch literally every day they have home games. This place is the best-family owned and operated, great food great prices, great service! Tiramisu is my favorite thing in the world and Mamma G’s tiramisu is the best I have ever had. Carlo is the bomb!“

“The quality of the food here is out of this world. Portion size will have you leaving with leftovers to eat later. Hands down, the food is absolutely delish and I would come here 100 times over. “Came to Dinner tonight to celebrate our daughter’s birthday , we are not from the area , she attends st.john fisher and we were looking for a good Italian Dinner. All 6 of us had incredible Dinners . From start to finish all was amazing including our waiter who has a great sense of humor . We definitely will be returning soon . Thanks for a great evening to celebrate our Daughter! Seafood FraDiavlo , tortellini Gorgonzola, shrimp, and scallops scampi pasta were just some of the delicious dinners we had !!! Won’t be disappointed :)“

“We recently celebrated our anniversary at Pane Vino. They provided us a very quaint seat overlooking the river. They have done a nice job masking the noise level of their beautiful interior that is full of character. We interacted with 4 staff that were all very personable, professional, and efficient. The food was all exceptional and the wine list very nice. We were impressed that the owner checked on us several times, he definitely cares and pays attention to detail. We plan to return here on our next visit to the area.“

“Margherita Pizza was good. Coffee was great. Ricotta appetizer was great. Service (Connor) was excellent. We were certainly tended to! Atmosphere is roomy but cozy and not loud at all.
Update, we ate here tonight (a few years after that previous trip) and it was even better. Laura was our waitress and she's a treat! Delmonico steak special was fantastic, with cheesy bacon mashed potatoes. Steak was fatty but it was great fat. Pics to come!“

“I don't know if, behind the curtain, Olive Garden is the Chick-fil-A of sit-down restaurants and they run it like the navy. But the service has been consistently great, the servers are incredibly friendly, and the portion sizes are almost too much for my poor soul. But there's always boxes!“

“My family of 7 celebrated my daughter's birthday here on Friday, March 4.... a large variety of food choices were ordered by us and everyone was very pleased.Our server was great and very patient; even considering that it was Friday! The staff were happy to help us with the birthday cake and a song, too.? The menu is quite diverse and we all look forward to going back to sample some fish or veal.“

“Everyone has a favorite place to get delicious pizza. I encourage anyone who might be interested in trying a “prize-worthy pizza” to visit Pontillo’s in Bushnell’s Basin.
I gave 5 stars for “Atmosphere”(it is a pick-up only pizza shop)…because the busy crew behind the counter making your delicious order is friendly, entertaining and interesting to watch!
Don’t forget to order boneless wings as well.“

“We usually only order pizza (The Best) but decided to try the Thursday special, LARGE
cold sub for $10 plus a 20oz drink.
Here’s the truth…it was the best sub we’ve ever had and hubby is an expert.
Since we know the owner, we assumed he gave us the ultimate sub. Nope, when I called to thank him for the extra attention I was told that all the subs are made the same for everyone. Super impressed, highly recommend.“

“We went on 8/14/25. I tried the Abruzzi. Roasted pork, sharp provolone, broccoli rabe. But I had them throw on the roasted red peppers, which normally come on the Nellie. This is usually served as a cold sub but I asked them if they would toast the entire thing. I couldn't wait to get home. When I unwrapped that bad boy, the 1st thing I noticed when I bit into it, was the warm, toasty crunch of that bread. Then I got the porky goodness of the meat. Followed by the ever so slightly garlicky flavor of the broccoli rabe. And then the sweetness of those roasted peppers. I read some negative reviews right before we came here. Almost didn't come here because of them. All I can say guys, is I am so glad we decided to try Primo Hoagies for ourselves. Oh yeah, my partner got the Italian Diablo. He loved it, as well. I couldn't decide when I first walked in. I figured I'd get something different next time I come. But I am pretty much in love with that Abruzzi!! 💟“

“The best in this part of town for sure. It is in the historic old building on Monroe Avenue but it is huge with lots of wonderful servers there. Really diverse menu, love the salad selections. Huge bar with lots of fun people...I try to go weekly“
