“Not sure how long this place has been around but we just noticed it and decided to take my son here for his birthday. There were so many options on the menu it was a tough decision to pick. It seems to be a halal place mixed with American fair. They had items like chicken or lamb over rice but also had like burgers, chicken tender, fries and many other things. The place is kind of small so minimal season. Each table is bar style height with only 4 chairs per table. So if you have a big group I’m not sure this would be the best place. But you could always ask before hand and see what they say.

The food was fresh and tasty. The service was great they were patient and answered any questions we had about the menu. Is it fine dining? No. But as I said everything was fresh and it’s a good treat especially it’s food all kids are satisfied eating. The only thing I wish is they had a different bun selection. They had like brioche buns which are so thick especially for kids. A nice martins or any type of potato buns go best with smash burgers. I feel like brioche is just a big filler that’s not needed for a good burger. The employee did come to check on us which is nice.

As for the games it’s older games and even though my kids are young and play all these new crazy graphic games they didn’t complain. It kept them busy as we waited for the food. They sipped on their cookies and cream shakes which were also a hit.

“We had a great time and enjoyed the setting. Take the review from that guy “Will Wild” with a grain of salt. Anyone with that much time on their hands to whine about the farm and rustic tables (which didn’t phase us whatsoever and we were happy to have a place to sit outside to enjoy the live music) is not the type that should be visiting Obercreek. There are plenty of industrial breweries in the area to check out. If you expect a farm setting, that’s what you’ll get here. The beers we had were enjoyable. We are returning customers and will continue to visit. Cheers!“

The staff are truly incredible, always going above and beyond during your wedding planning process all the way through the wedding. Throughout the planning period, the bad seed team were always available whenever we had questions or needed to figure out logistics. During our wedding day they we're constantly checking in on us to make sure that we we're having a great night and our guests raved about the kindness and care they showed to them throughout the night. Plus, the cider is truly the best you can find! Speaking on the venue space itself, you cannot find a more picturesque location! Set perfectly on their own orchard, you're surrounded by beautiful foliage as far as the eye can see! And the venue itself has plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces that will charm all of your guests! We truly cannot think of a better place to have held our special day, and we're eternally grateful to Devin & the rest of the Bad Seed crew for making our day absolutely perfect! :)“

“End Cut has been our spot for special occasion dinners here and there, but tonight was a little different. On 1/26 I called to make a reservation for tonight, and to no surprise, I could not for the life of me remember if I made it for 7 or 7:30. So Michael called yesterday and unfortunately our reservation wasn’t on the books. They were completely booked but squeezed us in for 5:30. We had one of the best meals in awhile - mushroom cakes, a porterhouse for two with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese, key lime pie and two drinks each. The porterhouse for two was $115 alone.. and I have zero clue what the whole bill was because Chef Jordan took care of our e n t i r e bill. We declined many times but they insisted, so the next best thing I can think of is to recommend the heck out of a place that not only cares about their customer’s experience, but does everything 11/10 from drinks to dessert. “This months flavor is a mint mocha. I do have a sweet tooth and will admit coffee here is more of a treat for me. I see it as a caffeinated dessert. So I do enjoy coming by every now and then. My husband got the shake and he likes sweet drinks but in his opinion the salted caramel still had a coffee taste to him.“

“I would have to respectfully disagree with Chris Parker. I went to Braised Pies for the first time on Tuesday specifically to have the Cornish Pastie and I thought it was absolutely delicious. My mother was from England so I've had many pasties in my trips over there and this brought back the flavors that I remembered. I will definitely be making a return trip.“

“One of my favorite places in the whole Hudson Valley. The Dutchess Biercafe brings delicious bites and sips in virtually every single of their menu items. Too many things I like here to describe but I’ll give you my top 2:

The poutine is to die for and if you add a runny egg on top it’s somehow even better. The pretzel is perfection. It’s warm, soft, and the beer cheese they give you with it is perfectly balanced.“

“I recently stopped at the Restaurant at Apple Greens rest area along the Thruway in Upstate New York. Overall, it was a very efficient and convenient stop for a quick meal and break during the trip. I grabbed breakfast at Chick-fil-A, and though it was only my second time trying it, I enjoyed the spicy chicken biscuit—it was pretty good! There’s also a Panera Bread, Burger King, Auntie Anne’s, and a souvenir/convenience store, which offers plenty of options.

The decor is pretty basic, but it’s what you’d expect from a rest stop, so no complaints there. However, the place was quite cold, which made it a bit uncomfortable. The bathrooms, on the other hand, were very clean and well-maintained, which is always appreciated when traveling.

Overall, this rest stop gets the job done and has everything you need for a quick break. I’d recommend it if you're on the Thruway and need to stop for food or a bathroom break.“

“We stopped by in the evening after a soccer game at New Paltz. We were tired, cold and hungry. Lola's had a warm, welcoming friendly atmosphere. We ordered two salads, and a panini and a few drinks. We all enjoyed our meals and I think the Asian chicken salad was honestly the best salad I've ever had. So fresh and the chicken was tender and delicious in a peanut sauce. We hope to return and try some other dishes from the amazing menu! So glad we stopped in!“

“Wow! What a hidden gem. This place is located inside the shops at South hills, back by Orange theory. It was a little difficult to find at first, but this is an absolute must try in the Poughkeepsie area! Their products are made with all fresh ingredients, and they even grind their own peanut butter fresh daily, which I found out they also jar and sell! This place is Chic and clean and the service was incredibly friendly. I will definitely be coming back!“

“Wonderful little diner in Poughkeepsie. The food was cooked perfectly, and it felt like a true diner experience. Great pancakes, great eggs, great sauces. The price was also exceptionally reasonable. The only thing I wish they had was real maple syrup, instead of pancake syrup. I'd absolutely recommend!“

“We had an ice cream sandwich which was ginormous, would take a very ambitious recipient if up to challenge. Otherwise, split it with your beloveds! Malt shake with cookies and cream is a knocked out. Literally. The patron fell asleep right after finishing it. I tried the mint chip ice cream which was so yummy. I ended up sharing the pistachio and banana cream pie. Enjoyed real pistachios and my favorite part was the banana cream pie! So good!! Would visit again on a hot summer day.“
