I just had their brisket and handmade gefilte fish for the first time and will be craving both all year long. Both were so flavorful, tender and crowd pleasers for the entire group of kids and adults I had over for break fast. I have other family that live and work nearby and La Mer is their go to lunch and catering spot. Drove up from the Bronx and even though it was enjoyable, I won't be going back. Why? Because I hate to be "nickel & dimed" ...I never question prices. I order what I want but when the check is upwards of $70 but I see I was charged for both cups of coffee, it's a turn-off! A little advice: let your customers be aware that there are no free refills on a cup of coffee instead of surprising them with a $10 charge for coffee. Good luck!“
