I've been to many restaurants in Flushing and Manhattan and I gotta say that Spice Workshops food is even better than some of those restaurants. The flavor is very authentic to what szechuan food is suppose to be. My recommendation for ordering:

- Shredded pig feet with peppers
- Cabbage
- Sweet and sour fried crispy pork
- Hunan beef with green peppers

“Ordered from here twice and you know what, it wasnt bad at all. My family ordered the chicken n broccoli and the chicken and snowpeas large. They were both delicious. The pork fried rice is just okay it would be great it they had bigger chunks of pork in the rice. I suggest getting the regular large quarts of food rather than the combination platter because it has less food in it. Also the soup could have a better brothy taste to it. I would recommend this spot. I was also so glad that they deliver to my area. I placed the order over the phone which was pleasant and easy to understand the person on the other side. “A very unassuming appearance hides some of the best noodles I’ve ever had! Had the beef flank an it was amazing; the broth was savory, the meat came in tender cubes, and the handmade noodles were a perfect balance between soft and firm. Fried dumplings, shrimp toast, combo beef and broccoli, which comes with fried rice and an egg roll. Now for many places thus far, i have never been able to find where all the items were good. Its usually none or one or two of the items i order. ALL of it was very good! I like how you can order delivery directly from their website and pay cash upon delivery (like the good ole days!). And while its not that far, I am in Centereach and this place in in Nesconset, it is about 4 miles away which is not directly in my local area and yet it still got here pretty fast and HOT! I would definitely order from them again based on taste alone!“

“I only order from them. One time I ordered broccoli and garlic sauce, and the broccoli was a little too tough for me to chew. However, when I called them within 10 minutes, they had another order ready and dropped off to me. I called I wanted delivery which they don't do. I understand the roads are crazy, safety, they are busy cooking. They have I think GrubHub but I don't have any if those delivery apps. Anyway delivery can get expensive fuel charge, etc. Some places don't charge delivery fees, but your still tipping. Anyway they have good lunch specials. If they have cheese wontons I would try. I would hope they would be bid and filled with alot of cheese. Enjoy.“

The owners and staff are very friendly, and service is quick, even if you decide to order at the place and take out. They have lots of restaurant supplies in big cardboard boxes in eating area, which may steer most from sitting in to eat. Maybe if they have a partition between dusty boxes with supplies and the tables laid out close to them. Back to food, eggdrop soup was good. “Only one visit so far so I will adjust if need be. Fried rice was top tier for the area. So was the sesame chicken and the lo mein. The wonton soup was pretty standard but the wonton meat was really good. I think it was ginger in there that made them stand out. My only complaint was the large boneless spareribs at 18$ were very fatty. Could have been the batch so I won’t hold that against them unless it happens again.“

We always order different things to get an overall feel for the food. Wonton Egg Drop Soup is decent. Fried Dumplings are excellent. Chicken on a stick was nicely seasoned and very good. Tonight we ordered the Great Wall Special. It was great. The chicken and beef were tender. Nice sized shrimp were delicious. The roast pork was a little chewy and tough.
