Whenever you cater food it’s normal to be weary about the quality, wherever you go, not here and not with these wings. “I am not sure why it has taken my so long to write this review about one of my FAVORITE restaurants in NYC. Every single dish is made with fresh ingredients and the fresh pasta's, foccacia bread and pizza's are ALL absolutely DELICIOUS. We have gone there for lunch, brunch, dinner with just our family, on date nights, with friends, celebrated BIG celebrations there with 20 people and we are always treated like family. You truly feel like you are in Sardinia when you eat there as we know from Daniele, the chef, that so many of his recipes come right from his mom (and his sister Francesa!). We have followed our favorite waitress in NYC, Daniela, there and so grateful for her and her family. And Ruth --- another gracious staff member who greets us with hugs every time we come! I will also say their delivery is one of the best and their dishes always come piping HOT and their portions are quite big. I love the staff there and very grateful to have Arco in our neighborhood! “I chose the place for family Thanksgiving dinner based on its quaint location and reviews. We all were impressed with the menu and a recent visit too Portugal. The 4 course menu had many delicious sounding dishes so choosing was hard. We chose soup, sautéed portobello mushrooms, whole sardines, clams, grilled seafood combo and bouliabase. All soups, juices and sauces were very watery and tasteless. So was the potato garnish. The sardines and grilled seafood were well cooked and good as were the veggies. No complaints on the desert buffet. The atmosphere was great and the service was very attentive. Unfortunately, the food disappointed the 4 of us.“

However, in one instance, the chicken Francese cut was thicker and chewier than is usually the case. The tables were filled, and everyone was having a good time. Took at least 15 min for anyone to take a drink offer and then another 20 or 15 min for them to arrive. Took a while between appetizers and main course which was fine except no one ever came to clear our appetizer plates before the main dishes arrived. Hopefully management will read this and train the staff to clear dishes- even if they were short staffed- the host who was very nice was always near by- he should have seen all the dirty dishes sitting there and had someone clear them.
