“The food was surprisingly amazing. I will definitely be ordering again. the only negative was the shrimp were unpeeled and whole head on which my daughter was very upset about lol I didn't like that, not everyone wants to eat food with eyes staring at you. otherwise, the crab legs and the spice, the veggies and the incredible sauce were honestly the best I've had in a long time. my daughter said that the mango smoothie was the best...my green juice was tasty but it was pretty thick more like a smoothie lots of pulps and probably would have been much better strained but I'm definitely excited to order again and find some new favorites on the menu. Overall we loved it.“

“My wife and I stumbled onto this location one day when passing through Queens. She just wanted to grab a quick cup of coffee, but what we got was so much better than expected. We had a “flat white” which was amazing high-quality coffee. And a piece of homemade baklava. I have to say this was hands-down, The absolute BEST baklava I’ve ever had in my life and if you’re a fan of this dessert, you absolutely need to go try it for yourself. I myself, have grown-up eating plenty of baklava. In my hometown, we have one of the highest Middle Eastern populations in the country so we have plenty of great baklava but I’ve still never had it this good. It was Perfect!✨ A large quantity, but not too filling, well-defined layers, very light & flaky but still moist, and just the right amount of nuts. when you bite into it, no part of the dessert gets lost or covered up. You can taste every element standing out with prominent flavor; from the freshness of the walnuts to the sweetness of the syrup and quality of the dough. After talking to the owner for a while, she explained to us how she bakes everything herself and how she refuses to buy her desserts from bakeries or skimp out on quality even if it makes her job easier. Let me tell you, it shows! I highly respect the integrity she brings to her baking and her café. She also gave us some cookies that were amazing as well.

Now let me tell you a bit about the owners of this establishment. They’re a dedicated hard working family from Montenegro and were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met in my travels. They were VERY kind warmhearted people who opened their business up to us as if it was their home and we were long time friends, stopping by for a visit. It was honestly surreal how comfortable they made us feel. We spoke for over an hour and enjoyed their beautifully designed and well kept Café/Bar. Whenever I go to a new location, I really pay close attention to how much the owners care about their business and the customers they serve. It is by far the most important criteria. With these owners, you can tell they really put their all into the business and it is truly a family affair. I loved how the husband and wife were both there working together and even their daughter pitches in. The daughter even drew this amazing Halloween picture on the board by the entrance and you can tell how proud her parents are of her skills. I truly admire the love and attention this family puts into their business, and I can confidently say they’re the American dream in action!🇺🇸 Please go pay these guys a visit I promise you won’t be disappointed. I know for us, It will be worth it to make the trip from New Jersey to visit again soon.“

“I went into the Fantastic Foods store in Norwood, NJ for the first time and was amazed at the international food sections, as well as the cooking classes they offer. The owner proudly introduced me to the products. Before I left, as I was at the register paying for the things that I had purchased, the owner asked me if I’d like to try the pecan pie. She noticed that I was cooking tempting it. It looked so incredible I wondered if it tasted as good as it looked. When I tried a piece, I was astounded at how delicious it was! I’ve never tasted anything quite like it! I’ve never had pecan pie, but this must’ve been a cut above the rest. The cinnamon flavor was divine, and I immediately ordered a piece for myself to go. When I got into my car, I couldn’t wait! I immediately devoured my delicious pecan pie. My father used to say it was his favorite but I bet he never had anything this good!! I wish he was around so I could share it with him but it made me happy to know that I now can share his joy! I immediately texted my friends to tell them about my experience! The owner tells me that they also serve crêpes. I can’t imagine how amazing they must be. I Highly recommend Fantastic Foods to anyone who is selective in their culinary taste and looks for international foods. “The egg toasts were delectable! Actually so happy my sister and I chose to come by. It has a tiny kick of spice which was a pleasant surprise. My sister got the vanilla flat white coffee and she loved it and finished it so quickly. The only thing I wasn't over the
moon for was the corndog. I got the mozarella hot dog corn dog and it was okay. I wouldn't get it again.

The space is small but offers some seating indoors and outdoors. I will definitely try to come again for the egg toast specifically.“

“This place is pretty great. It's owned by a small family, Everytime I've come I always see the mom working, and sometimes the daughter. They have a wide selection of snacks to grab, whether it be cake or one of their made goods like a croquet or the boba. Would definitely recommend, my one negative aspect would be the music taste. It's a bit tacky and old, but not bad enough to not come.“

The chicken sandwich has a slight spice flavor but not too spicy and the garlic aioli sauce was such a great pairing with the sandwich. I really hope the chicken sandwich transitions from being a lunch special to being part of the main menu at Cafe Deux :)

“It’s my new favorite cafe in Fort Lee. I had a regular iced coffee. It was quite good. Their everything bagel was also super tasty. They also go above-and-beyond for the customers. The staff there would bring the food to us after we order. It’s so considerate since people usually have to stand up right after they just sat down while waiting for the drinks/ food to be ready. The young man there also asked me how I enjoyed my food after I was done. Moreover, I really enjoyed their playlist. They play a mix of Korean and English. The English ones were just my type. The best part, the price of their drinks/ food is very competitive compared to other cafes in the area.The only thing I think they should improve on is cleanliness. The sink area in the bathroom wasn’t clean at all. For now, it’s not a deal-breaker for me and I’d definitely be going back soon.“

“Mochi Dolci is one of my favorite places in the UWS. It's a family-owned business that TRULY CARES about the people that walk in for food, drinks, and hanging out. I love many of their #mochidonuts - classics like black sesame and taro but I love their playful ones such as fruity pebbles. Other dishes are good to such as their pork belly bao, mango salad, and dumplings. Of course, their #milktea and #bobatea are delicious. I recently tried their matcha milk tea with strawberry popping boba. Their place is cozy and welcoming. They have a speakeasy too - I have not been, but they were kind to let me explore it (with their permission). I look forward to come back for drinks and food with friends! “I was walking on Second Avenue between 74th and 73rd Streets as I was thinking, I’d like something iced and decaffeinated, when I saw Frame which has been in business for three years. Unfortunately, I only just discovered this lovely cafe. On one walk hangs over thirty 35 millimeter camers! And on the opposite wall a few vintage cameras including an old 16 millimeter movie camera, an Instamatic along with a Brownie camera. For folks like myself, Frame brings back lots of memories from the pre-digital world! And their coffee is great!“

“Lifelong Palisades resident, and have loved the 9W Market/The Filling Station since it opened back in 2011! A HUGE improvement over the previous ownership when it was called the Palisades Market which opened in the spring of 2010 and was only open for a few months and then closed. I was so disappointed with the Palisades Market because it lacked a decent food selection and this community needed something so much more. Luckily, the owners of the 9W Market have done such an amazing job! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The atmosphere and ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil! Love the bistro theme on the indoor side and picnic theme by the filling station burger stand. Not to mention, the burgers are the best I’ve ever had! Made with high quality grass fed beef! This is gourmet nyc restaurant style food right in our local neighborhood! Keep up the great work!“

“Adorable cafe conveniently located a couple blocks from the train! Very friendly and attentive service, warm welcoming and clean atmosphere. The pastries looks amazing, but got the breakfast wrap (you'll have to order a side if you're hungry) and the 3 egg omelette with homefries and toast were more filling and served hot. Such a great local place and cute seating in the front. Enjoy!“
