This is definitely top tier Halal Food in Westchester County! The lamb over rice is DELICIOUS & fresh! I’m definitely coming back!“

“The food in Amazing Chicken & Gyro is a great price and tastes great especially for the price. They are fully halal which is amazing and allows for everyone to enjoy along with the full range of a menu catering to everyone. I would recommend especially the chicken wings with mango habanero and the Gyro Salad with white sauce!Vegetarian options: They have salads and vegetarian gyro along with a few other options.“

“The staff at Antioch Restaurant were attentive and explained the items that were brought out.- The offered a great wine selection and is BYOB.-Karişik meze starter : Fried Eggplant With Tomato Sauce, Hummus, Tatziki, Eggplant Salad, Babaganush, and Labne were absolutely delicious-Every dish was flavorful and highlighted Mediterranean spices. My favorites were the Lamb Adana, grilled meatballs and balloon bread paired with the Karişik meze tabaği.-I also thoroughly enjoyed the Sutlac (rice pudding) and kazandibi (milk pudding). Every time my husband and i visit NY from FL we not only make it a priority to enjoy lunch there but we call a few days in advance and order Sausage to take back home with us! “Just had an egg, cheese and Turkish sausage on a croissant with small coffee, light and sweet. This hidden gem (because it’s in a parking lot of a gas station, is amazing. This sandwich is the best I’ve ever had, and the coffee (he warmed the cream) was perfection. Going to come back for some lunch and dinner - definitely my new favorite spot.“

“Please see my prior review cus these folks rock, but:I had the aloo tikki sandwich sober. And the flavors are there, but the sandwich is really just two potato patties on a bun with lettuce, tomato, and onion. The sandwich is messy and underwhelming. I recommend they ditch that and focus on the aloo tikki patties with sauce.I also had the fries without cheese sauce, and thru are delightful either way--with cheese sauce or without.“

“This is by far the best place to get halal food in College point; maybe all of Queens. And all of it is served from an unassuming cart infront of a gas station. For less than 10 dollars you could get high quality halal food freshly made and be extremely filling- I’ve gone days where that was my only meal before.“

“I have Dave's Hot Chicken another try and this time it was so much better! The chicken was really spicy which is what I wanted. I also tried the cauliflower bites which I loved, and the cheese fries which were nice and crispy. I'll definitely be a regular here in the future.“

“I have ordered catering to the UES many times over the past year and this is always a top hit for lunch! Everyone in my office looks forward to the delicious mixed pita and sandwich trays. The prices are right for the value, because these are loaded with goodies. It is not easy to please everyone, but with Shawarmania, there is something for everyone. Despite our distance from the restaurant, the food always arrives perfectly on time and hot! I especially love that there are vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. “Great food, American flavor, Halal style.I really enjoyed the food and look forward to try all the other burgers from the menu. I highly recommended it. If the community was missing something, it would be “good” halal burgers. And these guys got it! You just might miss the dipping sauce when ordering through Uber Eats. You have to pay 1.50 for dipping cups otherwise just eat your nuggets dry.“

“They’re the fastest, best tasting, most consistent, and best service out of all the food trucks and Halal platters in Astoria. Absolute best. I promise anyone that says otherwise are idiots. “We had a great big lunch there today and it was really excellent and the prices were very fair. I loved my Punjabi curried egg, which I had never heard of before, and the others loved their paneer makhani and chicken tikka masala, as well as bread, samosas and spring rolls. Service excellent. Atmosphere not at all fancy but really friendly, two plain big tables, fun to watch all the regulars come in for their takeout. Super owners. Highly recommended!“

“I finally gave Shah's a try, and I'm honestly so glad I did. This is my go-to for Halal food now. The lamb is so juicy and the chicken is moist and flavorful. The green sauce is so amazing. Could drink a gallon of that stuff. Decent amount of food for a decent price. Will go here from now on instead of Halal Guys.“

“I tried Agora for the first time yesterday with my family around lunch time and we all LOVED it! Nothing was left over LOL. We went around 3:00 on a Wednesday and it was perfect because it was calm. Food didn't take long and it came out amazing. The waitress was super nice and always refilled our waters and made sure everything was perfect. The atmosphere makes it feel like you're in Turkey, it's a nice little getaway from the concrete jungle right outside the door. Overall, amazing food and atmosphere and I highly recommend!“

“Great local Indian food! After walking by this place several times with my wife we finally decided to stop by for lunch, I now I have to live with the regret of having discovered this place with only weeks left before we move away from NYC. This place would have definitely become one of our regular neighborhood dinner spots. Food was fresh and perfectly seasoned, veg samosas were perfect, rice nice, flaky and refreshing. Service was nice given we were one of two tables early in the day. Check these guys out this place is unassuming and definitely a sleeper.“

“i was looking for a african restaraunt to eat at while in nyc. i found this place and went with my girl and was surprised at how much of that good west african food they gave us. spicy chicken, plantains, fried fish, and kous-kous. it was delicious especially the spicy chicken with salad. we took the food back to our airbnb and ate it for 2days. we spent 15 each for our individual meal with a side.“
