“My husband and I were at Broken Bow. I ordered at Ran & Gui's kitchen the last minute. So, I ordered whatever they had left which was the catfish bits, BBQ chicken wings, and chicken tenders. I have had catfish in the past which was flavorless. However, Ran & Gui's catfish bites was so flavorful that I didn't need the tartar sauce to enjoy them. My husband loved their chicken tenders and he mostly ate them without the honey mustard sauce. As far as the BBQ chicken wings, they were like regular BBQ chicken wings. We will definitely come back for the catfish and chicken tenders 😊.“

“I finally came here after years of hearing about this place and trying many different options from places in New Rochelle all the way to Nyack. Although the atmosphere is minimal the food is delicious and plentiful. I felt as if I was picking up plates of soul food from my church ladies with the gospel music playing which I did not mind.

I ordered three dinners we tried the fried chicken, collards, yams and one order of mac and cheese that was a mistake we should have gotten more and order of peach cobbler. As my daughter described it she felt like eating this food was like getting a hug from a grandma! None of the food is overly seasoned which my husband and I prefer but seems to be the common mistake a lot of soul food locations are making.

There is a detour near the location which makes parking a little bit of a challenge however, that will not stop me from returning.“

“I never eat chicken breast because they are too dry, but I can say this is the best fried chicken I’ve eaten from a restaurant. Juicy not greasy I wasn’t tired after I ate the meal absolutely delicious!“

“It was Sunday and I always cook for my elderly dad and myself but this Sunday I was not in the mood to be over a hot stove. I went on the internet and saw rave reviews about Kadyah Soul and told myself I would give it a try. I ordered the Turkey Wings for Dad and Jerk Chicken for myself...long story short...It was the best ordered food I ever had and my dad was SUPER pleased and he is hard to please! “I knew the name because I've been to the Queens location many times. Im happy they decided to bring soulfood to Yonkers. The people that work there are a great vibe which you want when they are making your food. Ive had many things there. My favorites are the flavored wingettes, macaroni/cheese, yams, and the vegetables. They make great desserts as well as there flavored juices. You can't go wrong going to Vibes for your lunch or dinner.“

“First time at Amy Ruth’s and it did not disappoint. We were immediately greeted and seated. The waitress was attentive and wonderful. We definitely didn’t feel rushed which was great. This way we could throughly enjoy the meal and also just our lunch conversation.

Restaurant is so spacious that we had our privacy. Unlike a lot of NYC restaurants where tables are so close together.

Most important the food. The food was well worth the trip from Jersey. It was the best fried chicken I’ve had. All the sides were a great enhancement to the meal. Really delicious. Of course we had to finish our meal with dessert. We selected two items made in-house and they did not disappoint.

Only negative is that I’m not closer to the restaurant to eat there more often. Definitely worth the trip and highly recommended for a meal that just feels like comfort.

“Everything on my plate tasted good, and I didn’t get to eat it till it was cold! There was a buffet which I found surprising and they charge by the pound - about $8/lb. The little butterflied fried shrimp tasted the best. Delish… The chicken had a very good flavor- fried and bbq. They have a homemade hot sauce, it has a good flavor, tastes like pepper sauce, meaning habanero/scotch bonnet . Only a little is needed not to overpower.. And it is Hawt!! 🌶️ If you like sweet greens, that’s what they have. I prefer no sweet but they were still good. The only con was, you could see the old glory days that must have been in there. The decor especially in the bathroom is a lil dull grunge unfortunately in need of a little love and maintenance. I would still eat here again though. That’s the only reason they didn’t get a 5

Here is the biggest PRO… a budget tip : If you’re headed to LGA, LaGuardia airport especially with a large family stop here… get your plate instead of the $20 plate at the airport. Large variety of tasty options Good to go“
