“One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. Easily my favorite restaurant on Long Island. I am a chef and the guy at the table next to me was as well and we were both blown away. My kids (4 years old) loved everything, my mother (pescatarian) couldnt have loved her food more. The drinks were on point and the flavors were beyond compare. Their char sui bao were hands-down the best I have ever had.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian dim sum and a ton of dishes too. Absolutely fantastic vegetarian offerings!Kid-friendliness: My 4 year olds loved the place! The servers were great with them!“
“Great prices and the broth in the soup dumplings had an incredible depth of flavor. We also really enjoyed the Sesame ball with red bean, which was hot and fresh. The red bean paste had good flavor, unlike many of the others I have tried in the past. Will definitely be back.“
“A cash only hole in the wall that serves steam rice noodle . Each rice noodle comes with 3 vegetables ( scallions, beansprout, lettuce, corn)I prefer the shrimp roll over the signature. My shrimp roll had 5 pieces of shrimp. A small order was filling for me.Adding an egg is $1. They like to upsell here and will ask if you want egg.I feel like none of the meat in the signature roll were seasoned. The dried shrimp was nonexistent .Soymilk was way water down or under extracted. 1/5.The food is made to order and I had never waited longer than 10 minutes. There is no restroom and they advise to go to the nearby malls. Bring your own sanitizer/ lysol wipes. This would not be a good place for groups since counter seating is limited and first come first serve.-1 starThis place is dirty. I have never seen them clean the countertop or the spoons for the hot sauce or even wiped down the soy sauce bottles. I am usually there at the less busy time.I didn't get corn in my steamed rolls and a piece showed up. I am not a fan of this cross contamination. I would not go here if you have seafood allergy or a vegetarian.“
“Excellent gong kong style brunch style noodle and congee spot, and perfect for rice dishes and Chinese vegetable and simple sautéed Chinese style beef and seafood dishes. I enjoy coming back and doing take out for those days I don't feel like cooking!“
“The food was great! General Tso’s chicken lunch special was reasonably priced at $12-13 and it was plenty of food! The water was ice cold and refreshing, which isn’t always the case. The service was great as well. I would recommend it to anyone passing by.“
“Strange that this place doesn't appear on maps unless the restaurant filter is active.. this is a solid Cantonese restaurant. Large variety of dim sum, noodles, and rice dishes. Service was great. Food was good. Nice and quiet seating area when we visited at high tea time (Tuesday at 3pm). Will definitely visit again to try other menu items.“
“A delicious take out experience! Food was ready by the time I selected to pick it up, was in and out quick.Food:- Garlic shredded pork (medium spicy) 5/5: this was delicious with just a flavorful and enjoyable level of spice. Spice brought a light burn to my lips, I’m not the most spice tolerant. Sriracha is my happy place spice wise for reference.- sesame chicken 5/5: very tender, juicy chicken. The sauce was sweeter than I expected, but it’s not a dish I’ve gotten before. Very good, especially for lunch the next day.- pork soup dumplings 5/5: very big, filled with delicious pork and soup. Almost too big to eat in one bite - almost! Great portion of soup and pork filling.- pork and sour cabbage fried dumpling 4/5: these were good, nothing remarkable which is why a 4, whereas I thought the other items were very very good. I think the sauce was what I didn’t like as much about them.Based on my experience, I happily recommend Zouji for getting high quality, flavorful Chinese food in Glen Cove. It’s my favorite of the Chinese restaurants I’ve tried in town (3 total). I will be back the next time I’m craving Chinese food!“
“Maybe I am living in 2019 but I found the food prices to be rather high. Portions were not overly generous, either. But what we did get was excellent. Wonton soup was the best I have had anywhere. Scallion pancake tasty but not too greasy, as it can be elsewhere. Chicken and broccoli, orange beef, and lo mein had the rest of my party raving. The dining room was clean and bright (not too bright) and the service impeccable.“
“Dumplings are pretty good here. They have so many different kinds of dumplings and so many different varieties of colors which makes it kinda fun and pretty to see. The ambience is pretty cool and somewhere I would like to visit again. The service is pretty good but I also want to emphasize that it does get busy sometimes so I guess be prepared and maybe find an off time to go?... just a suggestion lol“
“Delicious food!!! Not a long wait for the order. They always offer free bun or dumplings as a starter. Everything is very fresh and super delicious. I have lots of favorite dishes there. I am always trying to get something new. Real Asian food. They take cash only, but you can pay by Zelle or Venmo as well. Highly recommended.“
“Stumbled upon this place after ordering take out from here and was pleasantly surprised to find it inside a supermarket filled with isles of amazing international foods. Unfortunately, when we arrived home we realized we were given the wrong order and immediately called them and they kindly Ubered our correct order to us without any charge and let us keep the wrong order. We ordered: 1. Scallion pancakes with sliced beef - a favorite 2. Steamed bbq pork buns - huge and pork was delicious but too much dough to meat ratio 3. Sesame chicken - too much dough 4. Chicken with broccoli - healthy option and delicious They had a promotion and gifted us 6 pork soup dumplings which were a fav as well. I will definitely order from here again for more dim sum style food as there are so many things I wanted to try. I also like that they have frozen options for dim sum to take home and make yourself. I recommend picking the order up to check out the food bizarre as well.“
“This Chinese restaurant was converted from a dance and Spanish food palace. Now the Crown One was the second Chinese restaurant in the same location. They are serving dim sim (small snacks) during the lunch hours.....of course we can have a banquet. The dim sims are very ordinary small dishes which I mean no new adventures at all.Parking lot is big enough for about 40-50 cars. Only velvet parking, guys are polite and park cars with caution. The restaurant is adding 18 percent on top of invoice plus tax as their service tips.“
“It's a snack bar that's perfect for takeout. You can order and pay to take away. The price is affordable, and the food is generally okay, but the fried rice and sausages are quite oily. The boss claims that the freshly baked soy milk is very rich. I think there may be too much water and there is no soy milk flavor.“
“Visiting Flushing and were looking for lunch and get out of the cold. Came upon Dim Sum Garden and decided to give it a try. Ordered Walnut JUMBO shrimp in sweet mayo sauce and Salt and pepper calamari. I told the waiter to ask the chef to go easy on the salt . Plates came to table and they were beautiful. Very large portions and delicious. Service was great. Big menu for dim sum and another one for meals with rice and soup. Great place to eat and they have delivery and takeout.“
“No-hassle pickup!!Order on their website before you leave the house and it's ready for pickup when you arrive 10-15 minutes later.Order when you arrive with the touchpad and your food will be in a locker when ready. So tasty and just nice guys running the shop.“
“After so many times trying multiple Chinese food reasturants and take out places I can finally say Oriental Garden has the most delicious food! We had pretty much everything from the menu and was super FRESH with high quality ingredients which is hard to get in most of the Chinese places. As far as price, I'm ok with. After all most important is the quality of what I ingest ?“
